1. Through out the entire stage of growth, the amount of nutrients, number of tillers and of spikes increased in the Simagcalin treated plot as compared with the control. The treated plot showed healthul growth at the later growing stage. On the other hand. management of irrigation water resulted in raised the grain straw ratio and retarded the culm height about 10%. 2. Application of Simagcalin greatly increased the content of phosphorus and magnesium at the harvesting time. The culm and sheath analyses are recommendable for the determination of magnesium deficiency. 3. The controled irrigation would effect root activity as the main factor, and Simagcalin might act as a secondary factor. 4. While the application of phosphorus may not affect the yield components, The basic elements in Simagcalin may enhance the uptake ov nutrients under heavy application of nitrogn.
관절염 대상자의 건강상태 조사 : 일개 도ㆍ농 복합시를 중심으로

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the health status and to examine the relationship between health related variables of the clients with arthritis. This descriptive-correlational study was measured physical health status(pain, fatigue, physical disability, joint flexibility) and psycho-social health status(social function disability, self-efficacy, depression) . The clients were consisted of 127 arthritis clients who were randomly selected from health center, 2 sub health center and 6 primary health care center in Wonju City. The data was collected from November 2000 to January 2001. The results of the study analyzed using a SPSS win were as follows : 1) The subjects' average age was 64.81 years old(female : 86.6%, male : 13.4%). 2) In physical health status, the average score of fatigue was 63 scores and pain was 69.77 Physical disability score was higher than total disability score. In psycho-social disability, housekeeping management disability score was higher than social function disability score. In psycho-social health status, the average score of self-efficacy was 70.86 and the subjects have higher level of depression, more than 20 scores. 3) On Pain sites, almost of subjects complained of a knee joint pain. The waist, wrist, and shoulder joint Pain were followed. The numbers of Pain site were 8.3 Per individuals 4) The flexibility of knee and shoulder joint were lower than another joints. 5) Correlation with fatigue, pain, physical disability, social disability, self-efficacy and depression was revealed highly significant. We suggest that health Promotion program considering our research results should be provided for arthritis clients in community level .
Fluoride effect of bonding strength between sealant and tooth surface

Objectives: The authors have conducted experiments on the bond strength of sealant, after fluoride application to determine the influence of fluoride topical application to the bond strength of the sealant. Methods: Molar teeth were extracted, collected and stored in normal saline as the objective materials. An APF gel application and the NaF-iontophoresis method were performaed, serving Subsequent data was compared to the bonding strength on the control group, those without fluoride applicationl Results: hear bonding strength of sealant was 45.12MPa on the group with sealant in a 2% NaF application using the iontophoresis method. There were no significant differences in the data of the control group, those without fluoride application as 46.19 MPa statistically (p>0.05). Shear bonding strength of sealant on the APF application group was 40.30 MPa. There were significant differences in the data of the control group, those without fluoride application as 45.3 MPa)<0.01). Comparing the 1.23% APF applied group and 2% NaF iontophoresis application group, shear strength of the APF group was determined as 44.16 Pa, and 41.66 Map on the NaF applied group, respectively, but there were no significant differences between the two groups(p>0.05). Conclusion: It was recommended to apply the use of 2% NaF with the iontophoresis method as the most proper for less influence in removing the sealant from the enamel surface.
안성천과 경안천 수중 과불화화합물의 잔류농도와 분광학적 특성

Concentrations of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) in water samples from Anseong and Gyeongan stream were measured using an LC-MS/MS system. The average perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), perfluorohexane sulfonate (PFHxS), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) concentrations of samples collected from Anseong stream were 43.4 ng/L, 15.0 ng/L, 14.5 ng/L and 3.5 ng/L, respectively. In the case of Gyeongan stream, the average concentration of PFOS, PFOA, PFHxS and PFNA were 15.5 ng/L, 8.3 ng/L, 5.4 ng/L and 1.5 ng/L, respectively. From the result, PFOS was found the dominant PFCs in these streams. The PFCs detected from the streams were correlated with DOC concentration, UV/vis factor and Fluorescence properties of water samples. In general, PFCs concentration had positive correlations with DOC concentration, A250/365 and A465 and synchronous Fluorescence indexes (Protein-Like Fluorescence, Fulvic-Like Fluorescence, Humic-Like Fluorescence). However, PFCs were negatively correlated with S(R). This result showed that concentration of PFCs could be significantly influenced by the aromaticity and molecular weight of organic compounds in water samples.
