나일론 6의 유리 섬유 합성율이 피로 파양 특성에 미치는 영향

        김용수,허윤경,태순호 한국산업안전학회 1998 한국안전학회지 Vol.13 No.4

In recent years, a number of metal machine parts, in the field of the car manufactures and electronic goods for home, have been replaced by nylon-6 in order to weight, cost, and a period of process of manufacture. It's because nylon-6 materials as an industrial material have higher economical and productive advantage than the metalic ones. However, in domestic injection manufactures, there are few data on fiber glass synthetic on nylon-6. It is said that plastic in process of manufacture using the same injection materials make their results different in large scale according to fiber glass synthetic rate conditions. In this study, we have studied effects of the glass fiber synthetic rate on the characteristics of fatigue failure for nylon-6.

HAZOP 분석 자동화를 위한 객체지향 모델링

        이진명,허보경,황규석 한국산업안전학회 1998 한국안전학회지 Vol.13 No.1

Hazard and operability (HAZOP) analysis is one of the safety analysis method that is used in the chemical complex, because it can systematically identify causes and consequences of all the deviation that could occur. Since this method needs to hire specialized experts, it is costly and time-consuming. Therefore HAZOP Expert System has been developed to automate this analysis. This approach introduced object-oriented method and knowledge representation which is hierarchical tree of units to supply flexibility in the system, functional semantic network, propagation equation and rule-chaining method to set up the expert system for automating HAZOP analysis.

A direct shape optimization approach for contact problems with boundary stress concentration

        H. Ou,B. Lu,Z. S. Cui,C. Lin 대한기계학회 2013 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.27 No.9

The paper presents a direct shape optimization approach that minimizes both boundary stress concentration and peak contact pressure of multi-body contact systems. This approach is centered on the direct shape modification of boundary regions of stress concentration measured by von Mises stresses and contact surfaces measured by contact pressure. Without requiring sensitivity data for shape modification, shape optimization is made directly on nodal positions through an iterative computational scheme. Therefore, this approach is simple to implement using either commercial finite element software or in-house programs. An adjustable weighting factor is used to ensure stable and accelerated convergence in shape optimization. To evaluate the proposed approach, three case problems are presented, and the results show that this direct shape optimization approach can be especially applicable to the design and analysis of multi-body systems where boundary stress concentration and contact pressure distribution are an important consideration.

Antimutagenic Effects of Lycopene and Tomato Purée

        Zdeňka Polívková,Petr Šmerák,Hana Demová,Milan Houška 한국식품영양과학회 2010 Journal of medicinal food Vol.13 No.6

Several health benefits, including protection from tumors at various anatomic sites, such as the lungs, stomach, and prostate gland, have been attributed to tomatoes and tomato-based products. Among tomato carotenoids, lycopene is the most active antioxidant, although it has many other biological effects, but data on its antimutagenic effects are scarce and often discrepant. The aim of our work was to determine the protective effects of lycopene, with regard to mutagenicity, via two indirect mutagens/carcinogens—2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ) and aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and the direct mutagen/carcinogen N-nitroso-N-methylurea (MNU)—using the Ames and micronucleus tests. The significant, dose-dependent, antimutagenic effects of two concentrations of lycopene (30μg and 300μg per plate) were demonstrated at various concentrations of both AFB1 and IQ in two strains of Salmonella typhimurium (TA98 and TA100). The protective effects of lycopene relative to MNU were lower in comparison to its protective effects relative to AFB1 and IQ. Mice treated for 3 days with different doses of lycopene (either 25 or 50mg/kg of body weight) prior to administration of individual mutagens resulted in a significant reduction of micronuclei numbers in the micronucleus test. Tomato purée (tested using the Ames test and AFB1) revealed a much stronger, dose-dependent, antimutagenic effect compared with corresponding doses of pure lycopene. Results indicate that lycopene has antimutagenic effects, although the effects are lower than that of tomato purée, which contains a complex mixture of bioactive phytochemicals. The antimutagenic effect is connected with the chemoprotective role of lycopene, tomatoes, and tomato products in the prevention of carcinogenesis.

      • Analysis of Integrating the Yan'an Spirit into University Education in China's New Era

        Hou Tianzuo(Tianzuo Hou),Zheng Xueyin(Xueyin Zheng) 아시아사회과학학회 2023 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.10 No.2

The Yan'an Spirit is a unique ideological and cultural phenomenon that emerged during the period of China's War of Resistance against Japan. It represents the experience summary and theoretical innovation of the Chinese nation in the Yan'an area. The Yan'an Spirit is an important part of China's spiritual heritage with rich connotations. It not only enabled the Chinese nation to defeat the Japanese invaders in conjunction with the international community during World War II, but also helped to establish a more confident national identity, providing great impetus for China's modernization. Today, university education in China has the mission of cultivating students. Integrating the Yan'an Spirit into university education can help college students strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and persist in seeking truth from facts. Therefore, in the new era, it is necessary to combine the characteristics of China's university education with the actual situation of universities' own development, and continually explore innovative paths to integrate the Yan'an Spirit into university education in China.

ANALYSIS ON STRAIN FATIGUE IN GIGH STRENGTH STRUCTURE STEEL 16NiCo

Hou, Hou, J.Y.,Han, Han, Y.F.,Gu, Gu, T. 한국재료학회 1995 Fabrication and Characterization of Advanced Mater Vol.1 No.2

The low cycle strain fatigue of steel 16NiCo was investigated in details, and the cyclic stress-strain behaviors were discussed and analysized. The results have shown that the strain fatigue strength of steel 16NiCo is comparable to the same kind of steel AF1410 produced in U.S.A., and the cyclic softening would occur during the cycle loading. In addition, the analysis and calculation for plastic strain energy have indicated that the best combination of the strength with ductility of steel 16NiCo can be achieved under standard heat treatment.

Transient microfluidic approach to the investigation of erythrocyte aggregation: comparison and validation of the method

        Hou, Jian-Xun,Shin, Se-Hyun The Korean Society of Rheology 2008 Korea-Australia rheology journal Vol.20 No.4

A method based on transient shear flow dynamics of red cell aggregates was developed to investigate reversible re-aggregation processes with decreasing shear flow. In the microchannel-flow aggregometry, the aggregated red blood cells that are subjected to continuously decreasing shear stress in microchannel flow were measured with the use of a laser-scattering technique. Both the laser-backscattered intensity and pressure were simultaneously measured with respect to time, resulting in shear stress ranging from $0{\sim}35\;Pa$ for a time period of less than 30 seconds. The time dependent recording of the backscattered light intensity (syllectogram) yielded an upward convex curve with a peak point, which reflected the transition threshold of aggregation in the RBC suspensions. Critical-time and critical-shear stress corresponding to the peak point were examined by varying the initial pressure-differential and the micro channel depth, and these results showed good potential for being used as new aggregation indices. In the present study, these newly proposed indices were also validated by differentiating the effect of fibrinogen on RBC aggregation and then these indices were compared to the conventional indices that were measured by a rotational aggregometer.

      • Evaluation of 관-Amyloid Peptides Fibrillation Induced by Nanomaterials Based on Molecular Dynamics and Surface Plasmon Resonance.

        Hou, Yafei,Li, Pengfei,Zhou, Hongjian,Zhu, Xiaoli,Chen, Haifeng,Lee, Jaebeom,Koh, Kwangnak,Shen, Zhongming,Chen, Hongxia American Scientific Publishers 2015 Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Vol.15 No.2

This report investigated the effect of carbon nanomaterials, single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) and graphene oxide, on fibrillation of 관-amyloid 40 (A관40) based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and molecular dynamics (MD). MD simulations are carried out in order to reveal the molecular mechanisms of the interaction between nanomaterials and A관40. The strong interaction between A관40 and nanomaterials is related to Van der Waals forces and the Coulomb force, inducing delicate manipulation of the main bonding energy for fibrillation of A관40. The interaction energy between the A관 peptide and graphene is higher than that of SWCNT. Experimental results show both carbon nanomaterials enhance the appearance of a critical nucleus for nucleation of peptide fibrils. Graphene is more beneficial to assist the nucleation process than SWCNT. Combination of SPR and molecular dynamics could be a high-throughput method to screen protein fibrillation.
