In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, the concept of “Zhonghua minzu” (Chinese nation) was formally put forward under the historical background of the simultaneous outbreak of Chinese national crisis and border crisis. And this term has gone through a long historical process from the initial nickname of the Han nationality to the final development of the concept of “national race”. With the emergence of Fei Xiaotong’s theory of unity of pluralistic society of Chinese nation, people have a better understanding and deeper interpretation of the concept of “Zhonghua minzu” (Chinese nation).

Sustainable Development and Happiness in Bhutan

Gross national happiness (GNH) is a measure of economic and moral progress that the king of the Himalayan country of Bhutan introduced in the 1970s as an alternative to gross domestic product. Rather than focusing strictly on quantitative economic measures, gross national happiness takes into account an evolving mix of quality-of-life factors. The development process in Bhutan has more meaningful purpose than economic growth alone. Our holistic goal is the pursuit of GNH, the principal guiding philosophy for the long term journey as a nation. Bhutan has made impressive development progress over the last five and half decades culminating into successful implementation of the MDGs and fulfillment of the thresholds in 2 areas of the LDC graduation criteria – Per-capita Income and Human Assets. Bhutan is well on track on all SDGs. Poverty rate has been brought down for both income and multidimensional poverty to 8.2 and 5.2 per cent respectively.

Countermeasures and Suggestions on Strengthening the Construction of Yunnan border blockade facilities under COVID-19 Epidemic

Yunnan province is located on the southwest border of China. The province has 25 border counties bordering Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, with a length of more than 4, 000 kilometers. The border areas are connected by mountains and rivers, lacking isolation by natural barriers and physical facilities, and isolation measures are very simple in many areas. People in border areas live in close contact, and there are many ports and passages. Smuggling frequently occurs during the epidemic. Since Ruili epidemic broke out for the first time in September last year, many border counties and cities in Yunnan Province have also upgraded their epidemic prevention and control measures. Due to the special geographical location of Yunnan Province, the development of epidemic prevention and control in Yunnan Province is easily affected by the factors of neighboring countries. Therefore, it is an urgent task to strengthen the construction of border blocking (isolation) facilities and prevent the epidemic from spreading into Yunnan from the source.

中小微企业融资难、融资贵问题是制约中国中小微企发展的一个重要因素。重庆作为中国的重要直辖市, 中小微企业的发展也与中国西部的经济发展密切相关。要保持国民经济的持续发展就需要解决制约中小微企业发展的一些关键问题, 其中为中小微企业提供合理融资的方案和支持就成为关键的要素。本研究通过调查研究分析了其中的要素, 提出了一些解决方案, 为重庆的中小微企业发展提供了帮助, 有利于中国重庆的经济发展。 The difficulty and high cost of financing for micro, medium and small enterprises in China is an important factor restricting their development. As an important municipality directly under the Central Government of China, the development of small, medium and micro enterprises in Chongqing is also closely related to the economic development of western China. In order to maintain the sustainable development of national economy, it is necessary to solve some key problems restricting the development of small, medium and micro enterprises, among which the key elements are to provide reasonable financing schemes and support for small, medium and micro enterprises. This study analyzes the factors through investigation and research, and puts forward some solutions to help the development of small, medium and micro enterprises in Chongqing, which is conducive to the economic development of Chongqing in China.

As an important driving force for social and national development, talent plays an important role in realizing national revitalization and winning the strategic resources of international competition initiative. Based on the background of the implementation of the policy of Chengdu Chongqing double city economic circle, this paper deeply explores the path and basis for the development of talent innovation. Research on the Construction of Evaluation Index System of Ideological and Political Teaching Ability of Professional Teachers in Colleges and Universities

摘要: 构建科学合理的高校专业课教师课程思政教学能力评价体系既是对高校专业课教师思政育人教学能力的全面检验,也是引导教师专业课课程思政能力提升的有效途径。本研究分析当前高校教师课程思政教学能力评价工作存在的突出问题,提出高校教师课程思政教学能力评价体系构建应建立在针对性原则、全局性原则、可操作性原则和发展性原则的基础上。从教学准备、教学实施、教学反思与交流三个维度,构建由 3 个一级指标,7 个二级指标,19 个三级指标组成的高校教师课程思政教学能力评价指标体系。 Constructing a scientific and reasonable evaluation system for professional course teachers' ideological and political teaching ability can not only test the teaching ability of professional course teachers, but also guide teachers to improve their ideological and political teaching ability.This study analyzes the outstanding problems existing in the evaluation of college curriculum ideological and political teaching ability, and proposes that the construction of the evaluation system of college teachers' curriculum ideological and political teaching ability should be based on the principle of pertinence, overall principle, operability principle and development principle.The evaluation is carried out from three dimensions: teaching preparation, teaching implementation, teaching reflection and communication.An evaluation index system of ideological and political teaching ability of college teachers is set up, which consists of 3 first-level indicators, 7 second-level indicators and 19 third-level indicators.

The Influence of Geo-organism on State Construction: A Case Study of Angkor Dynasty in Cambodia

How to combine geopolitics with Chinese frontier studies seems to be the correct way out for the principle of Chinese frontier studies. Besides social system, industrialization degree, national composition and historical identity, geo-organism is another important factor that determines the state construction form. This paper attempts to explain the different functions of geographical pattern before and after industrial civilization through the brilliant history of Angkor Dynasty in Cambodia. For example, the landform surrounded by mountains on three sides and going out to sea in the southwest makes it possible to build large-scale water conservancy facilities, which in turn contributes to the largest rice producing area in the Indochina Peninsula. Another example is that the unique waterway channel opens the gate of military and material transportation, which facilitates the expansion of production and military occupation. These are enough to prove the relationship between the state form and the geographical organism, and put forward new ideas for exploring the principles of China’s frontier science, and also provide useful historical reference for strengthening regional cooperation along route of the Belt and Road Initiative and building Community of Shared Future for Mankind.

In Vitro Anticancer Effect of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis Extract on HepG2 Human Liver Cancer Cells

摘 要:本研究旨在评估栀子提取物对癌细胞的生理活性作用,并采用 MTT 法和 qPCR 法检测栀子对HepG2 肝癌细胞体外增殖抑制和凋亡诱导效应。结果表明,栀子可抑制 HepG2 细胞增殖,而对 L02 正常肝细胞无毒性,不影响其增殖。这一发现揭示了栀子提取物作为潜在的抗癌药物的价值。同时,栀子具有上调 HepG2 细胞 caspase-3、caspase-8 以及 caspase-9 的表达的作用,这进而促进了癌细胞的凋亡。栀子是富含生物活性成分的一种天然药物,并且它还具有良好的抗癌效果。 This study's objectives were to assess the physiological effects of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis extract on cancer cells and to use MTT and qPCR to identify the extract's in vitro induction of apoptosis and suppression of cell proliferation in HepG2 hepatoma cells. The findings shown that while Gardenia jasminoides Ellis is non-toxic to L02 normal liver cells and has no effect on their proliferation, it can suppress the growth of HepG2 cells. The importance of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis extract as a possible anticancer medication is made clear by this result. In the meantime, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis increases the production of caspase-3, caspase-8, and caspase-9 in HepG2 cells, which in turn encourages cancer cells to undergo apoptosis. A natural remedy with several bioactive components, gardenia jasminoides also has potent anti-cancer properties.

The Evaluation of Online Travel E-commerce on Customer Perceptions in China: A Case Study of CTRIP Company

This paper examines the development trend of online travel in China by using a case study method ─ CTRIP Company, to illustrate and analyse the application of E-commerce in tourism and travel setting. Additionally, it utilizes questionnaire to collect primary data. The results show high-educated people are the leading online travel customers. There are a rising number of on-line travelers and most of them are self-guide traveler. Otherwise, customers who are over 45-year-old and travel for business prefer choosing travel agencies for their itinerary. On the other hand, the data displays that security and price are the top two significant factors with which on-line travelers are concerned. Finally, it will propose several recommendations to improve E-tourism development level in China.

International researches on the relationship between children and cities, the impact of urban environment on children's body and mind, and how to build a child friendly city have reached a certain depth. At present, the construction of child friendly cities in China is still in its infancy. Among them, the urban spatial planning involving children has not been in-depth, and the disease burden caused by falls and road traffic injuries is still high. In view of the problems existing in the built environment of the city, we should carry out the construction of a child friendly city, pay attention to the safety guarantee of children's activity space, formulate targeted accidental injury prevention and control measures, and promote the inclusive sharing of children's medical and health service resources, high-quality and balanced development.
