        The purpose of study is to find which department variables influence academic achievement. To achieve this purpose, the characteristics of department organization such as aims, structure, norm, control type were reviewed through literature study an structural model, functional model, and organizational climate model were selected as sub-model of organizational analysis model of this study, department variables according to three submodel were extracted as follow: ⅰ) humanistic and physical variables as to structural model. ⅱ) function of education, service, administration as to functional model. ⅲ) pressure variables and needs variables as to organizational climate model. A relationship between variables that were related to academic achievement was presented as a model.

        챠터(Charter) 학교의 이해와 시사점

        School reformers continue to argue that the traditional public school lack adequate oversight and accountability. This arguments make the creation of charter school concept today. Major reasons to get a national wide concerns for charter school model in reform strategy were in enhancing educational choice options, permitting true decentralization, focussing on results, not input, remaining public schools continuously, offering new professional opportunities for teachers, and fostering a more market-driven education system. Thus this article is to understand charter schools and to get it's implication when our country intend to apply the schools. This article consists of four parts. Firstly, this article analyzed a charter school concept and characteristics. In its purest form, a charter school is an autonomous educational entity operating under a charter, or contrast, that has been negotiated between a organizers, who create and operate the school and a sponsor, who oversees the provision of the charter. And charter schools have a common characteristics as follows; ① Teachers, parents, and other community members can create new schools or convert existing schools by authority of a charter granted by an authorized sponsor ② Charter schools are responsible for improved student achievement. ③ In return for accountability for specific results, the state grants and upfront waiver of virtually all rules and regulations governing public schools. ④ The state authorizes more than one organization to start and operate a charter public school in the community. ⑤ The organizers, usually teachers, parents, or other community members, can approach either a local board or some other public body, to be the school sponsor. ⑥ The charter school is a school of choice. ⑦ The charter school is a discrete legal entity. ⑧ The full per-pupil allocation should move with the student to the charter school. ⑨ Participating teachers should be given support to try new opportunities by having their status protected. Secondly, this article examined a charter school approval process and the roles of key players in that process, and the elements of application. A number of steps are involved in the creation of a charter school. Key player in approval process are organizer, sponsors, final authority, technical assistance providers, and charter school governing bodies, although different states may refer to these players by different names, and their responsibilities may vary. The most of approval process is on charter application that must include a required elements, that are mission statement, goals and objectives, evidence of support, educational program and standards, plan for evaluating pupil performance, proposed budget, administrative audit, displace of students and staff, governance and operation, employee relationships, liability and insurance, transportation plan, enrollment policy, and waiver. Thirdly, this article examined the present conditions of charter school and the impacts on students, teacher, parents and public education. There were 34 charter school laws in the United States, October, 1998. Charter school states that had strong to medium strength laws were 22 states, and the states that had weak laws were 12 states. Although charter schools were extremely diverse because of state and local, most charter schools were small, but they served the great racial and economic diversity of students that made up public education, and also afforded charter school developers an opportunity to pursue educational goals that they felt they could accomplish more effectively with fewer restrictions and stable financial support. The charter impacts had not a clear and public evidence so far, many advocator concluded that a great deal is being accomplished, though there are many dilemmas that these schools face and must overcome. Finally, this article explored some implication of charter schools when our country want to change for public school system to get more autonomy and accountability. Basic values of charter school give some implication on the possibility of that our public schools change to consumer-oriented, diverse, accountable, results-oriented, professional institutions

        전문교과 교사의 전문성과 일 가치감, 귀인성향, 학교 조직풍토의 관계

        이 연구는 전문교과 교사의 전문성의 수준을 구명하고 일 가치감, 귀인성향, 학교 조직풍토와 전문성의 관계를 구명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전문교과 교사의 전문성을 측정하기 위한 질문지를 개발하였으며, 기존의 일 가치감, 귀인성향, 학교조직풍토 질문지를 보완하여 활용하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문계 고등학교 전문교과 교사의 전문성 인식 수준은 보통 이상이었다. 전문교과 교사는 수업 활동 영역과 생활지도 및 학급경영 영역에 대한 전문성이 높았고, 현장실습 지원 및 지역사회와의 연계 영역의 전문성이 낮았다. 성별, 교직경력, 학력, 연수참여 횟수, 직위, 학교의 위치, 계열, 설립유형, 학교규모, 입학성적 등은 전문교과 교사의 전문성에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 전문계 고등학교 천문교과 교사의 학교 조직풍토에 대한 인식에서, 교사의 행동은 헌신적 행동, 친교적 행동, 방관적 행동 순으로 나타났으며, 교장의 행동은 목표지향적 행동, 관료지향적 행동, 인간지향적 행동 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전문교과 교사의 전문성에 영향을 미치는 독립변인들은 교사의 헌신적 행동, 일 가치감, 연수 참여 횟수, 교직경력, 최종학력이었으며, 설명력은 35.8%였다. 특히, 교사 자신의 헌신적 행동과 일 가치감이 전문성에 중요한 요인이었다. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of vocational teachers' expertise in vocational high schools, and to determine the relationship between this expertise and perceived value of work, locus of control, school organizational climates of vocational teachers in vocational high schools. To achieve the purpose, a survey questionnaire was developed by a researcher, which measured vocational teachers' expertise and other was improved from a previously used questionnaire of perceived value of work, locus of control, school organizational climates. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, vocational teachers' expertise in high schools was higher than average, their level of teaching and student guidance abilities was high, but their field practice support and the networks with communities were low. Teachers' sex, career, school career, study and training participation, position, the location of school, the type of vocational high school, the type of establishment, school scale, the entrance score of students was found to impact on the expertise of the teachers. Second, in the light of organizational climates on teachers' behavior, the frequency of devoting activities was higher and that of on-looking activities was lower than average. In the light of organizational climates on the principal's behavior, the frequency of goal oriented activities was higher than average and that of human oriented activities was lower. Third, there were teachers' devoting activities, perceived value of work, study and training participation, teachers' career, school career as variables which influenced vocational teachers' expertise, and the explanation of the variables was 35.8%. Teachers' devotion and their perceived value of work were especially critical factors to their expertise.

      • GPS/INS를 활용한 항공 정사영상 제작에 관한 연구

        In this study we took the aerial photos scaled 1:5,000 with aircraft equipped GPS/INS. DEM was generated by automatic image matching method using the exterior orientation parameters obtained by GPS/INS, and the ortho-images were produced by differential rectification based on that. As the result of measurement of RMSE based on digital map for ortho-images produced with GPS/INS data, the horizontal position error was 61cm that was good enough to satisfy the precision demand of 1:1,000 ortho-image map. There were no big differences in precision of ortho-images between GPS/INS and aerial triangulation process. It seems that the producing method of ortho-image using GPS/INS data can be speedier and more efficient method than traditional method using aerial triangulation

        孔子의 體育思想 硏究

        China regard six arts as compulsory subjects in the school education of a ruling class from the Seoju period and made much of the pen and the sword in the military education But Confucius didn't respect the sword but the pen. He taught six scriptures instead of six arts and disregareded physical and military education. His idea of physical education had great influence on physical activities and developments in China and other countries with the confucian culture. His confucianism starting from the Han Period got an advantage over the books of various philosophers and scholars in school education. Confucius respected mental activities but neglected manual labor and a working class. His providential outlook on the universe and his emotionalism had final influence on the physical areas in posterior generation. Especially he made light of the dynamic and human body emphasizing only the moral training and intellectual training. This kind of his idea had been a guiding principle from ancient times to modern times. As a result, Confucian idea of physical education led to the weak body strength which was compared to the word that a chicken's power is better than a scholar's.
