      • 포스파젠 분리막을 이용한 금속이온의 분리

        Poly〔bis(trifluoromethoxyethoxyethoxyethoxy)phosphazene〕was casted by dip coating method into membranes supported on porous polypropylene mesh filter sheet for metal separation testing. A solution of Cr^3+, Co^2+, Mn^2+ nitrates was used in diffusion experiments which conducted from 25 to 60℃. Membrane of poly〔bis(trifluoromethoxyethoxyethoxy-ethoxy)phosphazene〕was found to separate Cr ion from Mn and Co ions with separation factors of 2.0 at 60℃. Diffusion activation energy were calculated from diffusion coefficients.

        The purpose of this study are repair and maintenance management of submerged structures at river and harbor. Watertight concrete construction keeping water in for water retaining structures. For examples, dams, reservoirs and water tanks, water way, water gate, embankment, waste water treatment plants, sewers and pipelines. Watertight concrete construction keeping water out for waterproof facilities. Internally applied protective coatings for additional requirements of water and liquid retaining structures. Concrete erosion due to acidic environment and swelling from sulphate are applied for protective coating as infiltration polymer mortar, ceramic concoat and sika.

        메틸렌 클로라이드에 의한 폐장염

        Objectives: The authors report a case of pneumonitis caused by methylene chloride (MC). Methods: The patient was examined and diagnosed by clinical, radiologic, laboratorial and medical evaluation. The concentration of MC in the factory was measured to determine the exposure level. Results: The patient had an infiltration in chest X-ray, which underwent rapid relief of radiological finding, respiratory acidosis and hypoxemia in arterial blood gas analysis, and a ground-glass opacity in high resolution computerized tomography. MC was the only exposed chemical compound in this case. The concentration of MC was 39.9 ppm in the factory. Conclusions: We diagnosed this to be a case of pneumonitis by MC based on clinical laboratory findings, exposure history to MC and MC concentration in the factory.

      • 연 착화제 효능에 관한 동물실험적 연구

        This experiment was carried out to compare the efficacy of 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA) and calcium ethylenediamine tetraacetate(CaEDTA) as chelating agents for lead poisoning. The rats had been fed water containing 0.5% lead acetate for 3 months and randomly divided into three groups. We administered DMSA only for group I(n=5), CaEDTA only for group II(n=5), and both DMSA and CaEDTA for group III(n=10), for 4 days. We evaluated urinary lead(PbU) level, blood lead(PbB) level and blood zinc protoporphyrin(ZPP) level before and after administration of the chelating agents. The results obtained were as follows; 1. After administration of chelating agents, the mean PbU levels, which were 248.2㎍/dl, 252.6㎍/dl and 270.0㎍/dl in group I, II and III before administration, were increased to 484.6㎍/dl, 479.9㎍/dl and 1,792.1㎍/dl in group I, II and III, respectively(p<0.05). 2. After administration of chelating agents, the mean PbB levels, which were 67.4㎍/dl, 59.9㎍/dl and 62.5㎍/dl in group I, II and III before administration, were decreased to 38.1㎍/dl, 36.3㎍/dl and 31.3㎍/dl in group I, II and III, respectively(p<0.05), but there were no different changes of ZPP level among groups. 3. The blood lead clearances, which were calculated by PbB level before and after administration of chelating agents, were 49.8%, 43.5% and 39.5% in group III, I and II, respectively.

        視覺的 學習 프로그램이 弱視 兒童의 視效率性에 미치는 效果

        With the partially sighted children as its subjects the present study has aimed at bringing on the effect of “Visual Learning Program” on the visual efficiency and vision of the partially sighted children. The subjects had been blind school children selected by the selection standards of the present study and grounded into control group and experimental group by the “pair match”. Barraga's “Visual Efficiency Scale”, Han Chun-Sok's “Korean Near Vision Test Chart” and “K-WISC” were used as the experimental instrument. Ten tasks of the “Visual Learning Program” have been performed for thirty minutes a day during sixty-three days as the experimental treatment in the present study. To verify performance 1eve1, post visual efficiency test and near vision measurement were executed. With the distribution of one point to each item and with average group estimation and t-test, the present study concluded the followings : First, the effect of “Visual Learning Program”on the visual efficiency improvement of the partially sighted children turned out to be greater in trained experimental group than control group, proving that the visual learning program can elevate the visual efficiency of the partially sighted children; Second, the “Visual Learning Program” does not have greater effect on the near vision of the partially sighted children. It can be inferred from the conclusion that the provision of proper visual materials as well as tactile and aural media can increase the opportunities of visual learning for the partially sighted children.

      • Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS型 太陽電池의 製作 및 特性

        Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS solar cells having about 1-㎠ area have been fabricated by sequential vacuum evaporation of Cr and Cu metals on the (111) surface of p-type Si single crystal with a thin interfacial layer of SiO_2. The spectral response measurements and the effects of the oxide layer thickness between Cr and Si-substrate were investigated. Also, The antireflection coating improves signifficantly the conversion efficiency of Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS solar cells. Under AM1 illumination of solar simulator, the parameters of the best cell obtained are open-circuit voltage V_oc=0.5V, short-circuit current I_sc=26㎃, fill factor FF=0.67 and conversion efficiency η=8.7%.

      • 내린천 유역의 HEC-HMS 모형 적용에 관한 연구

        HEC-HMS model should be calibrated to be applied to these basins in Gangwon-do unlike the general basins. In the study, it is investigated whether the HEC-HMS model may be applied or not to Naerinchon basin where is the typical basin of Gangwon-do Additionally, the straightforword module of HEC-HMS for simulating the hydrologic characteristic of Gangwon-do basins well will be suggested by comparison of the numerical results with the observed data. The hydrologic results estimated by several modules such as Clark, SCS and Snyder methods in HEC-HMS model have been compared with the observed data for 1999~2000 storm events. It is concluded that Clark method are relatively applicable to the basins in Gangwon-do rather than the others methods. The parametric studies for HEC-HMS model should be studied further in order to apply to Gangwon-do basins more accurately.
