        This paper deals with stress analysis and deflections for probe stage systems connected to semi-conductor apparatus. Most of the real probe stage systems are composed of three mechanical parts such as slider, X-base and Y-base. In order to calculate the maximum stress and deflection for probe stage systems, three-dimensional finite element model is applied. Numerical results are obtained by changing various design parameters related to the above three parts. Through the numerical simulation, optimal design shape satisfying von Mises yield criterion is presented. The analysis was performed by using commercial COSMOS/M FEA code.

        Electromagnetic fields of the rectangular waveguide-loaded cavity are calculated using finite element method. Magnetic field vectors are used as vector variables with edge basis functions. The cavity analyzed in this paper is loaded by the rectangular waveguide only ?? mode excited. Also complex reflection coefficients are obtained.

        To achieve organizational objectives industrial organizations have process of decision making and doing. Of them decision making should be done in advance. But in traditional theories of organizations doing was regarded as of great importance before decision making. Besides, according to H.A Simon, traditional theories were impractical and superficial when applying their principles to organizations. We first admire him for establishing the decision making concept to get organizational objectives. The environment of industrial organizations are ever changing with rapidity while those of public administrative ones not. For their survival industrial organizations can't but change their objectives to cope with unexpected changing environments. But Simon emphasized middle management's means, not top management's objectives in pursuit of rationality. That's why it's an issue that he didnt make much of objectives, which might cause a bottleneck of adapting to the environments.

      • 選拔指數에 依한 水稻品種의 選拔

        Selection index methods were applied to selecting better performing rice varieties with better plant characters from rice yielding trials tested under six different cultural methods. The results obtained were summarized a follows: 1. Varieties such as No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 were selected as best performing varieties with good plant and grain characters. 2. Selection index Ⅰ computed from Hazel's method was appeared effectivefor selecting rice varieties grown under general optimum environmental conditions, while selection index Ⅱ computed from Pesek and Baker's desired genetic gain were effectivefor selecting rice varieties grown under rather stressed conditions. 3. The rank of mean yield of each variety was not completely in agreement with that of index values, which indicates the importance of other characters besides yield in selecting varieties. 4. Most characters studied were high in broad sense of heritabilities. 5. No significant interaction was found between varieties and cultural methods.

      • Tungsten 中間層을 使用한 Permalloy薄膜에 關한 硏究

        The magnetic properties of wire memory depends on the surface condition of the substrate (Cu). Particularly, the problem of surface condition of the electrodeposited magnetic film is more critical than that of the vacuum evaporated one. In this paper, to improve the magentic properties of wire memory, the tungsten film is electrodeposited between substrate and magnetic film. The permalloy magnetic film in which the tungsten film is electrodeposited, improves remakably the magnetic properties. So this type of permally magnetic film can be effectively used for the memory element.

      • 전기화학적 방법을 이용한 저온형 연료전지용 고분산 Pt 촉매의 제조

        Pt was deposited on carbon support by chronoamperometry. The catalytic activity for methanol oxidation was checked by CV (cyclic voltammetry) method. The amount of Pt loading was calculated by integration of I-t curve obtaining the total current used for the Pt deposition. The ECA (electrochemical active surface area) for loaded Pt was calculated from the hydrogen adsorption/desorption peaks in 0.5 M H₂SO₄solution. Pt was deposited on clean carbon electrode surface with various concentration of Pt solution (0.1 mM) was used. As the concentration of Pt increased, the specific catalystic activity of Pt decreased suggesting that, in the electrochemical reaction of Pt ion with electrode surface, Pt particles were smaller and more dispersed in low concentration of Pt solution. With this condition (0.1 mM Pt), Pt was electrodeposited on a commercial carbon support, Vulcan XC-72. Electrochemically loaded Pt catalyst had the higher ECA, and showed higher specific catalytic activity for mathanol oxidation than a commercial Pt/C catalyst.

      • 記憶素子材料로서의 强磁性薄膜에 關한 硏究

        The influence of pH in electrodeposited solution upon ferromagnetic thin films are studied in order to decide the proper production condition for good practical and stable quality of ferromagnetic thin film which can be applied as memory elements produced by the electrodeposited method. The thin films of 2000Å thickness of Ni, Permalloy, Co, and Fe are made on polycrystalline Cu substrate by the electrodeposited method, and the magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization and coercive force are measured with the magnetic hysteresis loop tracer modified for this work : another test is made on the effect of heat treatment of the thin films, after annealing is applied in the temperature range of 100-400℃ in 2×10^-5 Torr. The values of saturation magnetization the films of Ni, Permalloy, Co, and Fe films deposited in pH less than 6.5 reached to those of bulk and the values of saturation magnetization of the films deposited in pH more than 6.5 decreased to half of those of pH than 6.5. The coercive force of the thin films of Ni, Permalloy, Co, and Fe of pH less than 6.5 is as follows : Ni ; about 70 Oe Permally ; about 12 Oe Co ; about 50 Oe Fe ; about 30 Oe The values of coercive force of pH more than 6.5, excepting the Fe film rose 3 to 4 time higher values than those of pH less than 6.5. On the other hand, the coercive force of Fe, whose pH was more than 6.5 has the tendency to decrease. If the electrodeposited films of pH more than 6.5 are annealed at 350℃ for an hour, the saturation magnetization becomes almost the same value as that of the films of pH less than 6.5 except Fe which shows a slight decrease with increase of temperature. Experimental results show that any saturation magnetization and sudden change of coercive force in either above or below 6.5 of pH occurs when hydrogen elements of the solution insert into the grain boundary or when hydrogen oxide occurs in it. Consequently, according to the experimental results, it may be concluded that in order to have films which can be applied as stable memory elements produced by electrodeposited method, the films are to be annealed for an hour at 350℃ temperature in vacuum, keeping the pH of the electrodeposited solution below 6.5..
