        Relationship between organizational political Variables and Power and Influnces Tactics of HRD Professionals

        이 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 HRD 전문가들에 의해 이용되는 조직적 책략 변수와 힘과 영향력 전략 사이의 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 지금까지 HRD, T&D, OD 과정사이에 몇가지 변수가 있기도 했지만 이 과정은 선형적이고 논리적 절차에 의해 이루어졌다. 하지만 최근의 연구 동향은 교육과 훈련 활동에 있어 조직적 책략의 영향력에 관한 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. Yang과 그의 동료들은(1998, 2001) 힘과 영향력 전략 척도(POINTS)라고 불리우는 도구를 개발하였는데, 이 도구는 프로그램 개발 과정에서 프로그램 계획 행동을 측정하는 것이다. 즉, 교육과 훈련 프로그램을 개발하는 것은 사회적 정치적 과정이고 힘은 이러한 전문가들의 실제를 이해하는데 있어 핵심이 되는 요소라는 것을 가정하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있지만 북아메리카에서 개발된 이와 같은 이론적 틀이 다른 문화적 맥락에 적용 가능한 것인지에 대한 연구는 거의 없다. 이와 같은 맥락에서 우리나라의 HRD 전문가들이 프로그램을 개발하는데 있어 힘과 영향력 전략을 어떻게 이용하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 구체적인 연구 목표는 다음과 같다. 즉, 첫째, POINTS의 우리나라 버전은 프로그램 개발에서 이용되는 전략들간에 내적 일치도라는 측면에서 신뢰로운 도구인가? 둘째, 힘과 영향력 전략의 7가지 차원의 틀이 우리나라 맥락에 적용가능한 것인가? 셋째, HRD 전문가의 프로그램 개발 행동과 조직적 책략 변수 사이에 의미있는 관계가 있는가? 이 연구를 수행하기 위해 Baiyin Yang(1996)에 의해 개발된 Power and Influence Tactics Scale(POINTS)를 연구자 중 한 명이 한국어로 번역하였다. 이를 양국어가 유창한 HRD 전문가가 영어로 다시 번역하였다. 이와 같이 번역된 영어 버전과 한글 버전, 그리고 원 도구의 영어 버전이 영어와 한국어를 동시에 할 수 있는 7명의 HRD 전문가들에 의해 번역이 잘 이루어졌는지 타당도가 검증되었다. 이와 같은 과정을 거쳐 한글판 검사도구를 수정 보완하고 예비조사를 거쳐 240명의 HRD 분야의 프로그램 계획 경험이 있는 전문가들을 대상으로 하여 조사연구를 실시하였다. 조사 대상자는 기업, 대학의 평생교육 센터, 공공 기관의 HRD 프로그램 계획 경험이 있는 전문가들이었다. POINT의 한글판의 요인 구조와 차원을 결정짓기 위해 확인적 요인분석(Confirmatory factor analysis)을 실시하였고 이를 위해 LISREL 8 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 또한 조직적 책략 변수와 프로그램 개발 행동간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심리측정학적인 분석 결과 POINTS의 한글 버전은 신뢰도와 타당도 면에서 우수한 것으로 입증되었다( .69). 둘째, 프로그램 개발 상황에서 Yang(1996)이 제한한 힘과 영향력 전략을 구성하는 7가지 차원은 우리나라 맥락에 적용함에 있어 무리가 없는 것으로 입증되었다. 셋째, 조직적 책략 변수를 프로그램 개발 행동과 상당히 밀접하게 연관되어 있다고 결론지을 수 있다.

        Expression and Distribution of the Guanine Nucleotide-binding Protein Subunit Alpha-s in Mice Skin Tissues and Its Association with White and Black Coat Colors

        Guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-s ($Gn{\alpha}s$) is a small subunit of the G protein-couple signaling pathway, which is involved in the formation of coat color. The expression level and distribution of $Gn{\alpha}s$ were detected by quantitative real-time-polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), western blot, and immunohistochemistry to investigate the underlying mechanisms of coat color in white and black skin tissues of mice. qPCR and western blot results suggested that $Gn{\alpha}s$ was expressed at significantly higher levels in black mice compared with that of white mice, and transcripts and protein possessed the same expression in both colors. Immunohistochemistry demonstrated $Gn{\alpha}s$ staining in the root sheath and dermal papilla in hair follicle of mice skins. The results indicated that the $Gn{\alpha}s$ gene was expressed in both white and black skin tissues, and the expression level of $Gn{\alpha}s$ in the two types of color was different. Therefore, $Gn{\alpha}s$ may be involved in the coat color formation in mice.

        Effects of Physicochemical Properties of Different Base Oils on Friction Coefficient and Surface Roughness in MQL Milling AISI 1045

        Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) is an emerging green and resource-saving machining technique jetting minute amount lubricants and gas after mixing and atomization. However, MQL development is restricted to mineral oils because of its undegradability and threat to the environment and human health. Vegetable oils can replace mineral oils as base oil for MQL benefitting from its biodegradability and renewable property. Nevertheless, the lubrication mechanism at the tool-workpiece interface of different vegetable oils with various physicochemical properties has not been revealed systematically. In order to verify the interfacial lubrication characteristics of different vegetable oils, MQL milling experiments of AISI 1045 based on fi ve vegetable oils (cottonseed, palm, castor, soybean, and peanut oils) were carried out. The experimental results showed that, palm oil obtained the lowest milling force ( F x = 312 N, F y = 156 N), friction coeffi cient (0.78), and surface roughness values ( Ra = 0.431 μm, RSm = 0.252 mm) and the smoothest surface of workpiece. Furthermore, the physiochemical properties (composition, molecular structure, viscosity, surface tension, and contact angle) of vegetable oil were analyzed. Palm oil with high content of saturated fatty acid, high viscosity and small contact angle can form the lubricating oil fi lm with the highest strength and the largest spreading area at the tool-workpiece interface. Therefore, palm oil can achieve the optimal lubrication effect.

      • GUI Reliability Assessment based on Bayesian Network and Structural Profile

        Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) is becoming increasingly important in the software field as it builds a friendly way between users and software through continuous interactions. A well-developed GUI is therefore an important factor of software quality. In particular, the reliability of GUIs is still on the way of development. Existing software reliability assessment techniques attempt to statistically describe the software testing process and predict the reliability of the system. However, those techniques are not suitable for GUI as quality of GUI is challenged by immense number of event interactions and complex structural profile etc. Furthermore, GUI has a wealth of information about GUI architecture, components, windows and their interactions with each other, which can be adopted to guide the testing process and establish confidence assessment of GUI. In this paper, a Bayesian network model of GUI reliability is introduced to discuss the reliability model topology and its issues encountered in the modeling process. A case is also presented to verify the validity of the model during the GUI reliability assessment process.

        This study is an experimental study on the spalling resistance of high performance concrete with PP fiber contents and material for lateral confinement. According to the results, spalling occurs to all specimens that do not contain PP fiber and it is prevented in the specimens containing PP fiber by more than 0.05% after heating, so it shows good effect on the spalling resistance. Variation of material kind for lateral confinement, metal lath shows the best effect on spalling resistance, and glass fiber and carbon fiber do not show good effect on the spalling resistance due to reduction of bond strength by high temperature. While the residual compressive strength shows about 80% of its original strength in the specimen confined laterally by PP fiber contents and metal lath, it decreases a bit in the range of 50~60% of its original strength because of reduction of the bond strength.

      • Achieving high mass loading of Na<sub>3</sub>V<sub>2</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>@carbon on carbon cloth by constructing three-dimensional network between carbon fibers for ultralong cycle-life and ultrahigh rate sodium-ion batteries

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The mass loading of the active materials in most flexible electrodes is relatively low, which greatly impedes their practical application. Here, we report a facile strategy to achieve high mass loading of Na<SUB>3</SUB>V<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>3</SUB>@carbon (NVP@C) supported on carbon cloth (NVP@C-CC) by a two-step coating followed by an annealing treatment and the resultant NVP@C-CC membrane can be used as a binder-free cathode for sodium ion batteries (SIBs). The NVP@C is not only uniformly anchored on the surface of carbon fibers of CC, but also filled between carbon fibers of CC in interconnected three-dimensional (3D) macroporous structure. It is because of the full use of the spaces between carbon fibers of CC that we achieve a high NVP@C mass loading. Thus-obtained NVP@C-CC exhibits excellent cyclability (82.0% capacity retention over 2000 cycles at 20C) and high rate capacity (96.8mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> at 100C and 69.9mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> at 200C) for sodium half cells and meanwhile the high mass loading of NVP@C on CC also endows the cell with fairly high energy and powder densities of 396Whkg<SUP>−1</SUP> and 97kWkg<SUP>−1</SUP>. Furthermore, it also presents superior cycling stability and rate performance when evaluated as full battery (NaTi<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>3</SUB>@C as the anode) cathode.       • Aberrant Expression of Pim-3 Promotes Proliferation and Migration of Ovarian Cancer Cells

        Pim kinase-3(Pim-3), a member of serine/threonine protein kinases, has been implicated in multiple human cancers and involved in Myc-induced tumorigenesis. However, little is known regarding its expression and biological function in human ovarian cancer. In this study we showed that the clinical significance and biological functions of Pim-3 in ovarian cancer and found that higher Pim-3 mRNA level are detected in ovarian cancer tissues than those in normal ovarian tissues. There are significant correlations between higher Pim-3 expression levels with the FIGO stage, histopathological subtypes, and distant metastasis in ovarian cancer patients. Lentivirus-mediated gene overexpression of Pim-3 significantly promotes the proliferation and migration of SKOV3 cell lines. Furthermore, MACC1 and Pim-3 expression were significantly correlated in human ovarian cancer cells, and overexpression of Pim-3 in ovary cancer cells increased MACC1 mRNA and protein expression. The data indicate that Pim-3 acts as a putative oncogene in ovary cancer and could be a viable diagnostic and therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.

        Prognostic value of preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in histological variants of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer

        Purpose: Many studies identified that the preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (PNLR) was associated with patient prognosis in non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). We hypothesized that PNLR could be prognostic in patients with histological variants of NMIBC (VH-NMIBC). Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included patients with VH-NMIBC admitted at our center between January 2009 and May 2019. The best cut-off value of NLR was measured by the receiver operating characteristic curve and Youden index. The Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazard regression models were employed to evaluate the association between PNLR and disease prognosis, including recurrence-free survival (RFS), progression-free survival (PFS), cancer-specific survival (CSS), and overall survival (OS). Results: A total of 243 patients with VH-NMIBC were enrolled in our study. According to the Kaplan-Meier method results, patients with PNLR ≥2.2 were associated with poor RFS (p<0.001), PFS (p<0.001), CSS (p<0.001), and OS (p<0.001). Multivariable analyses indicated that PNLR ≥ 2.2 was an independent prognostic factor of RFS (hazard ratio [HR], 2.11; 95% confidence interval [CI, 1.57–1.83; p<0.001), PFS (HR, 2.34; 95% CI, 1.70–3.21; p<0.001), CCS (HR, 2.87; 95% CI, 1.96–4.18; p< 0.001), and OS (HR, 2.83; 95% CI, 1.96–4.07; p<0.001). Conclusions: This study identified that PNLR ≥2.2 was usually associated with a poor prognosis for patients with VH-NMIBC.
