      • 위암환자의 복강내에 투여한 Mitomycin C-Carbon Particle의 Mitomycin 용출에 관한 연구

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherpy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. The Mitomycin C(MMC) adsorbed by the activated charcoal particles(CH) is relatively released when the drug concentration surrounding the carbon particles becomes low in the peritoneum of the peritoneal cavity. For the intraperitoneal chemotherapy on the advanced gastric adenocarcnoma, mitomycin C adsorbed on activated carbon particles was administered in the peritoneal cavity just before abdominal wall closure. The closed drainage tubes were inserted in the peritoneal cavity and clamped for tuo hours after completion of operation. MMC concentrations were serially measured in peritoneal fluid, plasma and urine at 2hour, 48 hour, 72 hour and 168 hour following its administration in order to study the efficacy of the MMC-CH as a drug delivery system. There were minimal toxicities in born marrow, liver, and gastrointestinal system after intraperitoneal MMC-CH administration. The data of this study suggested that MMC-CH may have a somewhat more beneficial effect than surgery alone when administered in optimal dose and schedules, but the MMC concentration of the peritoneal fluid was not sufficient to eradicate remnant cancer cells, and effective duration of maintenance was only below 24 hours in the peritoneal fluid and plasma.

        학령기 아동의 비만실태와 식습관 및 신체적 자기효능감에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to research the state of obesity of the elementary school students and to clarify the relation of their dietary habit and physical self-efficacy. The 5th and 6th grade students were chosen from each of A, B, C class groups of elements school in Pusan. For this study, 400 elementary school students(68 boys and 59 girls from A class group, 79 and 69 from B class of group, and 64 boys and 61 girls from Class of groups) were utilized as subjects. To measure means, Inbody 2.0, caliper, dietary habit and physical self-efficacy was measured by the questionnaire. The data were treated by One-way ANOVA, Post hoc test(Duncan test) with SAS program as statistical method. The level of significance of all hypotheses were tested by p<0.05. The result of this study was concluded as follows: 1. In case of male students, the greatest obesity was found in C class group, the lowest obesity was found in B class ground and A class group as order. However, in case of female students, B class group was found more obesity than other groups. 2. Students whose mothers had a job had shorter heights and more obesity than other students whose mother had not job. 3. In female students case, the highest dietary habit was found in B class group also, their mother seemed to concern nutrition more. 4. Students whose mothers had higher educational background seemed to take more protein and calcium than other students. 5. Students from high economic leveled home had a tend to take more milks, calcium, protein, vitamin and mineral. 6. Both obesity male students and female students had higher physical self-efficacy than non-obesity students. 7. Females students had higher physical self-efficacy than male students. This study showed that the education about dietary habit, exercise and obesity should be done continuously by teachers and parents, considering their regional condition. Through well-arranged programs, they have to help their children get to the goal, without hurting their minds.

      • 다결정 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 특성 향상을 위한 구조적 개선

        실리콘 고집적화와 대형화를 위해 실리콘 산화층과 동일한 조건으로 유리기판 위에 고상결정화(SPC)로층을 형성시켜서, 이층을 이용하여 제작한 n-채널 다결정 박막 트랜지스터(poly-Si TFT's)에 대해 전류-전압 특성을 측정하였다. 문제점으로 지적된 강한 kink 효과와 큰 누설전류를 개선하고자 제안된 LDD(Lightly Doped Drain)구조가 TFT에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 측정 결과로부터, 다결정 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터는 채널길이가 짧아짐에 따라, kink 효과는 심해졌고, 누설전류는 드레인 전압과 게이트 전압에 상당히 의존적이며, 낮은 게이트 바이어스하에서 채널길이에 영향을 받았다. 그러나, LDD구조로 제작함으로서 드레인 전계의 감소로 인하여 kink 전류와 누설전류가 상당히 감소하였다. 또한, LDD길이(△L)이 증가할수록 직렬 저항의 증가로 인하여 드레인 전류가 감소하나, 핫 캐리어에 의한 열화현상이 감소되기 때문에 적절한 △L를 결정해야 한다.

      • 노화가 인체 중간엽 줄기세포로부터 조골세포로의 증식 및 분화에 미치는 영향

        연구배경: 일반적으로 골다공증과 연관된 위험인자로는 연령, 폐경, 약물, 불충분한 칼슘섭취, 만성질환 및 운동부족 등이 있는데, 특히 노화가 진행할수록 골밀도가 감소하는 것은 잘 알려져 있다. 노화와 관련하여 진행되는 골소실은 조골세포 및 전구조골세포의 기능적 결핍에 의한 골형성의 감소가 주요한 요인으로 여겨지고 있다. 그 동안 연령이 조골모 세포의 양과 조골모 세포로부터 성숙조골세포로의 분화 및 증식에 미치는 영향에 대한 일부 보고들이 있었으나 아직 일치된 견해는 없는 형편이다. 방법: 다양한 연령의 사람으로부터 골수를 채취, 중간엽 줄기세포가 포함된 단핵세포를 분리한 후 조골세포로 분화하기 좋은 조건하에서 배양하였다. 대상군은다시 젊은군과 노령군으로 구분하여 다양한 변수를 비교 분석하였다. 일차배양에서는 CFU-F를 계수하여 골수내 중간엽 줄기세포의 수를 추산하였고, 칼슘측정을 통하여 기질의 무기화 정도를 비교하였다. 계대배양후 이차배양에서는 시기별로 알카리성 포스파타제 활성도를 측정하고 오스테오칼신 mRNA의 발현을 관찰하여 젊은군과 노령군 사이의 증식능 차이를 비교하였다. 또한 이차배양 시기별로 MTT 측정을 하여 양군간에 증식능 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 결과: 1. 일차배양 15일째에 평균 CFU-F의 수는 젊은군에서 유의하게 많았다(젊은군 148.3±28.9, 노령군 54.3±9.1, p=0.02). CFU-F의 평균면적은 젊은군에서 넓은 경향을 보였으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 2. 일차배양 17일 경과 후 양군간에 기질 칼슘 침착정도는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(젊은군 103.6±50.6, 노령군: 114.0±56.5, p=NS). 3. 이차배양 10일째에 젊은군에서 알카리성 포스파타제 활성도가 고령군에 비해 유의하게 높았다(젊은군: 935.5±115.0 U/mg, 노령군: 578.4±115.7U/mg,p.0.05). 고령군에서는 시간 경과에 따른 변화가 미약했으며 전반적으로 알카리성 포스파타제의 활성도가 젊은군에 비해 낮았다. 4. 이차배양도중 오스테오칼신 mRNA의 발현은 배양시기별로 젊은군에 비해 고령군에서 더 낮은 경향을 관찰할 수 있었다. 5. 이차배양 10일과 15일에 젊은군에서 노령군보다세포증식이 유의하게 증가된 양상을 보였다(10앓 젊은군 0.73±0.05, 노령군 0.58±0.04, p=0.05, 15일; 젊은군 0.80±0.05, 노령군 0.70±0.03, p=0.05).결론: 이상의 연구에서 저자들은 노령군에서 젊은군보다 골수 내 중간엽줄기세포의 수가 적고, 노령군에서 유래한 전구조골세포의 성숙조골세포로의 증식 및 분화가 젊은군 보다 감소해 있는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. Background: Osteoblasts originate from osteoprogenitor cells in bone marrow stroma, termed mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or bone marrow stromal cells. Each MSC forms colonies (colony forming units-fibroblasts [CFL-Fs]) when cultured ex vivo. There are some reports about the age-related changes of the number and osteogenic potential of osteoprogenitor cells, but any relationship has not been clearly established in humans. In this study, we counted MSCs using CFU-Fs count and examined the proliferative capacity and differentiation potential of osteoprogenitor cells. Finally, we analyzed how these parameters varied with donor age. Methods: Bone marrow was obtained from the iliac crest of young (n=6, 27.2±8.6 years old) and old (n= 10, 57.4k6.7 years old) healthy donors. Mononuclear cells, including MSCs, were isolated and cultured in osteogenic medium. In primary culture, we compared the colony-forming efficiency of MSCs between the two groups and determined the matrix calcification. When primary culture showed near confluence, the cells were subcultured. Alkaline phosphatase activity, osteocalcin expression by RT-PCR and proliferative potential by MTT assay were examined by the time course of secondary culture. Results: At the 15th day of primary culture, the mean number of CFU-Fs was significantly higher in the younger donors (young: 148.3±28.9, old: 54.3±9.1, p=0.02) and the mean size of CFL-Fs was also larger in the younger donors than the older donors. However, matrix calcification was not different between the two groups (young: 103.6±50.6, old: 114.0±56.5, p=NS). In secondary culture, alkaline phosphatase activities were significantly lower in the older donors. The younger donors showed peak alkaline phosphatase activity at day 10, while the older donors didn't showed a remarkable peak (young: 935.5±115.OU/mg, old: 578.4±115.7U/mg, p<0.05). Total cell number as a proliferative index increased progressively during the secondary culture and a significantly greater cell number was noted in the younger donors. Osteocalcin expression was generally upregulated in the younger donors, but this was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Our study shows that the number of osteoprogenitor cells is decreased during aging and that the proliferative capacity and differentiation potential of osteoprogenitor cells seem to be reduced during aging (J Kor SOC Endocrinol 18:296-305, 2003).

        As technology advances rapidly, emergency medical dispatching systems must also advance. Optimal emergency medical dispatching requires the courage to practice medicine at dispatch. Modern emergency medical dispatch provides appropriate resource responses with the use of an (Advanced Medical priority Dispatch System(AMPDS) in U.S.A. The AMPDS is a systematic protocol for all aspects of the dispatch process. Based on the AMPDS chief complaint list, we initiated a basic design on pre-arrival instruction protocol and completed the scripted pre-arrival instruction protocol, using Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) protocol. Implementation of this study creates computerized emergency medical dispatching system for future enhancements, such as the AMPDS.

As we analyze the examples of construction delay and reopening into various types, to minimize construction delay after the dishonor of a contractor we propose "Cooperation and reliance fixing between the contract parties through the improvement of order method, Contracting system and Construction management system".

      • 가우시안 데이터에 대한 개선된 신경회로망과 코호넨 자기 조직화 특징 지도 성능 비교 연구

        Kohonen Self-Organizing Feature Map is widely used as a self-organizing neural network. This neural network uses a modified Kohonen learning rule which updates weights of both a winner and its neighborhood. But this learning rule can produce the underutilization problem. This paper presents both a neural network architecture and a learning rule which solve the underutilization problem. This neural network architecture is based on the combination of ART-1 neural network and Kohonen Self-Organzing Feature Map. A fuzzy learning rule is based on both a fuzzification of modified Kohonen learning rule and a fuzzification of the conditional probability. The Gaussian distributed data are generated and used to compare the performance of the Improved IAFC neural network and Kohonen Self-Organizing Feature Map.

        The input voltage of Single-sided linear induction motors (SLIMs) is involved with the time harmonics because most LIM is driven by inverter. Therefore the equivalent circuit for an inverter-fed SLIM has t o be modifided to represent every harmonic present in supply voltage. This paper describes that the dynamic characteristic can be used effectively for analyzing the characteristics of a single-sided linear induction motor using vector driver for PI controller.

      • 생체분해성 망막압정을 이용한 망막고정에 대한 실험적 연구

        Biodegradable retinal fixation devices obtain mechnical fixation of the retina with desirable chorioretinal scarring and with the potential for local, sustained release of antimetabolites and steroids to inhibit proliferative vitreoretinopathy. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack with barb that was designed in order to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. This study was carried to evaluate the efficacy for retinal fixation and the capability for sustained release of drugs with a newly designed biodegradable retinal tack Biodegradable retinal tacks were made of polymers of glycolic acids and were designed with barbs in a shape to prevent the disinsertion. Biodegradale retinal tacks are divided into 3 parts, a conical portion that is inserted into the sclera, a cylinder portion that remains in the vitreous, and a neck portion between the pin and the cylinder. The tapered conical end was manufactured to allow easy insertion through the retina and choroid into the sclera. A cylinder portion was manufactured with a tapered angle that fixes firmly into the orifice of 19 gauge spinal needle. A neck portion, 0.4 mm in diameter, was designed to prevent disinsertion from following implantation of retinal tack. The applicator was a 19 gauge spinal needle and its orifice was prepared to 15°angle to accept the tapered cylinder portion of the retinal tack. The retinal tacks, secured in the needles, were passed through the formed vitreous and inserted into the retina, choroid, and sclera and were released by pushing the internal needle, usually within 2-3mm of the medullary ray of the posterior rabbit retina A retinal tack was placed in each of 8 pigmented rabbit eyes. Slit-lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy and fundus photography were performed periodically from 1 day to 8 weeks after surgery. Eight eyes were enucleated and studied by light microscopy at 8 weeks. Biomicroscopic evaluation of the animals revealed edemas adjacent to the retinal surfaces immediately after insertion of the biodegradable retinal tacks in all the animals. These edemas disappeared after 1 week. The first noticeable change in the size of retinal tacks was shown after 2weeks. The size of the retinal tacks gradually got smaller, decreasing to about one-half at 4 weeks and about one-third at 8 weeks. All retinal tacks remained in inserted places without any movement for an 8 week period. On light microscopy, epiretinal proliferations were seen to extend into the vitreous cavity. Cellular capsules that lined the inner aspect of the scleral defect caused by tack insertion were found. However the adjacent retina had a normal cytologic appearance and architecture in all specimens. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack that is designed to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. All biodegradable retinal tacks reduce in size with time, but no retinal tacks extruded from the inserted place. The newly designed biodegradable retinal tack can be used for retinal fixation and may be used as a vehicle for the introduction of pharmacologic agents to prevent the cellular events that promote proliferative vitreoretinopathy.

        화재감지센서용 PZN-PSS-PZT계 초전재료의 전기적 특성에 미치는 MnO₂첨가제의 영향

        In this study, the effect of MnO_2 additive on the electrical characteristics of PZN-PSS-PZT Pyroelectric materials for the fire detactor was studies. PZT ceramics used this experimental is 4 composite system [Pb(Zn_1/3 Nb_2/3)O_3 +Pb(Sn_1/3 Sb_2/3)O_3+PbTiO_3+PbZrO_3]. The dielectric constants and dissipation factors decreases as to MnO_2 concentration increases. At the MnO_2 0.5(ωt%), Pyroelectric coefficient shows 8(10^-8C/cm^2℃) which have the highst value among other additive contents. It is found that output voltage maximum peck at MnO_2 0.7(ωt%) is associated with the higher pyroelectric coefficient and Lowered dielectric constant.
