        연령이 다른 흰쥐에 Bromobenzene 투여가 간 손상에 미치는 영향

        연령이 다른 흰쥐에 있어서 bromobenzene에 의한 간 손상의 정도 차이와 이의 기전을 알아보기 위하여 5주령 및 10주령 흰쥐에 bromobenzene을 체중 kg당 400mg을 격일로 5회 전처치함과 동시에 bromobenzene 전처치 및 대조군에 bromobenzene을 다시 투여한 뒤 처치하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Bromobenzene 전처치로 인한 간 무게, 혈청 alanine aminotransferase, xanthine oxidase 활성 및 간 조직중 과산화지질의 함량 증가율과 간 세포질의 단백질 감소율은 10주령군이 5주령군 보다 높았다. 이 결과는 10주령이 5주령 보다 bromobenzene 투여로 인한 간 손상이 심하게 나타남을 시사해 주고 있다. 한편, 간 조직 중 aniline hydroxylase 활성은 10주령에 있어서 bromobenzene 전처치군 및 대조군 모두 5주령 보다 높게 나타나는 반면 glutathione S-transferase 활성은 10주령이 5주령 보다 낮게 나타났다. 또한 이들 실험동물에 bromobenzene을 재 투여한 다음 경시별로 간 조직 중 glutathione 함량을 측정한 바 10주령이 5주령 보다 glutathione 감소율이 낮게 나타났다. 이상 실험결과를 종합해 볼 때 bromobenzene 투여시 10주령이 5주령 실험군 보다 간 손상이 심하게 나타났으며, 이는 생체내의 bromobenzene처리능력이 5주령 보다 10주령이 저하되기 때문에 나타난 결과라고 사료된다. To evaluate an effect of growth periods on the bromobenzene-induced liver damage, bromobenzene was administrated to 5-week-old rats and 10-week-old rats pretreated with bromobenzene 5 times every other day for 10 days and then the animals were sacrificed. The results were obtained as follows; The increasing rate of serum levels of alanine aminotransferase, xanthine oxidase activity, hepatic lipid peroxide contents, liver weight per body weight (%) and decreasing rate of hepatic contents of protein to each control group were higher in 10-week-old rats than 5-week-old rats by the pretreatment of bromobenzene. According to the above results, 10-week-old rats indicated more severe liver injury than 5-week-old those in case of bromobenzene pretreatment. On the other hand, hepatic aniline hydroxylase activity was more increased in 10-week-old rats than 5-week-old rats both in control and bromobnezene pretreated rats where as the reverse in hepatic glutathione S-transferase. In case of hepatic GSH determination at the intervals of 2, 4, 8, 24 hours throughout 24 hr after administration of single dose of bromobenzene to 5-week-old and 10-week-old rats both in control and bromobnezene pretreated, the rate of GSH utilization was lower in 10-week-old rats than 5-week-old rats. In conclusion, from the above experimental, it is deduce that the 10-week-old rats showed more severe liver injury than 5-week-old rats by the bromobenzene treatment because the disposal ability of bromobenzene in liver was lower in 10-week-old rats than 5-week-old rats.

        차세대 통신 시스템에서 공통적으로 요구하는 소형화, 광대역화, 집적화추세에 따라 RF소자는 광대역화, 소형화, 집적화를 향해 발전하고 있으며 안테나 기술도 현재 추세에 발맞추어 소형화, 능동집적화, 광대역화를 통하여 개발 방향을 모색하고 있다. 본고에서는 현재 추세인 소형 안테나, 능동 안테나와 더불어 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 임펄스 통신에 이용될 수 있는 초광대역 안테나 기술에 대해 소개한다. The technical trends of the next generation wireless communication are miniaturization, broad-band operation, and integration. Thus, in accordance with this trend, RF devices and components are being developed in such way, and same with the antenna. In this paper, technology of small antenna, active antenna, and ultra wideband antenna, which can be applied to impulse communication system, are introduced.

      • 주제학습을 통한 ICT 활용 교육 모형 개발

        In coming 21st century, which is forecasted that it will be a knowledge-information oriented society, abilities of information acquirements are required. For this, the Ministry of Education has been encouraging the business of information oriented school education and promoting application of ICT more than 10% in all classes of the 7th curriculum. Moreover, after extending applied classes into 20% by 2005, the Ministry of Education will promote editing textbooks by subjects reflecting the content of ICT application. But, actually, classes applied ICT aren't fulfilled in education fields. The main reason for this is that teachers don't understand fully ICT application model. On the basis of the preceding studies, this study designed subject-settlement class model to develop students' abilities of information acquirements. The subject-settlement class model is made up of 5 steps--confirmation of studying subjects, searching information and collecting, using information, arrangement of results, communication of information, and evaluation. By experiencing search of information, arrangement of information and creation of new information, the application of this model helps the students develop abilities of information acquirements. Nowadays, development of information communication and of computer makes the world change from information oriented society into knowledge oriented society. Future society will focus on the ability of production to create knowledge information. This study is the result presented as a part of the ability of creating information. Furthermore, the development of various learning and teaching models, which are required in information oriented age, are expected.

      • 비글개에서 l-muscone의 급성독성 및 아급성독성시험 연구

        Single and 4 weeks oral administration of l-muscone, a major active ingredient of musk, to beagle dogs of both sexes were performed to investigate both acute and subacute toxicity. Beagle dogs(3 males and 3 females) in acute experiments were administered orally with single dosage of 2,000 ㎎/㎏ and groups of 9 male and 9 female beagle dogs in subacute experiments were given daily different dosage of l-muscone, 0.2㎎/㎏/day(low dosage group), 2 ㎎/㎏/day(middle dosage group), or 20 ㎎/㎏day(high dosage group) once a day for 4 weeks by oral route according to the Established Regulation of Korean Food and Drug Administration(1996.4.16). LD_50 value for beagle dogs was more than 2,000 ㎎/㎏ on oral route for both male and females. In animals administered with l-muscone, there were neither dead animals nor significant changes of body weights. In addition, no differences were found between control and treated groups in clinical signs, urinalysis, eye examination, hematology, serum chemistry, organ weight and other findings. No histolopathological lesions were observed in both control and treatment groups. Above data strongly suggest that l-muscone in beagle dogs is considered to be safe.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

        In large space such as a gymnasium, the supplied air is heated by air handling unit in winter. In that case the heated air goes to the upper area. We used the nozzle fan in order to improve the indoor air distribution, and the air flow characteristics and the temperature fields in the space are analyzed by computer simulation.

        KLEINE-LEVIN 증후군 2례

        The Kleine-Levin syndrome is composed of recurring episodes of sleepiness lasting days, associated with excessive appetite and often with abnormal behavior. The authors reported two cases of the Kleine-Levin syndrome. The results were as follows: 1. They were adolescent male patients. 2. The onsets were predisposed by psychological stresses of school examinations. 3. Their electroencephalograms revealed abnormal findings only during episodes of hypersomnolence. 4. One of them was improved by treatment with imipramine and lithium.

      • 코발트 프탈로시아닌 촉매를 이용한 메탄올의 연소특성

        The catalytic combustion of methanol as a model volatile organic compound has been investigated over metallo-phthalocyanine(PC) catalysts in a fixed bed flow reactor system at atmospheric pressure. The catalytic activity was examined with reaction temperature: 200∼350℃, methanol(CH3OH): 2.29∼2.35mole% in air, contact time(W/F):0.62∼3.11 g-cat·hr/g-mol. The order of catalytic activity is summarized as follows: metal free-PC<Zn-PC<Fe-PC<Cu(a)-PC<Co-PC. The pretreated cobalt phthalocyanine catalysts have been characterised by TG/DTA. EA and XRD analysis. The catalytic activity pretreated with air and methanol mixture, 450℃, 1hr was very excellent. Under this pretreatment condition, the change from cobalt phthalocyanine(Co-PC) catalyst to new cobalt metal oxide(Co3O4) was confirmed by EA and XRD analysis. This cobalt metal oxide has high catalytic activity on methanol combustion.

      • 금속-프탈로시아닌 촉매의 물리.화학적 특성

        Physico-chemical properties of metal-phthalocyanines(PC) with several pretreatment conditions were characterized by TG/DTA, EA, UV-Vis, SEM and XRD analysis. Also, catalytic activities of metal-phthalocyanines with pretreatment conditions were examined by methanol combustion. The effect of pretreatment conditions on catalytic activity was discussed in this paper. The catalytic activity of metal-phthalocyanine pretreated with air and CH₃OH, mixture at 450℃ for 1hr was excellent. Under this pretreatment condition, the basic structures of Cu(α)-PC and Co-PC were destroyed, and formed a new metal oxides such as CuO and CO₃O₄, respectively. But Zn-PC was retained its basic structure in this pretreatment condition. The order of catalytic activity on methanol combustion was summarized as follow: Co-PC> Cu(α)-PC> Fe-PC> Zn-PC.

      • VOC 연소에 대한 구리 프탈로시아닌의 촉매활성

The catalytic activity for pretreatment effect was examined at reaction temperature: 200~380℃, methanol: 2.35mol% in air, contact time (W/F): 3.11g-cat.hr/g-mol. The pretreated copper phthalocyanine catalysts have been characterised by TG/DTA, XRD, FT-IR and EA analysis. The catalytic activity pretreated with air and Ch₃OH mixture, 450℃, 1hr was very excellent. Under this pretreatment condition, the change from copper phthalocyanine catalyst as organic metal to some new copper oxide was confirmed by various instrumental analysis. Also, the order of catalytic activity is summarized as follows: metal free-PC<Cu(α)-PC<Cu(β)-PC.
