소프트웨어 산업의 급성장에 의해 소프트웨어의 재사용에 대한 요구는 더욱 증가하고 있다. 현재 객체지향 패러다임보다 더 큰 재사용의 규모를 가지는 컴포넌트 기술이 업계에서 점차 각광을 받고있다. 본 논문에서는 객체지향 언어인 자바언어를 기반으로 개발된 어플리케이션을 자바 분산 컴포넌트 기술인 EJB 기반의 어플리케이션으로 전환하는 기법을 소개하고, 컴포넌트 단위로 구성된 클래스들을 EJB의 빈으로 매핑하는 기법을 제시한다.
Linearly-polarized White-light-emitting OLEDs Using Photon Recycling

We herein report on the production of efficient polarized white electroluminescence (EL) from an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), which was fabricated using an achromatic quarter-wave retardation plate (QWP) film and a giant birefringent optical (GBO) photonic reflective polarizer. Luminous polarized white EL light of 14,600 cd/m^2, with a high peak efficiency (>18 cd/A), was produced from a polarized white OLED that was fabricated using this method. These values are almost double those achieved by using a similar white OLED with only a polarizer film. Furthermore, the ratio of linear polarization obtained was about 35:1 over the whole range of brightness of the white EL emission.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a heterogeneous disease and responses to therapies are highly variable. The aim of this study was to identify the predictors of pulmonary function response to 3 months of treatment with salmeterol/fluticasone in patients with COPD. A total of 127 patients with stable COPD from the Korean Obstructive Lung Disease (KOLD) Cohort, which were prospectively recruited from June 2005 to September 2009, were analyzed retrospectively. The prediction models for the FEV1, FVC and IC/TLC changes after 3 months of treatment with salmeterol/fluticasone were constructed by using multiple, stepwise, linear regression analysis. The prediction model for the FEV1change after 3 months of treatment included wheezing history, pre-bronchodilator FEV1, post-bronchodilator FEV1 change and emphysema extent on CT (R = 0.578). The prediction models for the FVC change after 3 months of treatment included prebronchodilator FVC, post-bronchodilator FVC change (R = 0.533), and those of IC/TLC change after 3 months of treatment did pre-bronchodilator IC/TLC and postbronchodilator FEV1 change (R = 0.401). Wheezing history, pre-bronchodilator pulmonary function, bronchodilator responsiveness, and emphysema extent may be used for predicting the pulmonary function response to 3 months of treatment with salmeterol/fluticasone in patients with COPD.

We present the results of a study of the polarizing photovoltaic (PV) effects in an aligned polymer bulk heterojuction PV layer. The fairly uniform in-plane uniaxial alignment of the PV layer with a macroscopic axial orientational order parameter of 0.40 was achieved by means of a simple rubbing technique. Moreover, reflective polarizing PSCs having the aligned PV layers were applied to power-generating reflective type liquid crystal displays (LCDs), which exhibited a maximum contrast ratio of 1.7. These results form a promising foundation for various energy harvesting polarization dependent opto-electrical LCD device applications.

We herein report an investigation of aqueous solution-processable molybdenum-oxide (MoO3)hole-selective layers fabricated for solution-processable organic semiconducting devices. A homogeneousMoO3 layer was successfully deposited via spin-coating using aqueous solutions of ammoniumheptamolybdate as a MoO3 precursor. The use of the solution-processable MoO3 layer asa hole-injecting layer (HIL) on an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) anode in solution-processable organiclight-emitting diodes (OLEDs) resulted in excellent device performance in terms of the brightness(maximum brightness of 37,000 cd m−2) and the efficiency (peak efficiency of 25.2 cd A−1),comparable to or better than those of a reference OLED with a conventional poly(ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) HIL. Such good device performance is attributedto the water-processable MoO3 hole-selective layers, which allowed the formation of a high-qualityfilm and provided good matching of the energy levels between adjacent layers with improved holeinjectingproperties, impedance characteristics, and stability. Furthermore, polymer solar cells(PSCs) with a MoO3 layer used as a hole-collecting layer (HCL) showed improved power conversionefficiency (3.81%), which was higher than that obtained using the PEDOT:PSS HCL. These resultsclearly indicate the benefits of using a water-processable MoO3 layer, which effectively acts as ahole-selective layer on an ITO anode and provides good hole-injection/collection, electron-blockingand energy-level-matching properties, and improved stability. They, therefore, offer considerablepromise as an alternative to a conventional PEDOT:PSS layer in the production of high-performancesolution-processable organic semiconducting devices.

We herein report an investigation of the effect of rough thin films of SiO2 granules deposited on glass substrates of organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) by using a simple, low-cost and scalable process based on a powder spray of SiO2 granules in vacuum, known as the aerosol-deposition method, with regard to their external light-extraction capabilities. The rough and hazy thin SiO2 films produced by using aerosol-deposition and acting as scattering centers were able to efficiently reduce the light-trapping loss in the glass substrate (glass mode) for internally-generated photons and to enhance the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the OLEDs. Based on aerosol-deposited silica films with a thickness of 800 nm and a haze of 22% on glass substrates, the EQE of phosphorescent green OLEDs was found to be enhanced by 17%, from an EQE of 7.0% for smooth bare glass substrates to an EQE of 8.2%. Furthermore, the EQEs of fluorescent blue and phosphorescent red OLEDs were shown to be enhanced by 16%, from an EQE of 3.7% to 4.3%, and by 16%, from an EQE of 9.3% to 10.8%, respectively. These improvements in the EQEs without serious changes in the emission spectra or the Lambertian emitter property clearly indicate the high potential of the aerosol-deposition technique for the realization of highly-efficient light extraction in colorful OLED lighting.

We introduced sensitizing dyes into the bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic (PV) layer of polymer solar cells (PSCs). The sensitizing dyes doped were Bis(tetra butyl ammonium) cis-dithio cyanato bis(2,2'-bipyridine-4-carboxylicacid-4'-carboxylate) ruthenium (II) (N719 dye) and the BHJ PV layer used was made of poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and phenyl $C_{61}$-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). It was found that the N719 dyes increase the photovoltaic performance, i.e., increasing open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current density with improved fill factor. For the P3HT:PCBM PV cells doped with the N719 dyes (0.24 wt%), an increase in power conversion efficiency of 4.0% was achieved, compared to that of the control cells (3.6%) without the N719 dyes.
