        한의학 임상실습교육을 위한 인공지능 기반 환자 챗봇의 사용성과 교육적 효과성

        Objectives : This study developed an AI-based patient chatbot and examined the usability and educational effectiveness of the chatbot in the context of Korean medicine education. Methods : The patient chatbot was developed using the AI chatbot builder 'Danbee', and a total of five experts were surveyed and interviewed to determine the usability, effectiveness, advantages, disadvantages, and improvement points of the chatbot. Results : The patient chatbot was found to have high usability and educational effectiveness. The advantages of the patient chatbot were 1) it provided students with practical experience in performing clinical skills, 2) it provided instructors with assessment materials while reducing their teaching burden, and 3) it could be effectively used for horizontal and vertical integration education. The disadvantages and improvements of the patient chatbot were 1) improving the accuracy of intention inference, 2) providing students with specific instructions for problem-solving activities, and 3) providing assessment results and feedback about students’ activities. Conclusions : This study is significant in that it proposes a new training method to overcome the limitations of the existing doctor-patient simulation. It is hoped that this study will stimulate further research on the improvement of students’ clinical skills using artificial intelligence.

        천연소재를 활용한 백내장의 저장성 증진 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the ability of natural antioxidants as stabilizers for meat by-products to prevent lipid oxidation. The white internal organs were evaluated using different treatments: no antioxidant (control), ascorbic acid (T1), Artemisiacapillaris Thunb. (T2), Opuntia (T3), Schisandra chinensis (T4), and Saururuschinensis (Lour.) Baill (T5). Antioxidant activities were analyzed by measuring DPPH contents, superoxide anion radical levels, nitrate scavenging activities, and total polyphenol contents. T1 and T2 showed higher antioxidant activities and total polyphenol contents (p<0.05). Additionally, changes in physicochemical properties (pH, color, volatile basic nitrogen [VBN], and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances [TBARS]) and microbiological aspects in white internal organs processed with antioxidants were investigated. As storage time increased, the CIE a* and b* values of the white internal organs processed with natural antioxidants were decreased (p<0.05), and CIE L* values were low, particularly for the T3 sample relative to that in the control. Moreover, the pH, VBN, and TBARS values of samples T2–T5 were increased after 7 days of storage, but showed low values compared with those of the control (p<0.05). Moreover, compared with the control group, the treatments showed antimicrobial effects. Our results indicated that these natural antioxidants could be used as lipid oxidation stabilizers of meat by-products during storage and that Artemisiacapillaris Thunb. and Opuntia may have applications as natural antioxidants in the meat by-product industry.

        가정에서 냉장보관 중인 소시지에서의 Listeria monocytogenes에 대한 성장 예측 모델 개발

        In household food safety management, it has been realized that the control of cooling storage temperature is crucial, particularly, for unpacked products. Therefore, we developed and tested a prediction model for the growth of Listeria monocytogenes in refrigerated cooked sausage in the household after unpacking. We studied the growth of L. monocytogenes as a function of temperature (0, 5, 10, and 15℃) and storage time (0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 days). The results revealed that the Baranyi model was a suitable predictive model for determining L. monocytogenes growth. The Baranyi model was found to be highly accurate, as the experimentally determined R2 (0.9991), root mean squared error (RMSE, 0.0563), accuracy factor (Af, 1.0125), and bias factor (Bf, 0.9997) could be approximated from the primary model. Further, based on the primary model, we developed a secondary polynomial model, which could predict the parameters lag time (LT, R2=0.9597) and maximum specific growth rate (SGR, R2=0.9465) with high accuracy. Thus, the Baranyi model can be successfully used to generate input variables in exposure assessment for conducting quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) for L. monocytogenes in refrigerated cooked sausage in the household after unpacking.

        Metabolic effects of polycystic ovary syndrome in adolescents

        Purpose: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by hyperandrogenic anovulation in women of reproductive age. We investigated the metabolic effects of lean and overweight adolescents with PCOS. Methods: Anthropometric measurements and biochemical parameters were evaluated in 49 adolescents with PCOS and 40 age- and body mass index (BMI)- matched controls. We further divided both PCOS and control groups into those having BMI within the normal range of less than 85th percentile and those being overweight and obese with a BMI greater than 85th percentile. Results: Hemoglobin, gamma-glutamyl transferase (r-GT), total cholesterol, lowdensity lipoprotein-cholesterol and 2-hour postglucose load plasma insulin levels were significantly elevated in the lean PCOS group than in the lean control group. In the overweight/obese PCOS group, hemoglobin and r-GT levels were significantly elevated than in the overweight/obese control group. In the normal weight group, none of the subjects had metabolic syndrome according to the Adult Treatment Panel III criteria, but the incidence of metabolic syndrome in the overweight/obese PCOS group was 8.3% and that in the overweight/obese control group was 6.7%. Conclusion: PCOS in adolescents causes metabolic abnormalities, underscoring the importance of early diagnosis of PCOS in oligomenorrheic adolescents.

        인터넷 방송 플랫폼에서의 다크패턴 사례에 대한 사용자 연구 -라이브 방송 중심으로-

        The recent advancement of the Internet accelerated the ‘Independent media’ industry and the internet broadcasting platform market is growing steadily over the world. In response, companies are widely using ‘dark pattern design’, which intentionally induces participation and immersion by transforming services in various ways to secure more viewers and make them invest more money and time than they expected. However, the research on dark pattern design is at an initial stage with insufficient research. Therefore, this study aims to find out the user’s perception according to different types of dark patterns in the Internet broadcasting platform. Cases were analyzed mainly on ‘YouTube’, ‘Twitch’, and ‘Afreeca TV’, the most representative commercialized Internet broadcasting platforms and selected 8 different types of dark patterns seen in live broadcasting through prior literature. In order to measure the degree of dependent variable on how people feel on each type, the 10 different types of video scenario prototypes were made for experiment. Then, one-way ANOVA was used to verify the research problem. This study focuses on the user perception according to different types of dark patterns shown in internet broadcasting platforms which are not dealt with much in current domestic research. In addition, the statistical differences in user perception and emotion on different types of dark patterns are found through the experiment and derived significant insights through additional interviews. It is hoped that this study will contribute to the establishment of a healthier internet broadcasting platform service, and it is expected to be used as foundation for future dark pattern design research.

        고화질 영상시청 경험이 코로나-19(COVID-19)로 인한 외상 후 스트레스(PTSD) 개선에 미친 영향 연구 : 영상시청 자극에 대한 회복탄력성과 뇌파 생체신호 분석을 중심으로

        본 연구는 코로나-19(COVID-19)로 인한 외상 후 스트레스(PTSD)를 경험하는 대상자들에게 경관 영상시청이 정서 및 생리적 개선 효과를 유도하는지 확인하는 파일럿차원의 실험연구이다. 외상 후 스트레스 대상자 판별은 임상심리 전문가의 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 선발하였다. 자극도구로 사용된 영상은 해외와 국내에서 실험을 위해촬영된 초고화질 영상물(4K)로 UHD-TV를 사용하였다. 자극 영상물에 대한 처치(촬영과 편집 조건, 영상실험 조건)는 2019~2021년 실시된 영상치료 연구소(Screen Therapy) 연구팀의 영상설계를 적용하였다. 피험자들에게 4주간의 영상 시청 경험을 제공하고 사전과 사후에 작성한 설문과 뇌파(EEG) 생체신호를 측정하여 데이터 분석을 시도하였다. 자기보고식 설문인 ‘회복탄력성’ 측정의 결과는 사전에 비해 사후 평균 수치가 증가하였지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 뇌파 생체신호의 측정 결과, 사전 측정시에는 좌뇌와 우뇌 측두엽 부위인T3와 T4부위의 알파(Absolute Aplha)파가 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보일 정도로 좌뇌의 알파파 수치가 높은 것이 확인되었다. 그러나 4주간의 영상시청 후 좌뇌의 알파파수치의 감소를 확인할 수 있었고 좌우뇌의 T3와 T4각 부위의 알파파 평균은 비슷한 수준으로 수치는 균형을 이루었다. 본 연구는 영상 시청이 외상 후 스트레스와 같은 정서적 어려움을 경험하는 개인의생리적 문제 중 하나인 좌우 뇌의 불균형 지수 감소에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 가능성을발견한 연구라는 점에서 의의가 있다. 특히 고통스러운 기억 이미지를 대체하는 심상이미지로서 혼합된 경관 이미지의 영상 콘텐츠를 활용하는 방법이 외상 후 트라우마 임상군에게 어떠한 영향을 미칠 수 있는지를 확인할 수 있었다. This study is a pilot-level experimental study to determine whether watching landscape videos induces emotional and physiological improvement effects in subjects experiencing post-traumatic stress (PTSD) due to COVID-19. Post-traumatic stress subjects were selected using a structured questionnaire from a clinical psychology expert. The image used as a stimulating tool was an ultra-high-definition image (4K) taken for experiments abroad and domestically, and UHD-TV was used.The treatment of the stimulus video (filming and editing conditions, video experiment conditions) applied the video design of the Screen Therapy research team conducted from 2019 to 2021. The subjects were provided with a four-week video viewing experience, and data analysis was attempted by measuring the pre- and post-written questionnaires and EEG biosignals. The results of the ‘resilience’ measurement, a self-report questionnaire, showed that the average value after the test increased compared to the test beforehand, but it was not statistically significant. As a result of measuring brain wave biosignals, it was confirmed that the alpha wave level in the left brain was high enough to show a statistically significant difference between the alpha (Absolute Aplha) waves in the T3 and T4 regions, which are the temporal lobes of the left and right brains, during the preliminary measurement. However, after watching the video for 4 weeks, a decrease in alpha wave levels in the left hemisphere was confirmed, and the average alpha wave levels in each region of the left and right brains T3 and T4 were at similar levels and the values were balanced. This study is significant in that it discovered the possibility that watching videos can help reduce the imbalance between the left and right brain, which is one of the physiological problems of individuals experiencing emotional difficulties such as post-traumatic stress. In particular, it were able to see how the method of using video content of mixed landscape images as a mental image to replace painful memory images could have an impact on the post-traumatic trauma clinical group.

        국내 의학교육 연구 동향 분석과 경영학적 고찰

        This study conducted a trends analysis of research on medical education in Korea. The PRISMA methodology was applied to select the literature, and a total of 217 articles were analyzed for research trends and themes. The results showed that the number of medical education studies has steadily increased over the past decade. Medical education research has been conducted in the fields of medicine, education, humanities and social sciences, and history. In terms of topics, research on curriculum, educational methods, and educational history has increased, but research on educational goals, status, and evaluation has fluctuated up and down, and research on educational administration has been consistently low. Future research needs included design and validation of educational research, promotion of medical education research, and development of medical education faculty competencies. The significance of this study is that it investigated the current status and trends of research and suggested future research directions for the development of medical education. It is hoped that this study will encourage medical education research in new areas and topics.
