백하수오(白何首烏)의 항산화활성(抗酸化活性)과 amino acid의 분포(分布)에 관한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

The aim of the presents study is to investigate and compare the antioxidative effects and qualities of the cultivating root of Cynanchum Wilfori, which is increasingly used in recent days, with those of the wilding root, which has mainly been used in the past in oriental medicine for a tonic and also for prevention and treatment of various geriatric diseases including aging progress. For comparison of their antioxidative effects, the activities of the total extracts on lipid peroxidation and the activity of aldehyde oxidase(EC 1.2.3.1) as well as xanthine oxidase(EC 1.2.3.2) were investigated in vitro. In addition, their inhibitory effects on the activity of 5-lipoxygenase, which is known to induce inflammation and concerned with free radicals, were also determined in vitro. Furthermore, the amino acid contents of both roots were analyzed in order to compare their qualities. The results are as follows: 1. The wilding root inhibited significantly the activity of 5-lipoxygenase, showing five times more portent than the cultivating root. 2. Both of the wilding root and the cultivating root inhibited aldehyde oxidase activity in a dose-dependant manner. The wilding root was more effective than the other. 3. Both of the wilding root and the cultivating root dose-dependently suppressed lipid peroxidation in rat brain, kidney, and liver. 4. The anti-peroxidative effects of both roots appeared to be most strong in brain and least in liver. In particular, the cultivating root exhibited a significant inhibition on brain lipid peroxidation. 5. The cultivating root contained 15 amino acids including five essential amino acids in contrast with the less contents in the wilding root.

Mineral oil is the most widely used to insulation material of transformer because of the long experience and low cost. Although mineral oil has many advantages, it posses fire hazard when it use in the buildings. Thirty years ago, fire resistant hydrocarbon fluids and mold transformer were developed such as PCBs, Silicone oil, HMWH and Cast resin transformer. Cast resin transformer is widely used in the almost buildings in Korea. Recently, the application of ester fluids have been reported. This paper compares to advantages and disadvantages of the cast resin and ester fluid transformers.

We developed a novel method of partial discharge(PD) location based on the fact that the waveform of PD signal propagate along the GIB(Gas Insulated Bus) is composed of several modes of electromagnetic wave with different group velocities and cut-off frequencies. From the PD waveform, measured at a broadband PD sensor attached on the GIB, we could derive arrival time and frequency components of different modes using the short term Fourier transform or etc. After the group velocities of different modes are calculated, the location of the PD source could be estimated. To show the effectiveness of this new locating method in a real on site application, we used this method to locate the position of a PD source at a 76 m long 345 ㎸ GIB substation. The estimated location of the PD source using the method proposed above was in good agreement with the actual location found from the inspection result of internal component in the GIB with 2.4 % of the estimation error.

We report the characteristics and differences of two types of attenuation measurement methods for electromagnetic partial discharge signal in GIS. The pulse method is to measure the attenuated waveforms in time domain and coverts them into frequency domain to get the attenuation spectra of given GIS section. This method simulates the real partial discharge signal. The frequency swept continuous wave method can obtain attenuation spectra directly so that it gives attenuation with low noise floor and simplicity. We show that both methods are effective and exchangeable because the attenuation results measured by two methods have similar trends.

We measured the permittivity and electromagnetic wave propagation velocity of used insulation oil with wide frequency range including ultra-high frequency by time domain reflectometry. The permittivity or propagation velocity is essential for locating discharge faults of oil filled power transformer. We derived 2.21 as a permittivity and 2.03 × 10? ㎧ as a velocity from the measurement of pulse travelling time along a coaxial line filled with used insulation oil or air. The permittivity measurement system we designed shows high measurement accuracy and the convenience for field use.

This paper describes the characteristics of electromagnetic wave propagation in power transformer. A transformer which is similar to 154 kV single phase on-site transformer unit was provided for the purpose of the experiment. The 12 dielectric windows on the transformer enclosure to install UHF (ultra high frequency) sensors and the full scale mock ups of winding and the core were also equipped in the transformer. Every sensors to be installed to the transformer was tested and verified whether they show same characteristics or not before the experiment. A discharge gap which was used as a PD (partial discharge) source moved to several necessary locations in the transformer to simulate dielectric defects. Propagation times of electromagnetic wave signal from PD source to sensors decided by the routes of both reflection phenomenon and diffraction phenomenon were compared each other. The experimental results showed propagation route of the PD signal makes an effect on the frequency spectrum of front part of the signal and the magnitude of the signal and propagation time of the signal when the signal is captured on the sensor.
화소와 히스토그램 정보를 이용한 샷 전환 탐지 알고리즘

비디오 데이터를 효율적으로 검색, 정렬, 탐색, 분류하기 위해서는 프레임 간의 샷 전환 탐지가 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 비디오 데이터의 샷 전환 탐지를 위해 비디오 스트림을 구성하고 있는 각 프레임들 간의 화소 밝기 차이와 히스토그램의 변화를 이용하였다. 플래쉬 등과 같은 인위적이고 급격한 화소 밝기변화에 의한 오류를 최소화하기 위해 샷 전환 탐지 이전에 각 프레임 간의 밝기 보상을 적용하였다. 밝기 보정 된 프레임으로부터 프레임의 서브 블록 간의 지역적 화소 밝기 정보, 그리고 프레임의 화소 밝기 값 히스토그램을 비교하여 샷 전환을 탐지한다. 실험에서 제안된 알고리즘은 국가기록원 소장 비디오에 적용하여 효과가 있음을 보였다.
