‘사유의 통로’; 에반스 챈Evans Chan의 〈베이징으로의 여행Journey to Beijing〉을 중심으로

아편전쟁 이후 홍콩은 늘상 ‘보여지는 자’의 위치에 있었다. 제국들은 늘 식민지의 모든 것들을 ‘보는 자’의 위치에서 해석하고 재편하며, 제국의 보편적이고도 균질적인 가치를 전달하고자 했다. 당시 역사의 주체는 유럽인이었고 사물에 대한 지배는 타인의 지배로 이어졌다. 늘 ‘보는 자’의 위치에 있던 서양, 영국의 백인은 자신들의 질서를 홍콩에 이식했다. 헤겔의 말처럼 ‘보편적 균질성의 영역’을 구축하지 않고서는 국민형성은 불가능하고, 따라서 국민형성을 지향하는 근대화 과정은 그 내부에서 이질적인 것의 제거를 수반할 수밖에 없다. 이러한 근대의 보편적이고 균질적인 틀 안에서 늘 ‘보여지는 자’의 위치로 홍콩은 150여년의 시간을 보냈다. 150여년동안 홍콩은 작은 어촌 마을에서 아시아의 금융센터로 비약적인 발전을 했으며, 동서양의 융합지역으로 상징되기도 했다. 그리고 1997년 7월 1일 이후 ‘중국인 조국의 품’으로 회귀했다. 홍콩은 예전부터 동서양의 경계, 융합 등 동서양의 절충지대로 묘사되었다. 메리루이스 프렛이 말한 ‘접촉지대’로 “‘접촉지대contact zone’란 지배와 복종, 식민주의와 노예제도 등과 같이 극도로 비대칭적인 관계가 초래한 결과 속에서 이종 문화들이 만나고 부딪히고 서로 맞붙어 싸우는 사회적 공간을 의미한다.”고 정의한다. 본 논문에서 필자는 ‘보는 자(제국)’와 ‘보여지는 자(피식민지)’의 상호성을 좀 더 확대 해석하고자 한다. 메리 루이스 프랫의 주장처럼, 피식민자들은 식민자의 영향으로부터 벗어난 어떤 순수한 것일 수 없이 혼종적이고, 그렇기에 이들의 시선이 다른 사회로 향했을 때 역시 온전히 피식민자들의 순수한 시선으로 바라보지 않을 것이다. 비록 A⇔B의 상호성은 아니더라도 A⇒B(보이는 자, 피식민자)⇒C의 일방향성처럼 보이는 시선의 방향은 B의 이중성, 즉 ‘보여지는 자’인 동시에 ‘보는 자’로서의 위치전향이 A의 ‘보는 자’의 시선과 혼종되어 C를 바라볼 것이다. 이에 필자는 에반스 챈Evans Chan의 ‘에세이 영화’ <베이징으로의 여행 Journey to Beijing>을 통해 홍콩의 150년간의 시간 속 잠재되었을(그것이 제국이든 도시화든, 또는 자본주의든 상관없이) 문화횡단적이자, 혼종된 이중적 시선을 살피고자 한다. 또한 이렇게 홍콩이 이중적 시선을 지닐 수밖에 없었던 ‘이방인’으로서 홍콩의 주체성이 영화에서 어떻게 재현되었는지를 ‘이방인론’과 ‘에세이 영화’의 특징과 함께 그 사유의 과정을 살필 것이다. After the Opium War, Hong Kong has always been in the position of “the visible”. Empires have always tried to interpret and reorganize everything in the colony from the position of a “seeer” and convey the universal and homogeneous value of the empire. At that time, the subject of history was Europeans, and control over things led to the domination of others. Western and British whites, who were always in the position of “seeers,” transplanted their order to Hong Kong. Urban, masculine, and literal (language) authority would not have seen the customary and traditional order inside Hong Kong. As Hegel said, it is impossible to form a people without establishing an ‘universal homogeneity’, so the modernization process aimed at forming a people inevitably entails the removal of alien things within it. Hong Kong has been more than 150 years in the position of “to be seen” in such a universal and homogeneous framework of modern times and described as a ‘contact zone’ such as the border and fusion of East and West (Mary-Louise Fret). In this paper, I intend to expand and interpret the reciprocity of the ‘one who sees (the empire)’ and ‘the one who is seen (the colonized)’. As Mary Louise Pratt argues, colonists cannot be any pure thing that escapes from the influence of the colonists, and therefore, when their gaze is not pure. I would like to expand a realm of reciprocality. Although the direction of the gaze, A ⇒ B (visible, colonized) ⇒ C looks like the one way, but B will look at C by being mixed with the gaze of the ‘To see’ and ‘To be seen’. So the two cultures (whether it’s empire, urbanization, or capitalism) might have been latent in Hong Kong’s 150 years of time. Through 〈Journey to Beijing〉, I would like to study Hong Kong’s double gaze. This paper will study the process of Hong Kong’s thinking on various issues in Hong Kong, along with Hong Kong’s transcultural and double gaze, and Schuetz’s Theory of ‘the stranger’.

사계(四季)의 관점에서 본 정지용 수필의 내면세계

The article assumes that the literary text is a reflection of the inner psychological landscape, as the writer writes down his orher experiences of life. Jeong Jiyong"s essays are the texts that his views and thoughts of life and life values are textualized. In considering such aspect, this article aims to examine the inner world of the poet, by employing the perspective of the four seasons. Here I contend that the four seasons not only represent the organic cycle of growth, maturity, decline and death, but also is organically correlated with the value system in accordance with the cycle of human life, which is as a part of the nature. In other words, it can be assumed that the natural law is also incorporated into the literary work, given that the author’s life is not free from the cycle of the nature. The perspective of the four seasons is therefore employed as an approach and framework that enables us to explore the inner world of the poet. This study categorizes Jeong Jiyong’s writings into four modes of the inner state: “nostalgic mind to childhood,” “psychological aspiration,” “speculation on youth and aging,” “the sign of neurosis and existential skepticism,” and “the loss of farewell and realization of life.” The main current of Jeong Jiyong’s literary consciousness is based on melancholy in isolation, also caused by loss and anxiety. Simultaneously, the device of self-consolation helps to overcome such depression and provides evidence and support to his existence. Jeong Jiyong’s literary creation therefore aims to satisfy his desires suppressed and contained in unconsciousness, and his essays reveal the process of seeking pleasure to meet such desires. Therefore, this study is a journey of the inner world of Jeong Jiyong, reflected through his essays, in which the voices inside and outside texts are identified, when we interpret the essays.

In this paper, the contact ratio and tooth modification among the reducer design parameter were checked how they affect the actual noise. To verify of performance we calculated specifications having different rate of engagement and the prototype was made base on the specifications. In addition, in order to confirm the effect on tooth modification , the crowning was making progress turning gear is applied. After the prototype produced, the result of the noise test of the noload condition in an anechoic chamber was used as evaluation indicators.

Cortex-M TrustZone 기반 보안기술이 적용된 스마트 미터 개발

스마트 미터는 AMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure)의 가장 중요한 구성 요소로서 전력이 공급되는 모든 가정, 건물, 공장 등에 설치되어 운영된다. 전력회사는 스마트 미터를 통해 고객의 전력 사용량을 원격으로 자동 검침하고 이에 따라 정확한 전력 공급과 과금, 보고 등의 서비스를 제공한다. 하지만 전력 생산, 전달, 소비 과정에서 다양한 ICT 기술이 융합되면서 사이버공격에 의해 전력네트워크, 제어시스템 등이 장악되거나 해킹 피해로 인해 국가단위의 정전사태와 같은 안보위협 상황이 발생될 수 있으며 무분별한 개인정보 수집 및 유통으로 인한 프라이버시 침해 문제가 발생될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 미터의 보안 수준 향상을 위해 일반 데이터와 개인키, 사용자 데이터 같은 중요 데이터를 분리할 수 있는 기능을 지원하는 Cortex-M TrustZone 기반의 스마트 미터를 개발하였다. 개발한 스마트 미터를 사용하여 해커의 데이터 위변조 및 탈취와 같은 사이버공격을 방지하여 높은 등급의 보안 수준을 유지할 수 있다.

In this paper, the characteristics of the coaxial magnetic gear according to the shape of the same gear ratio are analyzed using the two - dimensional finite element analysis. The rotor shape is SMCMG, CPCMG and RCMG. After this we analyzed the characteristics according to three shapes. Also, the amount of permanent magnet used in each shape was compared. Next, characteristics analysis of the magnetic gear according to the shape at the same torque was performed. And the total weight and efficiency of the magnetic gears were compared and verified.

지반진동이 지상구조물 및 환경에 미치는 영향평가

EGS지열발전을 위한 수리자극시 발생되는 미소진동은 투수율 증가의 범위를 파악하는 유용한 수단이 되기도 하지만 지반진동으로 인하여 지상구조물 및 환경에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 EGS 지열발전의 수리자극에 의하여 발생하는 미소진동의 안전관리 기준을 수립하기 위하여 지반진동이 건축구조물 및 인체환경에 미치는 영향과 각국의 허용기준을 발파진동을 중심으로 조사 하였다. 또한 유럽과 미국에서 지열발전의 수리자극에 의한 미소진동의 연구사례를 조사 검토하여 포항 EGS 수리자극에 의한 지반진동의 관리 기준에 필요한 자료와 그 대처방안을 제시 하였다. While microseismicity induced by hydraulic stimulation carried out for EGS is useful means in estimating the range of permeability increase, it also affect surface structures and environments. In order to establish a mitigation plan for microseismicity triggered by hydraulic stimulation, we reviewed world-wide guidelines on the impact of ground vibration on the surface structure and human environment by blasting. Case studies from Europe and USA on the microseismicity by hydraulic stimulation are presented and suggestions are made for the guidelines on ground vibration by hydraulic stimulation for the ongoing Pohang EGS project.

한국 한방의료관광에 대한 중국 관광객 인식도 조사연구

Objectives : This study aimed to obtain general information for the design of a medical tourism plan toward Chinese using Korean medicine (KM). Methods : A questionnaire was asked of Chinese tourists regarding of Korea traditional medical tourism. 148 valid responses were obtained and their awareness of KM, and preferred subject and decision factors for their participation in Korea traditional medical tourism were analyzed using SPSS version 12.0. Results : 72% of respondents showed over a moderate degree of interest in medical tourism of KM. The most preferred subject was skin aesthetics, followed by medical check-ups and rehabilitation. Medical skill level, communication, and medical cost were indicated as the important factors for participants' decisions about KM-based medical tourism. Conclusions : Medical tourism could be a potential avenue for development by the KM-based Korean medical industry. Cosmetic-associated medical services are recommended, and enhanced public relations about KM-medical skill levels are strongly suggested for Chinese tourists.

‘사회주의 정신문명’에서 ‘중화문화’로의 이동

Each nations and era’s create the ideology maintaining and governing each society. How to keep a nation as a unity? In reference to this question, an ‘identity’, that is ‘cultural identity’ could be an answer. This is a top subject to running ‘China’ in 2012 as well. Recently, China is designating as a ‘national intangible cultural asset’(非物質文化遺産) and registering them for UNESCO. This is one kind of ways of protecting, developing and publicizing chinese own culture. ‘Chinese culture(中?文化)’ representing China has a complicated and political tone. As one term, ‘chinese culture’, drawing one picture of China as an unity, it does not exist any coherence. Chinese has considered the ‘culture’ seriously with every turning point, like ‘New Culture Movement(新文化??)’, ‘The Cultural Revolution(文化大革命)’. A cultural subject to China is not a purely academic subject, but a sensitive social-political meaning. This paper considers that how to China make the ‘Chinese culture’ as an unity, it is not any more important that what is the ‘Chinese culture’. Also with the ‘Chinese culture’, China has some plans to the world. With some official documents in relation to culture and intangible cultural property, this pater studies China how to solve this subject.
