Probiotics have been extensively studied for their beneficial effects on human health. In particular, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains have gained considerable attention as major groups of probiotic bacteria that improve gastrointestinal health. However, emerging evidence suggests that probiotics offer benefits beyond those observed in the gut recent studies suggest that probiotics and/or their components exert favorable effects on alcoholic liver disease (ALD) pathogenesis such as decreasing intestinal permeability, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria growth, increasing the activity of alcohol metabolism enzymes, modulating the adaptive immune system, and suppressing fatty acid synthesis genes. In this review, we discuss the results of in vivo and in vitro studies that have examined the use of probiotics to prevent ALD, primarily focusing on those that explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the activities of promising probiotic strains. The evidence presented in this review could help in screening for probiotic strains that have protective effects in ALD patients and in further elucidating the mechanisms of their actions.

The purposes of this research was to explore the demographic and the tourist behavior characteristics of the domestic food tourists, and conduct a comparative analysis in the difference with the food tourist groups according to the importance of the visited place choice reason. In order to achieve these, this study used the collected secondary data source from a total number of 6,429 personal trip data for the 2013 Korea National Tourism Survey as the primary data. In the evaluation of the secondary data, this study conducted frequency analysis and crosstabs. The analysis results are as the following: First, in a demographic analysis, the most prevalent food tourist characteristics were women, age(more than 50s), homemakers, high school and college graduates (current students), a big metropolitan city residency, and Mainly lived in Gyeongnam region. Second, this study was classified food tourist groups according to the importance of the visited place choice reason, and conducted a crosstabs of individual groups and the demographic variables. The results of this analysis were as follows. These three groups were significantly different with respect to five demographic variables: sex, marriage status, age, highest education degree, and monthly family income, but were not statistical significantly different with respect to four variables: occupation, residential location, the number of family members, and the size of residential location. Third, as purposes of visiting other than food, the visiting place’s awareness and attractions are important factors. And this study showed that tourists normally visited a places near their residential location, liked one-day trip, and mainly used a car. The most common activities of tourists were food tour, nature and landscape appreciation, and they receive tour information from their friends and colleagues who have visited the destinations. This study provides an analysis on the current status of domestic food tourists’ characteristics based on the reliable national institute data. Thus, it has to contribute as the foundation data to the invigoration of future food tour policies and the implementations.

Therefore, the dining space of today was demanded inclined the function, decorate and psychological thing. The flower decoration which in dining space does a big role with decorate element is embossed, it is used widely in the dining space. According to the insufficiency of the previous studies in a flower design in a dining space, the results of this study is a limit to the analysis. In the situations which a flower design in a dining space is applied by a sense without the standards while there are not the enough definite guides about it, the constant studies and the academic theorization of the types of a flower design in a dining space are urgently needed.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to compare the effects of Tai Chi exercise, Tai Chi self help program, and self help management program on arthritic pain, stiffness, fatigue and difficulties in performing daily activities in patients with osteoarthritis. Method: The pre-post experimental design was utilized with convenient sampling at Public Health Centers. Total of 38 subjects agreed to participate in the study with the inclusion criteria of being diagnosed as osteoarthritis and no previous regular exercise. The 12 subjects were assigned to Tai Chi exercise group, 13 subjects to Tai Chi exercise combined with self help management program, and the other 13 to self help management program. Tai Chi exercise group performed exercise twice a week for one hour per each session. Tai Chi self help management group came to the class twice a week, one hour for Tai Chi exercise, and another hour for self help management program. The third group came to the class once a week for one hour to participate self help management program. At the completion of 6 week programs, 10 subjects from Tai Chi exercise, 9 from Tai Chi self help, another 10 from self help management groups completed the post-test measures. The data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 11.0. The homogeneity tests for three experimental groups were conducted by $X^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, Kruskal-Wallis test. The final analysis of the post-test measures was conducted by ANCOVA with fatigue, pain, stiffness, and difficulties in daily activities of the pretest measures as covariates. Results: The results were as follows. There were no significant differences in fatigue, pain, and difficulties of daily activities among three groups for the pretest measures. The score of arthritic stiffness was significantly different among groups after controlled for covariates, but the post-hoc tests showed no group differences. Conclusion: The nursing interventions applied for osteoarthritis patients have been previously tested to show the cost effectiveness of symptoms management of this population.
