This study examined the characteristics of the Incheon branch of Singanhoe, focusing on the participation and departure of local influential leaders. The Incheon branch was established by not only local national activists but also local influential leaders. This is confirmed by the fact that some members of the Incheon local civic group, Sinjeonghoe(新正會), centered on local influential leaders, led to the Incheon branch of Singanhoe. However, they had the nature of not being politically opposed to the Japanese colonial authorities. Therefore, local national activists attempted to keep them in check by advancing to the general affairs office and delegates. Both groups worked together to defend the daily interests of the Korean people, and shared activities with strong ethnic elements, such as the movement to protect Koreans in Manchuria and the movement to relieve Koreans from famine in Gyeongbuk. On the other hand, local influential leaders were passive in movements that had both ethnic and class elements, such as activities to support the Wonsan general strike. However, this rift did not lead to an immediate confrontation. The conflict between the local influential leaders and national activists became clear with the movement of dialectical development(解消) of the Singanhoe. The movement of dialectical development in the Incheon branch was promoted by Kwon, Chung-Il, an activist who participated in the reconstruction movement of the Communist Party of Korea, and nationalist activist Kwak, Sang-Hoon, who agreed with it. The decision of the policy of dialectical developement in the Incheon branch resulted in a large number of local influential leaders being eliminated. This is confirmed by the fact that they were excluded from the selection of executives at the regular meeting of the Incheon branch, which approved the policy. Therefore, the dialectical developement of Singanhoe signaled the beginning of competition and antagonism between the local influential leaders and national activists surrounding the Joseon people in the Incheon community.

Stroke patients need regular medical treatments and rehabilitation training from their doctors. However, severe aftereffects caused by stroke allow them minimum activities, which make it difficult for them to visit doctor. Recently, electric brain stimulation treatment has been found to be better way compared to conventional ones and many are interested in using this method for the treatment of stroke. In this study, we have developed a remote medical treatment system using wireless electric brain stimulator that can help the stroke patients to get a treatment without visiting their doctors. The developed remote medical treatment system connects the doctors to the brain stimulator implanted in the patients via the internet and ZigBee communication built in the brain stimulator. Also, the system receives personal information of the connected patients and cumulates the total records of electric stimulation therapy in a database. Doctors can easily access the information for better treatment planning with the help of graphical visualization tools and management software. The developed remote medical treatment system can be applied to the electric stimulation treatments for other brain diseases with a minor change.
The “Trivial” Mechanism for the Photo-Fries Reaction of Phenyl Acetate and Biphenylyl Acetates

The mechanism for the photo-Fries rearrangement of phenyl acetate andbiphenylyl acetates were reinvestigat-ed in phenol (or phenol derivatives) containing media. The results showed that the phenol (or phenol deriva-tives) which is the most common by-product of Fries reaction reacts with acyl radical togive Fries-product. These phenol (or phenol derivatives) contributions to the Fries-products were suggested as the Trivial mecha-nism for the photo-Fries reaction.
신간회 해소론과 전체대회 연구 -‘국제선’ 재건그룹과 ‘태평양노동조합계열’을 중심으로-
윤효정 한국민족운동사학회 2020 한국민족운동사연구 Vol.- No.105
This article examined why the communists in the International Communists Group and the Affiliation with the Pacific Labor Union formed a theory of dialectical development[解消] of Singanhoe and what the representative assembly of Singanhoe meant in their plan of the dialectical development. Research results are as follows. First, the communists established the policy of dialectical development of Singanhoe around the late December 1930 when they began to be convinced of the power of mass in Singangoe, to consider it as a mass group based on petits bourgeois and to recognize the need to reorganize them into an anti-imperialism cooperative front. Second, they intended to make the best use of the representative assembly of Singanhoe to summon the mass in it. Finally, the assembly was not only a declaration to inform that Singanhoe started to metamorphose into a fundamentally different form but also a political ceremony to show the power of mass as the root to cause the metamorphosis. This appeared in the process of re-examination of the qualifications of representatives, especially of the delegates elected in the Committee for Dialectical Development in Seoul branch.
Vol.31 No.4
Permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, has been widely used to protect domestic animals and the public health, as well as in agriculture against a variety of pests, which provides potential for environmental exposure. Permethrin is classified as possible human carcinogen and endocrine disrupting chemical by many international authorities. However, its developmental effects have been rarely studied. This study investigated the effects of permethrin during embryo-genesis. Developmental toxicity of permethrin was evaluated using short-term in vitro battery system. Gestation day 9.5 rat embryos (organogenesis) were cultured with permethrin (0.1,0.4 and 0.8 mg/ml) for 48 hours using whole embryo culture system. All the treatments exhibited significant decreases in the total morphological score. Permethrin induced significant growth retardation and the developmental abnormality at doses of 0.4 and 0.8 mg/ml. Moreover, the DNA and protein contents of embryos decreased in dose-dependent manner. These observations suggest that permethrin contributes to toxicity on embryonic developments in rats.
마이크로시스틴의 어류내 축적성 및 인체 위해성 평가:국내 저수지 사례연구

Objectives: Microcystin (MC) produced during cyanobacterial blooms is a worldwide problem presenting aserious health threats to humans and ecosystems. During July through October of 2013, the Ilwol Reservoirexperienced a high biomass of phytoplankton (maximum 211.7 mg/m3 of Chlorophyll-a) containing thetoxigenic cyanobacterium Oscillatoria sp. The aim of this study is to analyze MC concentration in the reservoirwater, as well as in representative fish species (Carassius cuvieri, Carassius auratus, Channa argus). We alsoevaluated the human health risk of exposure to MCs accumulated in the fish. Methods: Concentrations of MCs in the water and fish samples were analyzed by liquid chromatography witha triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: The total levels of four MC variants, including MC-LR, MC-RR, MC-YR and MC-LA were below theWHO drinking water guideline limit (1 ug MC-LR per liter) both for the dissolved and particulate fractionpresent in the water samples. The mean MC concentrations in the livers of all species were significantly higherthan in the gills (p < 0.01) and muscles (p < 0.05). The values of estimated daily intake of MCs in muscles, theedible part of the fish, would be only 0.005–0.015 μg/kg·day, much lower than WHO’s provisional tolerabledaily intake of 0.04 μg/kg·day. Conclusion: This study suggests that, owing to the spatial distribution or temporal variation of MC, there is aneed for careful monitoring of cyanotoxin in reservoir water and aquatic animals to protect public health.
