A 35-year old male developed epigastric pain and hematemesis one week before admission. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy was performed and a communication between the esophagus and another opening was discovered. On a follow- up CT and barium esophagogram, a tubular duplication was suspected and the patient was referred to the department of cardio-thoracic surgery. A pathological diagnosis of esophageal duplication (tubular type) was established. The patient was discharged and is currently being followed up. Eso-phageal duplication is a rare congenital malformation. Moreover, it has not heen reported in Korea that esophagealduplication presents with hematemesis.

On the concepts of place and sculpture space in contemporary art and logic of relation with viewers, two specific concepts of "installation" and "In-situ" were developed. These two concepts are applied to all arts using concept of place and space and logic that considered concept of art and daily life as the same is very important. Reality of one plastic art experienced at a specific space and time like routine is occurred in such a logic. I could feel a situation in such a condition. It was a chage of concept of art work and place as an overcome of concept of place and meant that concept of art work was transferred to an place or a common place became an art work. In my opinion, what is more attracting me in such a situation is on concept of "experience" and it is applied to art, routine and all spaces of life. Extension of concept of place and space in art works induces a serious question. This question is on whether art work is existing object to give a vigor to viewers or it is just a kind of space with change by an existing object. Such a question can be also applied to artist himself because it questions that art is making a kind of artistic object or a space for artistic experience. This study aims to enrich actual production through research on functionality of space and work. And it asks a question of identity of viewers' momentary experiences of place and spatiality of "installation-sculpture" and it is dealt with the theme of breath-inspiration / life space. I feel my work is progressed to create any space for experiencing an art work and as it were, it is not to present an object to viewers, but suggest a life space. The purpose of my works is a kind of invitation for viewers to experience a pure moment of their own life. I wish that a part of moving life presented by my works symbolizes eternal reality to which my work and myself are subject.

Squares are defined as the most fundamental elements for the formation of European cultural identity. There is no city without a square or squares in Europe. Whether they were formed in the process of expansion or existed when cities were built, the fundamental concept that cities are the center of urban lives has been being maintained. Cities originally acted the role of marketplaces where the dåily lives of the residents were unfold through commercial transaction, like Agora of the ancient Greek cities. They also have performed the roles of ritual space or the social furnace boiling with the assembly of mass for a long time. It also should not be forgoUen that they, as the aggregate of arts, representing the new scenes every moment with the peoples' trace which encompassed various sculptures and in which peoples were pushed around to live. Like this, the role of squares is diversified. However, the most important concept is that there are people in the center of that. Squares exist with people and they are the open spaces for citizens. They are the living space where passing and gathering, conflict and reconciliation are intersected, and where infinite possibilities are contained. The squares in cities are the spaces that symbolize the formation of citizens' democratic discourse and the history of democracy is also related to the development of square culture. The European squares with the history like this have been pushed behind by the roads and the buildings and became the neglected spaces. However, in the 21st century, they became the pivotal points for the urban renewal projects for many cities and took their places as the most beloved asset for the communities. Like all people cooperated and communicated in the squares in the past, the lives of modern people are in the era of infinate cooperation not infinite competition. For example, mordern people meet many people on line everyday through internet services. Things that were never dreamed a dozen years ago, the initial stage of internet, such as daily lives starting with networks and ending with network, and the communication with many people on line as a part of our lives, have become our natural daily lives. Internet environment, the driving force of modern civilization opens the era for cross-connection that is ruled by the paradigm of communication, openness and participation and now opens the era of revolution that greets another new changes that have been accelerated faster than that combines everything until now. Fortunately, the era of revolution is not the era of infinite intensified competition but the era of cooperation associated with love and spontaneity. Like this, the square culture with the concept of communication, one of the features of European cultures awakened the era of communization and cooperation for us and taught us a lesson that in this the era. the more we communicate, the more propsperious and leisurely we will become.
