Capillary tubes are widely used as expansion device in small refrigeration systems. The refrigerant flowing in the capillary tube experiences frictional and accelerational head losses, and flashing, simultaneously. In this paper flow characteristics of adiabatic capillary tubes with various friction factor models, two-phase viscosity models, and two-phase frictional multiplier models were simulated. The predicted pressure distribution, mass flow rate are compared with experimental data reported in literature. It is confirmed that the predicting accuracy with homogeneous model can be improved by employing the suitable correlations of friction factor and two-phase viscosity model, and two-phase frictional multiplier.

Recognizing a limits on quantitative evaluation of cultural contents' and for its betterment, study aims developing a qualitative evaluation model. For this study, Reception Theory, Semiotics and Psychology were derived for epistemological dimension to contemplate culture contents' essential attribute. To be concrete, cultural contents was examined as experiential products, emotional products, rememberable products and texts. Also, codes of fun, emotion and culture were discussed as intrinsic attributes for cultural contents and how those attributes were expressed or composed in cultural contents was discussed as well. Evaluation items were extracted based on final discussion at the epistemic level, set up the final evaluation model by taking experts' advices on each items. With all those outcomes, qualitative evaluation model for cultural contents was developed. For the importance of each index in the model, priority was granted by weighting on each index. Lastly, evaluation scale was developed for each index. The culture contents' evaluation model developed in study is meaningful not only in drawing qualitative evaluation items of video(image) contents and developing the index and model for the first time, but also its possibility of wide use for other genres.

The simulation of refrigeration cycle is important since the experimental approach is costly and time-consuming. The present paper focuses on the simulation of a refrigeration cycle equipped with a capillary tube-suction line heat exchanger(SLHX), which is widely used in small vapor compression refrigeration systems. The present simulation is based on fundamental conservation equations of mass, momentum, and energy. These equations are solved through an iterative process. The non-adiabatic capillary tube model is based on homogeneous two-phase flow model. This model is used to understand the refrigerant flow behavior inside the non-adiabatic capillary tube. The simulation results show that both of the location and length of heat exchange section influence the coefficient of performance (COP).

BACKGROUND: The objective of this study was to evaluate screening method of residual multi pesticides in dead birds by Orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) to identify the cause of death for birds . METHODS AND RESULTS: Extraction and clean-up method of residual pesticides in liver of dead birdswas used QuEChERS (Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe) and method validations was conducted using liquid chromatography and gas chroamtography with triplequadrupole mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS and GC/MS/ MS) Also, we were evaluated screening method for the determination of residual pesticides in liver of dead birds by LCandGCOrbitrapMass Spectrometry. Results ofmethod validations, Correlation coefficients of thematrixmatched calibration curves were >0.978, and the method detection limits (MDLs) and limits of quantitation (LOQ) were 2.8~ 72.1 ng/g (18.4 ng/g on average) and 9.0~230 ng/g (58.5 ng/g on average). The accuracy ranged from69.1%to 130% (103%on average), and the precision valueswere less than 14.8%(3.8%on average). The screening of residual pesticides in liver of dead birds by LC and GC Orbitrap HRMS was detectedmonocrotophos, carbofuran, carbosulfan, deltametrin, benfuracarb, carbofuran, phosphamidon, prochloraz in investigated samples. CONCLUSION: This results showed that accurate mass were extraction of residual pesticides in dead birds by Orbitrap HRMS. It suggested that this screeningmethod is applicable to the residual pesticide analysis for the cause of death as a main tool. .
