      • Comparison of Wound Healing Between Conventional Tie-over Dressing and Silicone Sheeting after Skin Grafting

        Purpose: We compared wound healing between the conventional tie-over dressing and silicone sheeting after skin grafting in patients with skin defects. Materials and Methods: Of a total of 30 cases of skin defects, 15 underwent conventional tie-over dressing and the remaining 15 underwent silicone sheeting skin grafting, we compared hematoma formation and infection status between the 2 techniques 1 and 2 weeks after operation Results: Hematoma was not observed in all cases. The wound infection rate decreased in silicone group. Conclusions: Silicone sheeting skin graft may be helpful in reducing wound infection.

        Collagenous eolitis is an uncommon condition of unknown etiology, charactcrized by chronic watery diarrbea and thickening of the subepithelial collagen band with chronic inflammation. We report two cases of collagenous colitis in a 23-year-old male and 35-year-old female who complain of chronic diarrhea and weight loss. Laboratory and radialogie studies were not remarkable. Colonoscopic examination showed no gross abnarmality but colonoscopic mucosal biopsy showed thickening of subepithelial collagen band and chmnic inflammation.         경인지역 건강검진자의 Helicobacter pylori 항체 양성률

        N/A H. pylori infection is now widely recognized as one of the causes of peptic ulcer, antral gastritis, and gastric cancer. Many data from cross-sectional seroprevalence studies have confirmed that H. pylori seropositivity varies between different area and race of the same country. The aim of this study is to evaluate the H. pylori seropositivity in 3,488 healthy subjects who reside in Metro-Inchon. Methods : H. pylori IgG antibodies were assayed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in healthy Koreans who underwent health examination in Gil Hospital from January to September, 1997. Subjects who had past history of peptic ulcer and previous gastric or duodenal operation and used antibiotics in 1 month were excluded. We compared H. pylori seropositivity between sex, age group, and ABO blood group using Chi-square test and Mantel-Haenszel Chi-square test. Results : 1) The overall seropositivity of H. pylori infection was 70.0%. 2) The seropositivity of H. pylori infection by age groups was 28.6% in 10-19, 63.3% in 20-29, 65.5% in 30-39, 70.7% in 40-49, 73.3% in 50-59, and 74.8% in over 60. 3) The seropositivity of H. pylori infection was 72.1% in male and 65.8% in female. 4) The seropositivity of H. pylori infection among ABO blood groups were 69.4% in A, 69.8% in B, 70.7% in O, and 70.1% in AB. Conclusion : The seropositivity of H. pylori infection in healthy persons living in Metro-Inchon was 70.0% and increased with age and was higher in male.

        수정 티볼 오버핸드 4단계 던지기 연습을 통한 초등학교 여학생 던지기 기술 개선 방안 연구

        본 연구 목적은 수정 티볼 오버핸드 4단계 던지기 연습을 통해 올바른 던지기 퍼포먼스와 기술 개선 방안을 모색하고, 여학생 지도 시 교사의 실기 지도 능력과 전문성 신장을 향상시키기 위한 기초 표준 던지기 자료를 제공하자 한다. 연구 대상자는 초등학교 4학년 여학생 10명으로 수정이 요구되는 오른발 착지에 오른손 오버핸드 던지는 여학생(5명)과 양발을 붙이고 던지는 여학생(5명)으로 총 10명을 대상으로 했다. 대상자 모두는 연구과정은 3단계 세션 과정(사전-연습-사후)연구에 참여시켰다. 수정 티볼 오버핸드 4단계 던지기 과정은 티볼 협회 지침서, 야구투수 지침서, 던지기 문헌조사 등을 통해서 수정했고 그 과정의 객관성을 높이기 위해 티볼 지도자, 체육학 박사 연구원, 체육대학 교수 등의 자문을 구했다. 연구기간은 2018년 6월부터 11월 까지로 사전 수업영상 분석과 체육 수업 시간 중 던지기 문제점에 대한 자료를 수집 분석하여 학생을 파악했다. 던지기 모션은 다트 피시(dart fish) 프로그램을 이용하여 카메라에 저장시켰고, 이차원으로 분석했다. 연구결과는 수정 티볼 오버 핸드 4단계 던지기 연습을 통해서 던지기 몸통 자세, 좌우 교차 밸런스, 던지기 스윙각 등이 크게 향상되었다. 연구를 통한 시사점은 여학생들의 던지기 퍼포먼스와 던지기 동작의 향상으로 배드민턴, 테니스 서브 등 다양한 스포츠 종목의 연계성을 기대할 수 있었다. 차후 여학생들의 던지기 수업 개선을 위한 방안으로 교육과정에 기초 표준 던지기 과정을 세션별로 재구성해야 하며, 현장 학교 지도자나 교사가 기초 표준 던지기 과정을 분명하게 인식해야 할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study is to find the correct throwing performance and technology improvement measures for elementary school girls who throw overhand with one’s foot on or right hand using on right foot landing where correction is required through the revised tee ball overhand 4 step throw exercise, and provide basic standards toss data to improve teacher skills and professional growth when teaching girls. Ten fourth-grade girls, who were required to be revised for the study, participated in a three-step session(pre-training-post). The motion was saved by a camera using a dart fish program and analyzed as a second dimension. Improved throwing body posture, left-to-right cross balance, and throwing swing angles were achieved through the modified tee ball over hand throw exercise. Through the results of the study, it was very useful not only for girls throwing performances but also for improving their throwing behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to reconstruct the basic standards throwing process into the curriculum in a session as a way to improve the girls throwing classes, and to make it clear that field school leaders or teachers are aware of the process of throwing basic standards.

        방향전환 시 발의 효과와 제동력에 대한 가설

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the functional role of braking forces when humans execute running turning maneuvers. Deceleration caused by braking forces depending on the ankle movement contributes to changing the movement direction of the center of mass(COM) and maintaining constant velocity. We argued that foot effectiveness prevented over or under rotation of the body about the vertical axis during running turn. We analyzed data from running turn (0, 30, and 60 degrees) at average initial running velocities of 4.5 ㎳-1 and rotations. The change in COM movement direction and Foot COP movement caused the body rotation to be substantially mis-aligned with the direction of movement at the end of the step. Analysis of kinematics and ground-reaction forces during running turn was possible to determine the predicted relationship between foot effectiveness and understanding direct cause of injury.

        기후변화에 의한 눈잣나무의 서식지 분포 예측

        This study was performed to predict the future climate envelope of Pinus pumila, a subalpine plant and a Climate-sensitive Biological Indicator Species (CBIS) of Korea. P. pumila is distributed at Mt. seorak in South Korea. Suitable habitat were predicted under two alternative RCPscenarios (IPCC AR5). The SDM used for future prediction was a Maxent model, and the total number of environmental variables for Maxent was 8. It was found that the distribution range of P. pumila in the South Korean was 38° 7` 8”N~38° 7` 14”N and 128° 28` 2”E~128° 27` 38”E and 1,586m~1,688m in altitude. The variables that contribute the most to define the climate envelope are altitude. Climate envelope simulation accuracy was evaluated using the ROC`s AUC. The P. pumila model`s 5-cv AUC was found to be 0.99966. which showed that model accuracy was very high. Under both the RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios, the climate envelope for P. pumila is predicted to decrease in South Korea. According to the results of the maxent model has been applied in the current climate, suitable habitat is 790.78㎢. The suitable habitats, are distributed in the region of over 1,400m . Further, in comparison with the suitable habitat of applying RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 suitable habitat current, reduction of area RCP8.5 was greater than RCP4.5. Thus, climate change will affect the distribution of P. pumila. Therefore, governmental measures to conserve this species will be necessary. Additionally, for CBIS vulnerability analysis and studies using sampling techniques to monitor areas based on the outcomes of this study, future study designs should incorporate the use of climatic predictions derived from multiple GCMs, especially GCMs that were not the one used in this study. Furthermore, if environmental variables directly relevant to CBIS distribution other than climate variables, such as the Bioclim parameters, are ever identified, more accurate prediction than in this study will be possible.

        자외선에 의한 세포손상에 대한 말채나무잎의 보호효과

        말채나무는 한국의 민간요법으로 사용되던 약재이다. 자외선은 피부의 광손상을 일으키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 자외선에 의한 손상된 세포를 회복시키기 위해서 효소처리 된 말채나무잎추출물(CWE)을 사용하였다. 섬유아세포에 UVB를 조사한 후, CWE를 처리하여 세포의 회복을 조사하였다. UVB를 조사한 섬유아세포에는 caspase-3 활성, phospho-p53, γH2AX, cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs) formation, 그리고 DNA fragmentation이 증가하게 된다. 그러나 CWE를 UVB가 조사된 섬유아세포에 12 h 처리하였을 때 caspase-3 활성, phospho-p53, γH2AX, CPDs formation, 그리고 DNA fragmentation이 감소하였다. 또한 CWE은 인체첩포시험을 통해 인체피부에 자극을 유발하지 않음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 종합할 때 CWE는 자외선에 대한 광보호 효과가 있는 원료로서 가능성을 가지고 있다고 판단된다. Cornus walteri Wanger has been used in folk medicine in Korea. Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation has been known as a major cause of photo damage in skin. In the present study, research on how to cure damaged cells by UVB was conducted using an extract of Cornus walteri Wanger leaves (CWE), which was treated with an enzyme. CWE was applied to human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs) affected by UVB. UVB-irradiated HS68 cells showed increased caspase-3 activity, phosphorylation of p53, γH2AX, cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs) formation, and DNA fragmentation compared with non-irradiated cells. However, all these effects were inhibited by treatment with CWE for 12 h after UVB irradiation. Furthermore, CWE has proved not to cause primary skin irritation through the human patch test. Collectively, these results suggest that CWE could be a new potential candidate as photoprotective agent against UVB-induced cellular damage in HDFs.

        새로운 광독성 검사법의 개발을 위한 연구

        The present study was carried out to find a simple and safe in. vitro test for phtotoxic drugs. Authors selected two strains of Salmonella typhimurium(TA98 and TA102) which have been used in Ames test for the detsction of mutagenecity af various chemical substances. Both strains are genuine products of genetic enzineering. The etrain TA98 should be highly vulnerable to ultraviolet radition because it lacks normal I)NA excision repair gene. The strain TA102 was chosen as control since it maintained the DNA repair gene. These strains were subjected to increasing dosea of UVA with or without pretreatment of 8 methoxypsoralsn(8-MOP) which is a prototype of photatoxic druge. The authors made use of a perforated stain-less steel template which provided a simple and eosy monitoring of ultraviolet irradiation effects i.e. clear zones due to inhibition of the atrains could be determined. By using this methad, the authors acquired the following results .' I. 8-MOP alone exerted no inhibition on both strains at concentration upto 100mg /ml. 2. UVA irradiation alone showed no growth inhibition at dose upto 5J/cm. 3. UVA irradiation after pretreatment with 8 MOP resulted varying growth inhibition in proportion to irradiation doses. 4. Authors found a suitable concentration of 8-MOP for this test is 10pg/ml. With this ccncentrstion, minimal phatatoxic dose of UVA were O.l J/cm for the strain TA98 and 1.0J/cm for the strain TA102 respectively.

        척수장애인의 스쿠버 다이빙 오픈워터 과정에 대한 고찰: 단일 대상연구

        본 연구의 목적은 수중온도를 34°로 조절한 상태에서 치료를 포함한 이론적이고 실질적인 훈련을 통해서 척수장애인이 안전하게 수중 레크리에이션인 스쿠버 다이빙을 할 수 있는 과정을 보고하는 것이었다. 이를 위 해 질적 연구 방법 중 사례 연구를 통해서 입문(enter), 기술-연습(skill-exercise), 성공(sucess all)에 대한 특징들 을 심층적으로 분석 기술하고자 하였다. 척수장애인을 대상으로 한 개인별 레크리에이션 스쿠버 다이빙에 관한 연구 자료들은 거의 없으며 대부분의 연구자들은 증상의 악화를 예방하기위해 수중온도 34°에서 수중 치료 프 로그램을 추천하고 있다. 본 연구의 참여자는 28세의 척수장애 여성이며, A-B-C연구를 하였다. 자료수집방법으 로는 수중 디지털 카메라(digital camera), 면담(interview), 관련자료(artifacts), 필드노트(field notes)를 사용하였 다. 본 연구에서 실시한 훈련의 결과, 수중 내 무중력 상태에서 기립 가능, 스스로에 대한 가능성 발견, 자신감 상승, 대중사회 인식 개선 등의 효과가 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to report the participation process in recreational scuba diving in the underwater through the water with a temperature of 34° to hydrotherapy spinal disorders, including theoretical and practical training. Through a case study of qualitative research methods for this survey-introduction (enter), skill-exercise, and success all, features was described in-depth analysis. Almost no research data on individual recreational scuba diving on spinal disorders, most of the researchers studied in order to prevent the worsening of symptoms of patients on the aquatic therapy program at the temperature of 34° recommended. A-B-C research was a case study in the spinal cord of 28-year-old women with disabilities who was collected data from underwater digital camera, interview, field notes, and related materials (artifacts), and then the results were analyzed. These results offered the experience in the aquatic standing in the weightless conditions to paraplegia disorders as well as opportunities for themselves for the possibility of raising the confidence and major social recognition-improvement grants. Future research will need to develop and disseminate open water scuba diving program appropriate to the subjects of diverse situation.
