        과학영재 학생들을 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과에 대한 질적 접근

        The main purpose of this study is to examine the effects of emotional intelligence development program of science-gifted students. Participants were engaged in 20 emotional intelligence program spanning 9 months. Data were collected before and after the program from 20 science-gifted students using self-reported inventory, worksheets, researcher field note, and pre- and post- interviews. The results of this study showed that this emotional intelligence program was helpful in new understanding of emotional intelligence, improving in self-efficacy as gifted students accumulated positive experiences on resolving the conflict using emotional intelligence. In addition, the program was helpful in enhancement of self-confidence in relationship with other people and expectancy in schoolwork and future career. However, participants did not remark on direct relationship between emotional intelligence and school record. 본 연구의 목적은 과학 영재를 대상으로 한 정서지능 프로그램의 효과를 알아보고자하는 것이다. 참가자들은 9개월 동안 20회의 정서지능 프로그램에 참가하였다. 연구 분석 자료로는 20명의 과학 영재 학생의 자기보고 검사지, 프로그램 활동지, 연구자 현장기록 일지, 사전·사후 인터뷰를 사용하였다. 프로그램 수행 결과, 학생들은 정서지능을 이용한 갈등 상황의 긍정적 해결 경험을 통해 정서지능에 대한 재인식과 자기효능감이 상승하였고, 타인과의 관계에 대한 자신감이 형성되었으며 학업과 미래 직업에 대한 기대감을 드러냈다. 그러나 학업 성취에 대한 직접적 영향력은 드러나지 않았다.

        도시재생지역 방문객의 체험이 장소애착과 행동의도에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to understand the influence of the experiences of visitors to urban regeneration areas on their place attachment and behavioral intention. Experience factors were divided into five factors (sensory experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, behavioral experience, and relationship experience) based on experiential marketing by Schmitt (1999). A survey on the visitors to the urban regeneration areas in Seoul resulted in a total of 300 valid samples collected to use for empirical analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that among the five factors, cognitive experience and behavioral experience had a positive effect on place attachment, and the stronger the cognitive experience and behavioral experience in the areas experienced by the visitors, the higher the place attachment. Second, it was confirmed that sensory experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, and behavioral experience had a positive influence on behavioral intention, but cognitive experience did not. Finally, it was found that place attachment had a positive influence on behavioral intention in the influence relationship between the two. The results of this study suggest that a strategy for reinforcing the aforementioned four experience factors is required to encourage visitors to continue to visit the areas and to increase their behavioral intention to spread positive word-of-mouth. From a holistic point of view, this study can provide an academic implication by applying experiential marketing to urban regeneration areas in Seoul, most of which are tourist attractions. Marketing strategies are also presented to revitalize the tourism industry.

        L2 Word Learning and Learner Perspectives by Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy with Glossing

        Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of Vocabulary Self-collection Strategy (VSS) withglossing on L2 word recall and retention as well as learner perspectives on vocabulary knowledgeand word consciousness by the strategy in EFL classroom contexts. Methods: For the study, sixty-four learners were randomly allocated for both VSS accompanied withL1 glossing (VSSL1) and VSS accompanied with L2 glossing (VSSL2) groups. Data were collectedthrough a pre-test for collecting target words, two immediate and two delayed post vocabulary tests,and a retrospective questionnaire. Results: The results revealed that VSSL2 group significantly outperformed in immediate word recalland delayed retention in receptive and productive knowledge than VSSL1 group. In addition, overall,positive perceptions on the strategy were found in vocabulary knowledge and word consciousnessfrom the two groups. It is noteworthy that the VSSL2 group showed significantly higher mean scoreof the statement regarding long-term memory effect by the strategy. Conclusion: The results from VSS L2 group appeared to be attributed to deeper processing for form-meaningconnections of target words with higher involvement load in need to understand, search for themusing L2-L2 dictionary, and evaluation to check proper meanings in the context on their own. Thiscould be strengthened by the cooperative classroom discussions with peers and teacher guidance forfull comprehension of target language input. (Dankook University)

        가족 협력 개별화전환계획 수립 프로그램이 중도장애 고등학생 부모의 개별화교육계획에 대한 태도 및 가족역량강화에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a family-centered Individualized Transition Planning(ITP) program on attitude toward Individual Education Plan(IEP) and family empowerment of parents of high-school students with severe disabilities. Method: Participants in the study were 18 high school students(9 in an experiment group, 9 in a control group), who enrolled in special schools and their parents. Participants in the experiment group received a transition planning program consisting of 11 training sessions for both students with severe disabilites and their parents in the transition process. Data were collected pre and post implementation to measure parents‘ attitudes toward IEP and family empowerment. Results: Parents in the experiment group demonstrated significant increases in the attitude toward IEP and family empowerment compared to those of the control group. Conclusion: This study has implications for redesigning a transition planning process in that the program encouraged participation of students with severe disabilities and their parents in transition planning. 연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 중도장애 고등학생을 위한 가족 협력 개별화전환계획 프로그램이 부모의 개별화교육계획에 대한 태도 및 가족역량 강화에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 참여자는 특수학교에 재학 중인 중도장애 고등학생과 부모 18쌍(실험집단 9쌍, 통제집단 9쌍)이었다. 본 연구의 독립변인은 가족 협력 개별화전환계획 프로그램으로 주 1회 총 11회기 진행되었다. 프로그램의 효과는 개별화교육계획에 대한 태도(ATIEP)검사와 가족역량강화(FES) 검사로 측정되었다. 연구결과: 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족 협력 개별화전환계획 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단 부모의 개별화교육계획에 대한 태도는 통제집단 부모와 비교하여 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 가족 협력 개별화전환계획 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단 부모의 가족역량강화 점수는 통제집단 부모와 비교하여 유의미하게 향상되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 중도장애 학생과 가족의 의견이 중심이 되어 개별화전환계획을 수립 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고 실행함으로써 학생과 가족이 참여하는 개별화전환계획 수립 과정의 모델을 보여주었다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

        L2 Listening Comprehension and Learner Perception of LCPs by Reading-while-listening

        The aim of this study was to examine the effect of ‘reading-while-listening’ input on L2 listening comprehension and learners’ perceptual change in listening comprehension problems (LCPs) pertaining to metacognitive awareness in test-based EFL listening contexts. Forty-eight undergraduates were assigned to one of the two intervention groups: (1) ‘reading aloud while listening’ (RAWL); (2) ‘reading silently while listening’ (RSWL). For data collection, this study utilized a pre- and a post-listening comprehension tests and surveys questionning the participants’ LCPs. The results revealed that overall both RAWL and RSWL input modes benefited comprehension by L2 beginners regardless of the interventions: reading aloud and silently while listening. In terms of LCPs beliefs, the RAWL influenced more positively on the participants’ perceptual change of LCPs relevant to metacognitive awareness than the RSWL. In particular, the RAWL input mode was more likely to be effective on ‘words’ and ‘meaning’ factors of LCPs. This seemed to be ascribable to oral plus aural effects as input enhancement by repetitivedly reading texts with L1 glossed key words.

      • High Performance Liquid Chromatography에 의한 Porphyomonas gingivalis W50의 대사산물 분석

        Porphyomonas gingioalis(P. gingivalis) has been implicated as a strong pathogen in periodontal disease and short chain fatty acids(SCFA) which present in periodontal pockets have been shown to play a role in periodontal diseases. The pupose of This study is intended to analyse metabolic acids of P. gingivalis and then to detect the presence of SCFA. Metabolic acids extracted from a 48 hours PYG culture and measured by high performance liquid chromatography. These results suggest that the metabolic acids of P. gingivalis W50 are acetic acid, pyruvic acid, lactic acid, fumaric acid, propionic acid, isobutyric acid, butyric acid, hydroxyphenyl acetic acid, isovaleric acid, valerie acid and phenylacetic acid.
