        양계 농업인의 작업장 환경 및 개인보호구 착용 실태조사

        Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the actual condition of the farm work environment and personal protective equipment as part of the effort to improve livestock work for the safety and health of poultry farmers and provide basic data for establishing plans to improve and develop personal protective equipment. Methods: For this purpose, a questionnaire survey on general information about stables, the poultry work environment, accidents, the wearing of work clothes and personal protective equipment, and the level of awareness related to personal protective equipment was conducted among 148 poultry farmers. Results: As a result, it was found that poultry workplace environment was exposed to such risks as fine dusts; organic dusts; poisonous gases; odorous substances; chicken excrement; contact with chickens, bacteria or viruses; and accidents related to machine operation. Thirteen percent of respondents suffered severe respiratory diseases, and the most frequently injured sites due to accidents were the hands (25.7%), knees (23.8%), arms (17.3%), and head (10.9%). The most frequent type of accident was collisions between the body and obstacles or machinery during movement (36.4%), followed by erroneous machine operation such as feeders and electric shocks (8.5%). Regarding the wearing of work clothes and personal protective equipment, 51.7% of the respondents wore worn-out clothing or everyday clothes, whereas only 32.0% wore work clothes. The percentage of farmers who wore proper protective equipment for the work environment during poultry work was 48.4%. The most frequently used type of protective equipment was boots (38.9%), followed by mask (36.7%), gloves (36.3%), appropriate work clothes (22.6%), quarantine clothes (17.6%), helmets (13.4%), and goggles (12.6%). The rate of wearing goggles was low because they were considered inconvenient and lowered work efficiency. Furthermore, they purchased everyday products available on the market for their personal protective equipment which were not appropriate for maintaining safety in an actual harmful environment and its consequent risks. As a result of the survey of the awareness level related to personal protective equipment, their levels of awareness of accidents and attitude proved to be average or higher, but the practice of wearing protective equipment and the level of knowledge and management of personal protective equipment were lower. Conclusion: This survey found that the wearing status of personal protective equipment among poultry farmers was insufficient even though they were exposed to risks. Most respondents were aware of the necessity of wearing personal protective equipment and of the potential for accidents, but they did not wear proper protective equipment. Their wearing rate was low due to a lack of knowledge about protective equipment, as well as the inconvenience of wearing it. Therefore there is a need to improve and develop specialized personal protective equipment for respiration, hands, and eyes, as well as work clothes that can protect farmers from major harmful matter that is generated in the poultry workplace. Based on the results of this investigation, we will conduct further studies on the required performance and design directions of personal protective equipment while collecting more objective data through field-oriented assessments.

        황련해독탕 추출액의 각막염 원인균에 대한 항균효과

        Objectives: The goal of this project was to measure the antibacterial effectiveness of Hwangryunhaedok-tang (barberry root decoction for detoxification) and its constituents. All of the active ingredients including the final product were prepared using high-pressure sterilization for use as medicinal eye drops. The varying forms of Hwangryunhaedok-tang (barberry root decoction for detoxification) were used to treat Staphylococcus epidermidis and Enterococcus faecalis which are found in keratitis. Methods: The antibacterial effect was measured by observing the presence or absence of antimicrobial activity when treated with varying concentrations of Hwangryunhaedok-tang extract. The tests were performed using a dosage of $70{\mu}l$ dosages of 100%, 50%, 10% and 1% the extracted solution by the minimum growth inhibitory concentration measurement. Antimicrobial activity was measured by examining the correlation between dosage strength and bacterial activity from $70{\mu}l$ to $10{\mu}l$ at the same concentration. Results: 1. Hwangryunhaedok-tang (barberry root decoction for detoxification), Phellodendri Cortex, and gardenia didn't show any antimicrobial effects against S. aureus, S. epidermidis, or E. faecalis. 2. Barberry root showed antimicrobial effects against S. aureus and S. epidermidis depending on the levels of concentration but didn't show any antimicrobial effects against E. faecalis. 3. Skullcap showed antimicrobial effects against S. aureus and S. epidermidis when a dosage of 100% extract $70{\mu}l$ was used. However, did not show any antimicrobial effects at all against E. faecalis. Conclusions: Hwangryunhaedok-tang (barberry root decoction for detoxification) and its constituents such as barberry root, phellodendri cortex, skullcap, and gardenia, can be used as an alternative to antibiotic medicinal eye drops to treat keratitis. However, further research on effective uses of and efficient extraction methods are needed.

        IMT-2000망 핵심기술은 mobile IP를 이용하는 북미의 3G packet data system과 GSM망과 연계를 하는 유럽의 GPRS로 구분할 수 있다. 이러한 IMT-2000망 핵심기술은 글로벌한 로밍을 위해 Mobile IP도입을 추진하고 있다. Mobile IP상에서는 RADIUS나 DIAMETER같은 AAA 서버가 다이얼 업 컴퓨터의 인증, 허가 서비스를 제공하기 위해 사용되고 있는데, 이것은 MN에게 매우 중요하다. Mobile IP는 MN과 HA간에 강력한 인증을 요구하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 IMT-2000 환경에서 고려되고 있는 Smooth Handoff 기법에서 효과적인 AAA프로토콜의 적용에 관하여 논한다. IMT-2000 technologies are divided 3G packet data system that using mobile IP and GPRS that based on the GSM networks. These technologies Push introduce mobile IP to support seamless roaming. In mobile If environments, use AAA server such as RADIUS or DIAMETER to provide authentication service for dial-up computers. This factor is important for mobile nodes. Mobile If require strong authentication between mobile nodes and home agents. We propose application of AAA protocols for smooth handoff mechanism in IMT-2000 environments.

        3개 공단내 업종별 최적 영양염류 제거공정에 관한 연구

        Nutrient removal in the effluent of manufacturing company is considered to be the major control parameter to prevent and reduce the risk of eutrophication and red tide problems occurring in lakes, reservoir, and coastal area. Twenty eight companies out of three industrial complex(Chungju, Yeochon, Iksan) producing more than 60㎎/L of total nitrogen(T-N) in the effluent were selected for detailed study. Existing treatment processes, concentrations of wastewater, and flowrate were throughly investigated. Mean values of T-N concentration from Chungju, Yeochon, and Iksan industrial complex were 297, 204, 1,613㎎/L, respectively. However, those concentrations were mostly influenced by one or few companies discharging significantly high nitrogen effluent Optimum treatment processes were proposed to bring the effluent nitrogen concentration below the regulated level using market-available technologies.

        LMI 에 기초한 연속 냉간압연기의 H^{\infty} 서보 제어기 설계

        In this paper, we design a H^\infty servo controller for gauge control of tandem cold mill. To improve the performance of the AGC(Aotomatic Gauge Control) system based on the Taylor linearized model of tandem cold mill, the H^\infty servo controller is designed to satisfy robust stability, disturbance attenuation and robust tracking properties. The H^\infty servo controller problem is modified as an usual H^\infty control problem, and the solvability condition of the H^\infty servo problem depends on the solvability of the modified H^\infty control problem. Since this modified problem does not satisfied standard assumptions for the H^\infty control problem, it is solved by an LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality) technique. Consequently, the comparison between the H^\infty servo controller and the existing PID/FF(FeedForward) controller shows the usefulness of this study.

        경주-울산일원에 대한 지역지질 특성연구 : 울산단층주변 화강암류의 잔류자기와 대자율

        A total of 469 granitic samples were collected from 44 sites in the Ulsan fault area, southeast Korea. According to the previous petrographic studies, the granitic rocks have been divided into four groups (Hornblende biotite granodiorite, Hornblende granite, Biotite granite and Alkali-feldspar granite). NRM intensities, values of low field magnetic susceptibility, and magnetic behaviors during stepwise demagnetization experiments suggest rather a three-fold classification: In this scheme, Hornblende granite and Biotite granite are grouped together, as they did not show any significant differences in magnetic characteristics. Based on the Ishihara (1979)'s criterion, Alkali-feldspar granite is classified as ilmenite-series granite, whereas others are classified as magnetite-series granite. In the eastern part of the study area including the Tertiary basin area, declinations of site-mean characteristic remanent magnetizations (ChRMs) show clockwise deflection of more than 30 from the reference direction of east Asia. Both along and in the adjacent region of the Ulsan fault-line, however, no deflection of remanent direction was observed. A boundary line between the deflected and undeflected site-mean ChRMs is defined in this study, which runs roughly parallel to the Ulsan fault-line at the distance of about 6km eastward from the fault-line. We suggest that this newly found boundary line, which we call Yonil tectonic line, released dextral simple shear stress acted in the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula during the opening stage of the East Sea in the Early Cenozoic.

        Liposome 에 의한 식물 원형질체내로 Phytochrome 의 도입

        Introduction of oat phytochrome into oat protoplast by liposomes has been studied as a tool to develop a system that could identify phytochrome receptor(s) in situ and an in vivo assay method of phytochrome activity. The encapsulation efficiency of phytochrome into liposomes was determined by fluorescence and radioisotope techniques; ^(125)I-labeled phytochrome was encapsulated into rhodamine-B-labeled liposomes and fluorescein-labeled phytochrome into ^(14)C-phosphatidylcholine (PC)-labeled liposomes. Phytochrome retained its characteristic absorbance spectrum, after encapsulated into liposomes by the Ca^(2+)-EDTA chelation method. Of three different compositions of liposomal lipids tested, liposome made of phosphatidylserine (PS) supplemented with 50% cholesterol (PS/Chol liposome) showed the highest encapsulation of phytochrome per unit amount of phospholipid (5.6×10^(13) molecules/μ㏖ PL). Phytochrome was also less associated on the surface of the PS/Chol liposome than on the surface of the other liposomes. When liposomes entrapping phytochrome were incubated with protoplasts, the amount of PL associated with protoplasts was higher with a hybrid liposome (PS/PC/Chol/stearylamine) but total number of phytochrome incorporated into protoplasts was higher with the PS/Chol liposome, apparently due to the leakage of phytochrome during liposome-protoplast interactions. The PS/Chol liposome prepared by the Ca^(2+)-EDTA chelation method found suitable for delivering phytochrome into protoplasts. Under the conditions tested in the present study, 2∼3×10^6 phytochrome molecules could be introduced into a protoplast.

        IOIO (Infraorbital-Intraoral) 절개선을 이용한 상악골 절제술

        Surgical resection of tumors in the maxillofacial region sometimes results in extended defects of soft and hard tissue that frequently causes aesthetic, functional and especially mental damages. It is essential for patients with such facial defects to reduce the scar and maxillofacial asymmetry. To attain esthetic facial appearance after hemimaxillectomy, we devise a new design, so called 'IOIO Incision' (InfraOrbital-IntraOral incision). The new approach is established on infraorbital region to expose maxillofacial skeleton in aspect of face. And the other incision is designed on intraoral region. The IOIO incision provide excellent aesthetic result after hemimaxillectomy, because of reduced minimal facial scar contraction. Maxillofacial surgeons are used to designing Weber-Fergusson incision in resection of maxillofacial tumors, but disadvantages of the incision were large scar and asymmetry of face. To improve theses problem, we attempted IOIO Incision.. For correct osteotomy of posterolateral wall of maxillary sinus, 1. Fenestra formation on zygomatic body for easily access of reciprocating saw to posterolateral wall of maxillary sinus. 2. To achieve better visual field in posterolateral aspect of maxilla, fat tissue is removed from infratemporal fossa. This new, versatile procedure can be used for benign and malignant lesions of the maxillary area. We introduce cases with review of literatures.

        소형 가스터빈 엔진용 발전기 성능개선 및 모델링 연구

        In this paper, the performance improvement and modeling of small onboard generator were described. As the characteristics of the field coil which are a major parameters of generator were improved, the system bandwidth could be increased, therefore the generator could also be satisfied with fast characteristic loads. Established the brief control model of the generator, it could be possible to do the analysis of generator performance, and improve the operational stability of the generator system using the control model.
