기계학습을 이용한 직원들의 이직의도 예측 : SMOTE 기법과 Stacking 기법을 활용하여

직원들의 이직은 회사에 많은 비용을 초래하므로 사전에 직원들의 이직의도를 파악하여 이직을 예방하기 위한 시도의 하나로서 최근 급속히 발전하고 있는 기계학습 방법을 사용하였다. 그런데 이직 데이터의 경우, 이직하지 않은 경우와 이직한 경우 사이에 불균형 데이터(Imbalanced Dataset) 상황이 생겨 단순한 기계학습 모델의 예측 성능은 제한적일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 첫 단계로 KNN, 랜덤 포레스트, 의사결정 나무, 서포트 벡터 머신, AdaBoost 등의 단일 기계학습 모델들을 활용하여 이직의사를 예측하고 정확도를 계산하였다. 두 번째 단계에서는, 변수 클래스를 균형화 할 수 있는 오버샘플링 기법 중의 하나인 SMOTE 기법을 사용하여 데이터를 균형화 한 후 단일 기계학습 모델들을 적용하여 이직의도를 예측하고 정확도를 측정하였다. 마지막으로, Stacking 기법을 도입하여 SMOTE 적용 전, 후의 데이터를 활용하여 이직의도를 예측하였다. SMOTE 기법을 사용한 경우가 SMOTE 기법을 사용하지 않은 경우보다 예측 정확도가 더 높았고, Stacking 기법을 적용한 경우의 예측 정확도가 단일 알고리즘을 적용했을 때 보다 더 높았다. 결과적으로 본 연구는, 불균형 데이터를 사용하여 이직의도를 예측할 때에는 SMOTE 기법을 사용하여 처리한 데이터에 Stacking 기법을 활용하는 것이 모델의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

어텐션 기반의 지속학습에서 정규화값 제어 방법

In this paper, we propose an algorithm that applies a different variable lambda to each loss value to solve theperformance degradation caused by domain differences in LwF, and show that the retention of past knowledge isimproved. The lambda value could be variably adjusted so that the current task to be learned could be welllearned, by the variable lambda method of this paper. As a result of learning by this paper, the data accuracyimproved by an average of 5% regardless of the scenario. And in particular, the performance of maintaining pastknowledge, the goal of this paper, was improved by up to 70%, and the accuracy of past learning data increasedby an average of 22% compared to the existing LwF. 본 논문에서는 LwF에서 도메인 차이에 따른 성능 하락 현상을 해결하기 위해, 각 손실값에 각각 다른 가변람다를 적용하는 알고리즘을 제안하여, 향상된 과거 지식유지가 이루어 지게 한다. 이 지식 전달 기반의 방법을 LwF와 접목하여, 과거 학습 태스크의 지식 유지 성능을 강화하였다. 가변 람다 방법을 추가적으로 적용하여, 현재 학습할 태스크를 잘 학습할 수 있도록 람다 값을 가변적으로 조절할 수 있었다. 본 논문의 제안 방법을 적용하여 학습한 결과 시나리오에 상관없이 평균 5% 정도 데이터의 정확도가 향상하였고, 특히 본 논문의 목표인 과거 지식을 유지하는 성능이 최대 70% 가까이 개선되었고, 과거 학습 데이터의 정확도가 기존LwF 대비 평균 22% 상승하였다.

로렌스의 극이 소설에 미친 영향 : A Collier's Friday Night과 Sons and Lovers를 중심으로

Lawrence makes his theatrical ambitions quite clear in the revolutionary manifesto addressed to his literary advisor Edward Garnett, where he compares confidently himself with Tchekhov in Russia. He also criticizes his immediate precedent dramatists in England and Ireland as 'the rule, and measure mathematical folk' to get free from their authority, and denounces their plays as 'bony and bloodless'. Lawrence's fiction is intrinsically dramatic. This can be well understood by the fact that many of his novels and short stories have been translated into plays for television and film screen. Although Lawrence's genius was for fiction rather than drama, it was clearly his early apprenticeship to the theatre that made him a great novelist. Lawrence's early experience as a playwright influenced his development as a novelist in two ways. First it was in his early colliery plays that he first employed the autobiographical material that inspired his finest fiction. Secondly by writing for the stage, Lawrence acquired a command of the dramatic techniques - the use of sets, dialogue, and scenes - which vitalized his subsequent novels. A Collier's Friday Night anticipates Sons and Lovers by portraying the characters, relationships, conflicts, and settings from Lawrence's own background. The victory of the son over the father for the mother's favour marks the resolution of the family love triangle into Oedipal couple of mother and son. This central couple also overcomes the romantic love triangle by defeating the son's sweetheart in both A Collier's Friday Night and Sons and Lovers. Jessie Chambers declares in her memoirs, 'In Sons and Lovers Lawrence handed his mother the laurels of victory.' But it was seven years earlier, in A Collier's Friday Night, that Lawrence crowned his mother 'Lydia Victrix.' That's because the play is a kind of draft for the novel.

투신사 구조조정 문제의 현황과 대책

투신사 부실은 투자자의 잘못된 인식으로부터 출발하여 주가부양을 위한 12ㆍ12조치 등 정부의 정책오류로 가시화 된 후 대우사태를 겪으며 급속히 확대되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 증시침체를 우려해 투신권 구조조정이 지연되면서 금융시장이 투자자들의 신뢰를 상실하였으며, 이는 금융시장 불안의 주요인으로 작용하고 있다. 정부는 은폐위주의 미봉책에서 탈피하여 부실을 야기한 주체에 대한 법적 책임을 부과하는 가운데 충분한 양의 공적자금을 신속히 투입하여 금융시장의 안정을 도모해야 한다.

퍼지집합을 이용한 표적식별융합 기법의 성능

Multi-sensor data fusion is an emerging technology applied to military applications such as automatic identification, analysis of battlefield situations, and threat assessments. We can obtain more accurate and efficient meaningful information through multi-sensor data fusion that may not be possible from a single sensor alone. Especially, identification fusion is very important in order to estimate and correspond battlefield situation as well as analyze threat assessments. In this paper we present a novel heuristic identification fusion method using fuzzy set theory, because fuzzy set can deal with imprecise concepts mathematically via an extension of boolean set. We adopt desirable properties from not only parametric classification technique but also cognitive-based models in order to meet the realtime processing requirements.

Embedded System을 위한 OS중에 하나인 Windows CE에 대한 사용폭이 확대되면서 여러 가지 요소기술의 개발의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Windows CE OS에서의 실행감지 모듈을 개발하기 위한 방법론을 논하고 그 범위를 살펴본다. 이런 방법론은 실시간 실행감지가 필요한 파일 익스플로러, 바이러스백신, 게임 프로그램 등에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 그 방법으로 파일시스템 드라이버의 Wrapper 드라이버와 블록디바이스 드라이버의 필터 드라이버에 의한 방식을 Notification Hooking을 사용하는 방식과 비교하여 효율적인 방법을 찾아본다.

Although dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in air has been applied to a wider range of aftertreatment processes for HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants), due to its high electron density and energy, its potential use as precharging dust particles is not well known. In this work, we measured size distributions of bimodal aerosol particles and estimated collection efficiency of the particles by an electrostatic precipitator (ESP) using DBD as particle charger. To examine the particle collection with DBD charger, nano size particles of NaCl(20∼100nm) and DOS (50∼500nm) were generated by a tube furnace and an atomizer, respectively. For experimental conditions of 60㎐, 11㎸ and 60 lpm, the particle collection efficiency for the hybrid system was over 85%, based on the number of particles captured.

표준화를 적용한 개방형 분산데이터베이스 관리체계의 설계모형

This paper presents an open model for distributed database management systems based on Open Systems Interconnection. In order to improve the extensibility and the complexity of integrating different local database systems, it is reasonable that open distributed database management systems (ODDBMSs) should implement the international standard protocols on the distributed transaction processing. To guarantee the atomic commitment of global transactions, two-phase commitment protocol is recommended according to the distributed transaction processing. It is also desirable to adopt the remote database access (RDA) protocol as a communication mechanism between local database systems, because the RDA standard specifies the functionality of a database server within an open distributed environment and specifies the communication services and protocols for accessing its capabilities.
