        농촌지도공무원의 직무만족과 조직환경 및 역할갈등의 관계

        The objectives of this study were to measure organizational environment, role conflict and job satisfaction of agricultural extension educators, to verify the differences of organizational environment, role conflict and job satisfaction according to individual characteristics, and to identify the relationships between job satisfaction and organizational environment and role conflict. The data were collected through mailed questionnaires from 300 agricultural extension educators who were sampled by the proportional sampling method and the cluster sampling method all over the country. The statistical techniques used for this study were t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation, and multiple regression analysis.■ 교신저자: 김진모(gimmy81@snu.ac.kr) The major findings of the study were as follows: (1) The agricultural extension educators had a somewhat negative attitude about their organizational environment, felt weak role conflict, and were not very satisfied with their jobs. (2) Organizational environment was not significantly associated with sex, level of schooling, and field of specialization, but was significantly associated with age, years of work experience, locality level of agency, and position. (3) Role conflict was not significantly associated with sex, age, level of schooling, years of work experience, position, locality level of agency, and field of specialization. (4) Job satisfaction was not significantly associated with sex, age, level of schooling, and field of specialization, but was significantly associated with years of work experience, locality level of agency, and position. (5) Job satisfaction of agricultural extension educators was positively correlated with organizational environment and was negatively correlated with role conflict. They all had statistical significances. (6) As a result of multiple regression analysis, the degree of explanation of organizational environment and role conflict to job satisfaction was about 41%. The more important variable for explaining the job satisfaction of agricultural extension educators was organizational environment.

        농촌지도공무원의 역량수준 진단

        이 연구의 목적은 농촌지도공무원들의 역량을 진단하는데 있었다. 이를 위해 김진모(2006)가 제시한 농촌지도공무원의 역량모델을 바탕으로 개별 역량의 정의문을 질문문항으로 개발하였고,이를 전체 농촌지도공무원이 역량에 대한 숙련도 수준을 참고하여 각 문항별로 자신의 수준을 자기평가하도록 하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째,우리나라 농촌지도공무원의 역량수준은 개발목표 대비 그리 높은 수준은 아니었다. 따라서 현재의 역량수준을 획기적으로 제고할 수 있는 노력이 조직 및 개인 차원에서 시급히 이루어져야 한다. 오늘 날 농촌지도사업의 성패는 농촌지도공무원의 역량에 따라 좌우된다고 해도 과언이 아니기 때문이다. 둘째,연령과 근무기간이 많아질수록 역량지수는 상대적으로 낮았다. 이는 신규지도사의 선발 이후 전문성을 체계적으로 개발할 수 있는 조직적 차원의 지원이 필요함을 보여준다. 조직적 차원의 지원으로는 계층별로 맞춤화된 다양한 역량강화 방안 등을 고려할 수 있을 것이다. 셋째,역량진단을 통해 우선적으로 강화시켜야 할 역량들은 기초직무 역량군에 속하는 여러 역량들과 전문직무 역량군의 기술/주제 전문성 등이었다. 이러한 역량들을 효과적으로 개발하기 위해서는 정규교육만으로는 한계가 많기 때문에 다양한 형태의 육성방안을 모색해야 한다. 이상의 연구결과가 실제적으로 활용되기 위해서는,우선 농촌지도 공무원의 역량 중심 계충 교육과정을 개발하여 실시해야 한다. 또한,농촌지도공무원의 경력개발 체계를 수립하여 실시하고,이들의 부족한 역량을 강화시켜 줄 수 있는 다양한 방법들을 개발하여 실천하려는 노력이 수반되어야 한다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the competency levels of rural extension workers in Korea. A survey questionnaire was developed using a Competency Model by Dr. Kim(2006), and a self-test was conducted for all of the extension workers in Korea. Based on the findings of this study, the major conclusions were as follows. First, the competency levels of rural extension workers in Korea were not so high for their development goal. The organizational and personal efforts were urgently made for dramatically raising the present competency level. Second, the higher the age and the working period were, the lower their competency index were. It shows that the organizational support is needed for systematically developing the expertise of rural extension workers after being employed as new rural extension workers. Third, the main competencies that should be first strengthened through competency assessment were several competencies in foundational competency cluster and a subject-matter expertise in technical competency cluster. Various forms of strategies for developing these competencies should be sought because the only formal training is not enough to effectively develop these competencies. To practically utilize the result of this study, the following measures should be taken. First, a competency-based curriculum by position level for rural extension workers was developed and implemented, In addition, career development systems for rural extension workers were set up and carried out, and the efforts to develop and apply the various approaches for their insufficient competencies should be made.

        下背部痛 치료를 위한 硬膜外腔內 Steroid 注入

        The injection of steroid preparation at the epidural space was first emploied in 1953 by Lievre. Since then a number of similar methods have been published which confirm the value of the methods. Our study was carried out in Kei Myung Univ. Hospital over 2½ years periods. Of a total 54 patients complainied lower back pain and sciatica were treated by epidural injection of methyl prednisolone acetate (Depomedrol 80mg in 5cc normal saline) The result was good and this theatment seem to be a valuable adjunct to the management of lower back pain and sciatica.

        지속적 과환기에 따른 뇌척수액과 혈액가스치의 변화

        Acid-base balance in CSF have been reported by a number of groups during past 20 years. CSF contained only negligible concentration of buffer anion other than HCO3. Acid-base balance in the CSF depend mainly on arterial PCO₂ because arterial CO₂ diffuses easily into the blood brain barrier to form H₂CO3 in CSF. This study was undertaken to observe the changes of PH, PCO₂,base excess and actual HCO₃, values in CSF in the controlled hyperventilation. The changes in pH and actual HCO₃, Base Excess in CSF of anesthetized , non-curarized 7 dogs during continous controlled hyperventilation were compared with those changes when the blood acid-base parameters were kept at normal level. Both groups were mechanically ventilated to maintain a constant PaCO₂ 20 torr. The PH , PCO₂, actual「HCO₃」,and Base Excess in cisternal CSF and arterial blood were determined at normal condition as a control group shortly after induction of controlled hyperventilation thereafter, were measured at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 3.5, 5.5 and 7.5 hours. The results were as follows : 1) The pH of CSF in the controlled group was significantly lower than that of arterial blood and the Pcsf CO₂ was 10 torr higher than PaCO₂. 2) The standard 「HCO₃」and BE seemed to be compenasting after continous hyperventilation of 3.5 hours and reached to the values of the controlled group. 3) The Pcsf CO₂ decreased rapidly during hyperventilation and than, was maintained in a parallel distance with PaCO₂.

        농촌리더의 교육요구분석

        이 연구의 목적은 농촌리더들의 교육요구를 분석하는 데 있었다. 연구목적의 달성을 위 해서 문헌고찰을 통해 농촌리더들의 역량을 분석하고, 농촌리더 100명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 통해 농촌리더들의 역량에 따른 교육요구를 조사하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 다 음과 같다. 첫째, 농촌리더의 역량을 분석한 결과, 네트워크, 구성원 육성, 문제해결, 의 사결정, 상담, 기획력, 비전수립 및 제시, 설득 및 협상, 창의적 사고, 사업기획 및 관리, 의사전달, 변화선도, 팀워크, 모니터링, 지도력, 경청, 정보수집 및 활용, 벤치마킹 등 18 개 역량이 도출되었으며, 모든 역량에서 교육요구가 확인되었다. 둘째, Borich 요구도 분석과 The Locus for Focus 모델 분석을 통하여 구성원 육성, 지역 네트워크, 기획력, 상담 등 4개의 교육 우선순위 역량과 설득 및 협상, 문제해결 등 2개의 교육 차우선순위 역량이 도출되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 농촌리더의 역량을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료로서 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 나아가 우선순위가 높은 역량들을 통합적으로 다루는 리더십 교육과정을 설계하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study aimed to identify educational needs of farmer leaders. To this end, literature review was carried out to analyze competencies of the farmer leaders. Educational needs for each competency of the farmer leaders were identified based on a survey and a data analysis. The data was collected from 100 farmer leaders by both mail and email. The results of the study are as follows. First, the results of the analysis of the competencies of the farmer leader are as follows: network, training the members, problem solving, decision making, counseling, planning ability, vision establishment and presentation, persuasion and negotiation, creative thinking, business planning and management, communication, leading change, teamwork, monitoring, leadership, listening, information gathering and utilization, and benchmarking. The educational needs were confirmed at all competencies. Second, through the Borich’s needs analysis and the Locus for Focus model, four priority competencies such as training the members, local network, planning ability and counseling were derived, and two secondary competencies such as persuasion and negotiation, problem solving were derived. The results of this study are expected to be useful as basic data to improve the competencies of the farmer leaders. Furthermore, it can contribute to designing a leadership curriculum that integrates high priority competencies.

        심폐소생술시 Isosorbide Dinitrate(Isoket)가 관상 동맥 관류압에 미치는 효과

        Background : Coronary perfusion pressure(CPP) is the most important factor for the success of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR). Therefore, CPP must be optimized during the resuscitation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of isosorbide dinitrate(Isoket ) on CPP during CPR. Methods : 10 Korean dogs were divided into two groups: Group I(N=5) was resuscitated with infusion of isosorbide dinitrate(1 g /kg/min) and Group II(N=5) was resuscitated without using isosorbide dinitrate. Following CPR, the heart rate(HR), blood pressure(BP), pulmonary capillary wedge pressure, cardiac output(CO), CPP and endocardial viability ratio(EVR) were measured repeatedly. Results : The changes in HR were not significantly different between the two groups but systolic and diastolic BP, CO, CPP and EVR were well maintained in group 1. Conclusions : These results suggest that the usual dosage of isosorbide dinitrate is effective in improving CPP and EVR on CPR after impending cardiac arrest.       • 農村 靑少年의 家庭生活에 관한 價値觀

        The purposes of the study were to investigate the values of the rural youth in relation to family living, and to compare changes in the values with the similar study of the reseacher of 1970 in Korea. Data were collected by undergraduate and graduate students of the Seoul National University from randomly selected 993 rural youths of 13 to 24 years of age through questionnaire method. The data were analyzed by HP 3000 Computer in the College of Agriculture, Seoul National University. Major statistical techniques used for the study were frequency, percentile, chi square test. Statistical significance was tested at 0.05 level. The major findings of the study were as follows; 1. It was revealed that values on family living were changed into modern democratic ideals from traditional Confucian values 2. The view of respondents that the first son should take care of parents has decreased from 32.8% in 1970 to 23.8% in 1984. The Respondents who think that one of sons should take care of parents has increased from 45.8% in 1970 to 60.8% in 1984. 3. The rate of respondents claiming that the head of a family should govern the family with authority and dignity has increased from 61.1%in 1970 to 68.3% in 1984. 4. The respondents claiming that the head of a family should decide the important things of family living dogmatically has decreased from 16.9% in 1970 to 8.1% in 1984. 5. The rate of respondents claiming that father should respect mother's opinion in family has increased from 78.6% in 1970 to 90.5% in 1984. 6. The rate of respondents claiming that fathers should understand the things of children with maximum degree has increased from 86.8% in 1970 to 93.8% in 1984.

      • 홍화로부터 적색소 Carthamin 의 추출 특성

        Safflower contains two color pigments. Yellow pigment is the safflor yellow which is water-soluble, and red pigment is the carthamin which is water-insoluble. However, cathamin is soluble in alcohol or alkalic solution. The pH conditions of carthamin extraction from safflower were examined using several alkalic solution such as sodium carbonate(Na₂CO₃), potassium carbonate(K₂CO₃), sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide(KOH). Based on this study, the best extraction solvent is Na₂CO₃ solution. The best conditions of extraction with pH for each solution were pH 11.0 for Na₂CO₃ and K₂CO₃, and pH 11.5 for NaOH and KOH. Therefore, the optimum condition of carthamin extraction in this experiment is pH 11.0 using Na₂CO₃, and extraction time of Na₂CO₃ is 30 minute.
