The efficacies of six commercial disinfectants were evaluated by using Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium under simulated natural conditions such as sub-zero temperature, short disinfecting time, and surface type (uneven or smooth). We used a suspensionmodel test to determine the disinfecting efficacy under varying contact times (1, 5, 10, and 30 min) and temperatures (25oC, 4oC, 0oC, and −10oC). The bactericidal effect according to surface structure was measured by using a carriermodel test at 25oC and −10oC. The effective concentrations of each disinfectant were fixed to give a disinfecting effect within a short time (< 1 min) at 25oC and −10oC. The suspension model results revealed that bactericidal efficacy significantly dropped at low temperature for most of the disinfectants used; a sodium dichloroisocyanurate product showed the strongest efficacy. In the carrier test, bacterial load on a wooden surface was more difficult to remove than that on a stainless-steel surface. The results show that commercial disinfectant products vary in their disinfecting efficacy, which is affected by several field factors including temperature, contact time, and carrier material. Environmental conditions and surface type for disinfection should be considered prior to selecting an optimal disinfectant in the field.
大學의 空間構造와 成長에 관한 硏究 : 延世大學校의 建物密度指數를 中心으로

It has been recognized for sometime that important relationships exist between a regional economy and its spatial structure. In this study we focused on verification of the relationships between the spatial structure of university campus and growth. First, earlier works on the theory of urban spatial structure are reviewed and general concept of utility function in university campus is suggestted. To find what changes the spatial structure of university campus, we employed building density in the empirical study of Yonsei University. The results tell us that it is almost unavailable to expand horizontally but vertical or separate expansion is available. Next, it is considered whether the changes of spatial structure can explain university growth relating to increase of students, expansion of university campus, and establishment of branch school. Here we found that increase of students changes the building density, which is resulted in changes of spatial structure. Finally, to set up the model which can explain the optimal building density of university campus, utility function of constitunts should be suggested for further study of testing for the optimum size of university campus.
태양광발전시스템의 현황에 기반한 공공시설물 디자인 유형에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic data that can improve the form of public facilities and the beauty of the city and the safety of the facilities by proposing the design guideline of the solar public facilities considering city aesthetics, safety and efficiency. The research methods include theoretical review of photovoltaic power generation system, research on the technical factors and application status of photovoltaic power generation system, analysis of installation type and problem setting, design direction setting, installation The study was conducted as a way of presenting the design guide. In the design guide, basic principles for minimizing ornamental elements and enhancing structural safety and efficiency are provided for sustainable solar installation in harmony with urban landscape, and the form, layout, structure, color, The detailed principles of materials are presented. It is important to note that the installation of photovoltaic power generation systems in public facilities is expected to increase gradually in the future through this research, and thus it is important that the photovoltaic power generation system is installed in harmony with the surrounding environment and effectively applied to public facilities. I hope to be able to. 본 연구는 도시미관, 안전성, 효율성 등을 고려한태양광 공공시설물 디자인가이드라인을 제안하여 공공시설물 형태 및 도시미관의 개선과 시설물의 안전성 확보가 가능한 기초적 자료 제공을 목적으로 하고있다. 연구방법으로는 사회기반시설 및 교통관련 시설, 소규모 공공시설물 등을 대상으로 태양광발전시스템의 이론적 고찰, 태양광발전시스템 기술요소와 적용현황 조사, 설치유형 분석 및 문제점 도출, 디자인방향 설정, 설치기준 등 디자인가이드 제시의 방법으로연구를 진행하였다. 디자인가이드에서는 도시경관과 조화된 지속가능한태양광 설치를 위해 시설물 고유의 형태를 고려하고장식적 요소를 최소화 하고 구조적 안전성 및 효율성을 제고하기 위한 기본원칙을 제시하였고, 형태, 배치, 구조, 색채, 재료에 대해 세부원칙을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 점차 증가할 것으로 예측되는공공시설물에의 태양광발전시스템의 설치가 도시경관에 중요한 요소라는 점에 유의하여 태양광발전시스템이 주변 환경에 따라 조화롭게 설치되고, 공공시설물에 효과적으로 적용될 수 있기를 기대해본다.
