Successful Laparoscopic-Assisted Ovariohysterectomy in a Cat with Pyometra

Laparoscopic-assisted ovariohysterectomy was performed in a cat (2.7 kg) with pyometra. A 10-mm operative laparoscope was inserted into the abdomen through an umbilical port. A transabdominal suspension suture was placed to maintain the exposure of the ovarian vascular pedicle. The ovarian vascular pedicle and suspensory ligament were progressively cauterized and transected with 5-mm multifunction bipolar grasping forceps. Both ovaries and the uterus were exteriorized via 5-mm caudal port enlarged to 2 cm. The uterine body and associated arteries were ligated,transfixed, and transected under direct vision. No peri- or post-operative complications were encountered. To the authors’knowledge, this is the first report of the use of laparoscopy for the treatment of pyometra in the cat.
예비교사의 스마트교육역량이 교수학습지도안의 스마트교육 활용도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of smart educational competency of pre-service teachers on smart tools usage of teaching design, to obtain foundational material in order to provide educational activities for pre-service teachers. Results of this paper, show that smart educational competency as the student orientation, teaching design and development, comprehension of future education increased by 1, degree of smart tools usage of teaching design each increased .175, .085, .119, but the professional understanding of contents and reflective thinking increased by 1, degree of smart tools usage of teaching design each decreased .249, .246. And as the professional understanding of contents and reflective thinking increased by 1, level of smart tools usage of teaching design each decreased .248, .243. Based on such research results, this study proposes two. First, this study proposes that we must include capacity to empathize with students based on have positive expectation and communication, understanding for future education, design teaching, in contents for pre-service teachers. Second, this study proposes latter researches about moderating variables have the potential to alleviate negative relation between this abilities and smart tools usage will start, because major expertise and reflective thinking is essential in teachers successfully doing major class. 본 연구의 목적은 예비교사의 스마트교육역량이 스마트도구 활용도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 있다. 분석의 결과, 스마트교육역량 중에서 학습자 지향성과 수업설계 및 개발, 미래교육의 이해가 1 증가할수록 교수학습지도안의 스마트도구 활용 정도는 각각 .175, .085, .119만큼 높아지는 반면, 내용전문성과 반성적 성찰이 1 증가할수록 교수학습지도안의 스마트도구 활용 정도는 각각 .249과 .246만큼 낮아졌다. 그리고 스마트교육역량 중에서 내용전문성과 반성적 성찰이 1 증가할수록 수업설계의 스마트도구 활용 수준은 각각 .248과 .243만큼 낮아졌다. 연구결과를 기반으로 다음 두 가지를 제안 하였다. 첫째, 예비교사 교육과정에 학습자에 대한 긍정적인 기대감과 소통을 기반으로 공감대를 형성하는 능력, 미래교육을 이해할 수 있는 내용, 수업을 설계하고 개발하는 능력을 포함시킬 것을 제안하였다. 둘째, 교사가 교과 수업을 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 내용전문성과 반성적 성찰이 필수적으로 요구되므로, 이 능력들과 스마트도구 활용도 간의 부적 관계를 개선할 수 있는 조절변인들을 탐색하는 후속연구가 필요함을 제안하였다.

In this report, laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy (LOHE) was performed on two, healthy, intact female dogs. Three ports, umbilical port for placing the laparoscope and the left and right paramedian instrument ports were placed into the abdominal cavity. First, in order to isolate the right ovary, the vascular pedicle was coagulated by activating the universal bipolar forceps. Then, the pedicle and suspensory ligament were transected by the bipolar electrocauterization scissors. In the same manner, the left ovary was isolated. The uterine body and the uterine arteries were coagulated bilaterally and transected just rostral to the cervix. The isolated ovaries and uterus were exteriorized through the left paramedian instrument port, which was extended by approximately 1 cm to allow for tissue removal. The skin and subcutaneous tissue were closed in a routine manner. Surgical times for LOHE in two dogs were 35, 40 min respectively. Total length of abdominal incision was shorter than 3 cm in two dogs. No clinical complications related to the LOHE were observed during 1.5 years after surgery. The LOHE is an alternative surgical technique that deserves further investigation.

The plasma processing technologies of thin film deposition and surface treatment technique have been applied to many industrial fields. This study is purposed Large-area uniformity and surface treatment on the stainless substrate. We treat surface of stainless by $CF_4$ plasma. $CF_4$ plasma is generated by using SPM(Scanning plasma method)which is kind a of CVD. Generally, SPM has been used for uniform surface treatment using a crossed electromagnetic field. The optimum discharge condition has been studied for the gas pressure, the magnetic flux density and the distance between substrate and electrodes. In result, contact angle is increased by surface treatment using $CF_4$ Plasma. Therefore we expect that SPM to control contact angle is applied to many industries.
