        뇌졸중 위험인자를 가진 어지럼 환자에서의 확산강조 자기공명영상

        Background: The management of vertiginous patients is a great challenge to emergency physicians. We evaluated the diagnostic value of a diffusion-weighted image(DWI) in differentiating central vertigo from the peripheral vertigo in patients who presented no neurological symptoms other than risk factors for stroke. Methods: From March 2000 to February 2001, we retrospectively analyzed the cases of 68 patients who visited the emergency department with symptoms of isolated vertigo and who had risk factors for stroke. DWIs, computed tomograms(CT), and medical records were reviewed, and the final diagnose, the DWIs and the CT readings, the risk factors for stroke, and the time it took waiting for a DWI or CT scan were analyzed. Results: Of the 68 patients, 21(30.8%) had central vertigo: 15 vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attacks(VB-TIA), 4 brain stem infarctions, 1 cerebellar infarction, and 1 cerebellopeduncular infarction. The DWI showed a 28.6% sensitivity, a 97.9% specificity, and an 85.7% positive predictive value in diagnosing central vertigo. It also had a 100% sensitivity in detecting infarctions. Conclusion: A DWI had a comparable sensitivity to MRI in detecting central vertigo and small, but potentially, lethal infarctions in our patient population. We recommend clinical application of DWI in the emergency department evaluation of isolated vertigo patients with risk factors for stroke.

        임신 중 파열된 담관낭종 1예

        Choledochal cysts are congenital dilatation of the biliary tree occurring predominantly in female. Most of the cases are diagnosed during childhood, and its presentation during pregnancy or postpartum period is rare. Choledochal cysts during pregnancy are frequently associated with complication due to the concealment of the mass by enlarged uterus. Rupture of cyst is a rare complication that occurs spontaneously in most cases. We experienced a case of ruptured choledochal cyst during pregnancy in a 28-year-old primigravida. It occurred at 32 weeks of pregnancy. A premature newborn was delivered by normal vaginal delivery. The choledochal cyst was excised, and reconstruction was carried out by Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy. Although choledochal cysts occurring in pregnancy are rare, it is important to be aware of the condition because a missed or delayed diagnosis may be catastrophic for both mother and child.

        A pocket park is valued in securing green space in downtown and improving urban view in the aspect of natural and environmental values, and it signifies a lot as the center of local residents’ community and harmony as well. Since subway exits and surroundings that have high portions in taking up street space due to lack of green space in downtown aren't made full use of, valuable pocket park place. Dangni Pocket Park of subway exits is a park completed with cooperative works and partnership by students, specialists, administrative organizations, businesses and civilian organizations, etc. without support of special budget. The study site was finally chosen to the space between exit No.1 of Dangni subway station, after analyzing the surrounding circumstances, availability and accessibility of the space among the several subway station exits of Saha, Dangni, and Hadan Station in Busan Metropolitan city. For the designing process, The Citizens organization for Million Amenity Park performed the planning and project proceeding, and 19 design drafts were proposed during the class of landscape architecture in Dong-a University. Design review panel members discussed to select the best draft in practical and authentical, and the related experts reviewed and revised to present the final design plan. The construction was conducted was performed under the cooperation between the civil, authorities, and industrial organizations, among which Saha District office managed for the waste treatment and maintenance matters. The graduates of landscape architecture department of Dong-a University and related industrial enterprises supplied landscape materials and related labors, were supported by 20 members of GPM, one of clubs of Dong-a University volunteered durig the most of construction progress, completing the Pocket Park of subway exits through partnership.

      • 기장군 녹화마스터플랜 및 가로수 기본계획

        본 계획은 급격한 도시화와 자연환경파괴의 과정에서 쾌적한 도시를 만들기 위한 도시의 녹지보전 및 확보가 중요한 과제로 정착하기 시작하는 움직임에 맞추어 도시의 녹화문제를 종합적으로 해결하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 계획에서 제시한 안은 현행의 관련법제가 뒷받침되지 못하는 관계로 법정계획에는 해당되지 않는다. 그러나 계획 추진 주체의 실천의지에 따라 그 실효성은 달라질 수도 있다. 따라서 본 계획은 향후 도시재정비계획시의 방향설정 및 공원녹지와 관련한 세부 분야의 근거가 되는 계획으로 활용이 가능할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라, 공원녹지 전반에 걸친 정비계획, 중장기 예산계획의 수립, 그리고 관련법 조례 등의 근거로 활용되기를 기대한다.

      • 도시공원의 이용후 평가에 기초한 공원의 개발지표 설정 : 부산광역시 암남공원을 사례로 Case Study of Amnam Park in Busan City

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the prime factors that affect to user postoccupancy evaluation of activities and facilities in urban parks, to classify those factors, to find out factors about them, and then to suggest important indicators in the urban park planning, design, and development. The survey research was done using the self-administered questionnaire method by 435 peoples in the Busan City who participated in recreational activities in the Amnam Park. The Analysis of the data primarily consists of two phase: The first analysis was dealt an exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in user postoccupancy evaluation with reacreational activities and facilities in Amnam Park by the SPSS(Ver.6.0) program and the second analysis was used to investigate the factors affected to user postoccupancy evaluation in the urban park by the Regression Analysis. According to the factor analysis, user postoccupancy evaluation of facilities in urban parks concerning the 20 variables, 5 prime factors by the staistical values were considered. The factor analysis showed that user postoccupancy evaluation of activities in urban parks concerning the 11 variables, 3 prime factors by the staistical values were analysed. Postoccupancy evaluation in the urban park by the Regression Analysis suggested that the two varlables as 'the directions of park development' and 'companies with the personal specific characteristics' are significant in addition to the some variables presented in user postoccupancy evaluation with reacreational activities and facilities in Amnam Park by the factor analysis. Furthomore the analysis models were identified as having significant effects on the factor and regression analysis. Overall fits of both models were very good. These significant relationships indicate important factors and variables that should be considered in planning, design, and development of the urban parks. Therefore, development direction of the h a m park has to be analyzed as significant factors concerning user postoccupancy evaluation in a systematic way, recognized as important variables for planning process. The urban park has to be fully designed and established in the planning process not by the decision-maker's subjective evaluation but by user postoccupancy evaluation.

        The Four-Season ski resort which is prepared for 2008 Beijing Olympic project is the biggest indoor ski-dome. The fundamental concept for landscape design is to harmonize the development of Beijing city via the construction of modern building, the culture of China and Olympic spirit. Thus, the concept is evolved from the satisfaction of public, the realization of ecology and the site-of-art technique. The project requires the value of regional spirit when carrying out the planning of landscape. Thus, the starting point of design is evolved from the respect for nature, humanism, culture, sustainable development of city and ecosystem.

        This study is to clarify the characteristics of the type of view on a prospect from the road view, approach to the purpose of the maintenance plan of the road view. First, in the viewpoint of view is understanding meaning of the road, the method come into contact with a road view. Second, in the view appear an object land is grouping to the road view and presentation to a point in dispute and a settlement. This study have the keynote to different a form of view depend on viewpoint in a point view of prospect of road view, it will be presentation of practice method to the maintenance plan of the road view of the future.

      • RC 프레임면내 조적채움벽의 내진성능 평가에 관한 실험적 연구

        The objectives of this study are 1) to find out the shear behavior and shear capacity of RC bare frames, brick-infilled RC frames, 2) to evaluate the equation of the shear capacity of two types of RC frames by comparison the Japanese Standard and modified equation adopting the test results. The main variable is the absence of brick infill wall. The test results show that the shear capacity of specimen IF-4.2 is 2.3 times as high as that of the specimen IF-4.2.The shear behavior of RC bare frame which is governed by predominant flexural yielding is changed to predominant shear yielding by affection of the brick infill wall. A comparison of the results obtained by the Japanese Standard equation and the modified equation to the test data indicates that the proposed equation is compatible with the test results.

        한국 성인의 경추부 추간판 높이와 깊이에 대한 연구

        Objective: Currently, normal data of cervical disc height and depth of Korean adults are not available. The objective of this study is to compile a Korean normative database of the disc height and depth of the cervical spine, valid for healthy Korean adults. Methods: All the volunteers were attached a coin on the anterior midline of the neck. From the lateral X-ray films of the cervical spine, anterior and middle disc height and anteroposterior disc depth from C2-3 to C6-7 were measured. The magnification of radiographic films as compared with real measurement of the coin was taken into consideration. Analysis of data was done by use of independent sample t-test, Pearson's correlation, and one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA). Results; A normal database for the dimensions of cervical discs was compiled from 42 lateral views of healthy Korean adults. There were 20 males(mean age, 29,6 years; mean height, 174.3 cm) and 22 females(mean age, 27,4 years; mean height, 161.2 cm). The means of anterior height, middle height and anteroposterlor depth of cervical disc space were 4.09mm, 5,82mm, and 16,86mm for men and 3,40 mm, 5.30 mm, and 14.86 mm for women, respectively, The height of C4-5 disc space was highest at the middle disc space from C2-3 to C6-7. Conclusion: This study will contribute to the clinical diagnosis, treatment and development of instruments of cervical disc diseases for Korean patients with cervical disc diseases.

        This study investigates the performance of the reinforced concrete frame with the steel plate slit damper. The test was carried out to investigate the structural behavior between the reinforced concrete bare frame and the reinforced concrete frame with the steel plate slit damper. The test results showed that the energy absorption capacity of the damped-frame was several times larger than that of the bare frame. For the damage by the input energy is concentrated on the steel plate slit damper, the ductilities of the former structure were increased and the damaged frame can be reused after exchange the steel plate slit damper.
