        ORP profile을 이용한 연속 회분식 반응기(Sequencing Batch Rector)에서 무산소공정 추론

        The SBR(Sequencing Batch Reactor) process is ideally suited to treat high loading wastewater due to its high dilution rate. SBR operates by a cycle of periods consisting of filling, reacting, settling, decanting and idling. The react phases such as aeration or non-aeration, organic oxidation, nitrification, denitrification and other biological reactions can be achieved in a reactor. Although the whole reactions can be achieved in a SBR with time distributing, it is hard to manage the SBR as a normal condition without recognizing a present state. The present state can be observed with nutrient sensors such as NH₄^(-)-N, NO₂^(-)-N, NO₃^(-)-N and PO₄^(3-)-P. However, there is still a disadvantage to use the nutrient sensors because of their high expense and inconvenience to manage. Therefore, it is very useful to use common on-line sensors such as DO, ORP and pH, which are less expensive and more convient. Moreover, the present states and unexpected changes of SBR might be predicted by using of them. This study was conducted to get basic materials for making an inference of SBR process from ORP(oxidation reduction potential) of synthetic wastewater. The profiles of ORP, DO, and pH were under normal nitrification and denitrification were obtained to compare abnormal condition. And also, nitrite and nitrate accumulation were investigated during reaction of SBR. The bending point on ORP profile was not entirely in the low COD/NOx ratio condition. In this case, NOx was not entirely removed, and minimum ORP value was presented over -300mV. Under suitable COD/NOx ratio which complete denitrification was achieved, ORP bending point was observed and minimum ORP value was under -300mV. Under high COD/NOx ratio, ORP bending point was not detected at the first subcycle because of the fast denitrification and minimum ORP value was under -300mV at the time.

        한국 비만 여성의 신체 계측에 의한 체지방 추정

        연구배경 : 국내 비만 여성을 대상으로 비용이 적게 들고 단순하면서도 보다 정확하게 체지방률을 추정할 수 있는 체지방률 추정식을 작성함으로써 쉽게 체지방률과 조절해야하는 지방의 양을 판단할 수 있도록 하고자 한다. 방법 : 이대목동병원 비만클리닉을 처음으로 내원한 19세 이상의 성인 여자 607명 중 체질량지수가 25 kg/㎡ 이상인 500명을 연구대상으로 하여 목, 가슴, 허리, 엉덩이, 대퇴, 하퇴, 발목, 상완, 전완, 손목의 10부위의 둘레와 생체전기저항분석법 (bioelectrical impedance analysis, BIA) 방식의 체성분 분석기를 이용하여 체지방률을 측정하였다. 체지방률 추정식을 구하기 위해 BIA에 의한 체지방률을 종속변수로 하고 , 신체 둘레 계측기 및 신장, 체중, 체질량지수, 연령을 독립변수로 하여 단계별 다중회귀분석 (multiple stepwise regression)을 시행하였다. 결과 : 신장과 체중, 연령, 체질량지수 및 신체 둘레 측정치 중 체지방률을 반영하는 지표는 체질량 지수, 전완둘레, 신장, 엉덩이 둘레, 하퇴둘레였고, 이 다섯가지 지표를 이용한 체지방률 추정식은 66.1%의 예측력과 2.86%의 측정 오차를 나타냈다 (R^2=0.661, SEE=2.86). 결론 : 비만한 성인 여성에서 신장과 체중, 연령 및 신체 둘레 계측치를 이용한 본 연구의 추정식은 체지방률(%)을 적은 오차범위로 비교적 정확하게 반영하였다. Background : This study was conducted to develop a regression equation that accurately estimates body fat percentage using relatively easy and inexpensive method in adult obese Korean women. Method : Data were collected among 500 obese Korean women visiting obesity clinic in Ewha woman's university Mokdong hospital, Seoul, Korea. Height, weight, and circumferences at ten body sites (neck, chest, waist, hip, thigh, calf, ankle, arm, forearm, wrist) were measured s well as total body bioelectrical impedance. Results : The full regression equation estimates body fat percentage included six variables : BMI, forearm circumference, height, hip circumference, thigh circumference. This equation accounted for 66.1% of the variance in body weight measured by bioelectrical impedance, and their standard error of estimate was 2.86%. Conclusion : For the obese Korean women in this study, circumference measurements provided a s relatively good estimation of body fat percentage.

      • LCC형 고주파 공진 인버터의 특성해석에 관한 연구

        This paper describes characteristics and operating principles of inverter according to the variable capacitance of the DC voltage source separated capacitor use in the conventional HB type high frequency resonant inverter. In the case of variable capacitance of the DC voltage source separated capacitor, the analysis of inverter circuit has generally described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics has been evaluated in term of switching frequency and parameters. According to the calculated characteristics value, a method of the circuit designs and operation characteristics of the inverter is proposed. Also, We performed an experiment to prove the validity of the characteristics analysis of proposed inverter. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. In the future, this proposed inverter shows that it can be practically used as a power source system for the lighting equipment of discharge lamp. DC-DC converter etc.

      • 직류 전원 분할용 커패시터의 용량변화에 따른 복공진형 고주파 인버터의 특성해석에 관한 연구

        A half bridge type double resonant high frequency resonant inverter using PFM is described. This proposed inverter can reduce distribution of the switching current because of using the current of the serial resonant circuit to the input current of the parallel one. In the case of variable capacitance of the DC voltage source capacitor, the analysis of inverter circuit has generally described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics has been evaluated in terms of switching frequency and parameters. Based on the characteristics value, a method of the circuit design is proposed. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. In the future, this proposed circuit is considerated to be useful for induction heating and discharge lamp.

      • Norepinephrine에 의한 신자율 조절 변화의 Prostaglandin의 역활

        We investigated whether indomethacin, a prostaglandin (PG) synthesis inhibitor, modulates the effect of norepinephrine on the autoregulation of the renal blood flow(RBF) in anesthetized dogs. A silastic inflatable occluder was placed around the aorta cephalad to the bifurcation of thee renal artery, and an electromagnetic flow probe was placed around the renal artery for the measurement of RBF. RBF autoregulatory curves were determined during intravenous infusion of NE(0.3 & 0.8 ㎍/㎏/min) before and after the blockade of PG synthesis with indomethacin(1-2 ㎎/㎏). During control, we observed a precise autoregulation of RBF until RAP decreased to 69±3mmHg. The higher dose(0.8 ㎍/㎏/min) of NE shifted the curve to the right increasing the lower limit of RBF autoregulation to 79±5 mmHg while the lower dose had no effect on the curve. Inhibition of PG synthesis with indomethacin decreased RBF 8-10% during basal condition. However, the autoregulatory curves determind after the inhibition of PG synthesis were not significantly different from those determined before the inhibition. These data indicate that PG does not modulate the effect of norepinephrine on the autoregulation of RBF.

        This study was performed to investigate the changes of the environmental counterpane in Korea. The subject groups discussed it to the trends of the environmental counterplan, the classification of the subject groups, and the content analysis of the environmental counterplan. The content analysis method was used to perform the study, and articles were a daily newspaper's topics related to the environmental counterplan. The adapted data were 488 articles related to the environmental counterplan at the Dong-A daily newspaper during 1920-1997. The results were shown: 1.The number of articles on the environmental counterplan has been increased since 1963. 2.The articles were categorized to five aspects: the government, the public, the enterprise, the education institute, and the international organization. 3.With respect to the environmental counterplan by the government, it has discussed the environmental law, the environmental policy, the investment about the technology (to develop the technique to keep the environment clean and to reduce environmental pollution), the environmental education, and the environmental movement. With respect to the environmental counterplan by the public, it has mentioned the environmental movement, the environmental education, the investigation to protect the environment, and the proposal to make and decide the environmental policy. With respect to the environmental counterplan by the enterprise, it has reviewed the investment about the technology, the proposal to make and decide the environmental policy, the environmental education, and the environmental movement. With respect to the environmental counterplan by the education institute, it has discussed the investigation to search the way (to keep the environment clean and protect the environment from the pollution), the proposal to decide the environmental policy, the environmental education and the environmental movement. With respect to the environmental counterplan by the international organization, it had mentioned the environmental education and the environmental movement.

      • 한국인 지원자에서 니모디핀의 생체이용율연구

        A reversed phase HPLC method was developed and validated for the determination of nimodipine in human plasma. Nitrendipine was used as an internal standard. Calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 5~300 ng/ml. The coefficient of variation of the intra- and inter-day precision was below 15%. The coefficient of variation of the accuracy was below 15% in the concentration range investigated. A bioavailability study was performed using the validated HPLC method. Eight healthy male volunteers were orally administered 30 mg of nimodipine. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using WinNonlin. The mean values of AUC_(24hr) was 64.0±31.3 ng·hr/ml, C_(max) was 46.5±31.2 ng/ml, T_(max) was 0.54±0.17 hr and t_(1/2) was 3.03±2.26 hr. The pharmacokinetic parameters and the HPLC method can be used for the design of bioequivalence study of nimodipine.

        The authors investigated thoroughly the flotation characteristics of stibnite. The flotation behavior of this mineral was carried out by using modified hallimond tube with various xanthates as a collector and modifying agents such as copper sulphate, lead acetate, sodium sulfide, zinc sulphate, sodium cyanide, sodium sulfite and potassium dichromate. The main results obtained in this experiments are summarized as follows; (1) Stibnite shows that it has maximum floatability in pH range 4.0 to 8.0. (2) Stibnite is activated by copper sulphate and lead acetate. (3) Potassium dichromate is an effective depressing agents in stibnite-xanthate system in pH range 4.0 to 6.0. (4) In the pH range in which the zinc sulphate is preciptated by hydroxide, stibnite is depressed effectively (5) Stibnite is depressed by sodium sulfide in alkaline solution.
