      • 녹동균 세포외막 단백질 백신 CFC-1-101의 안정성 및 면역원성 검토 : 임상 제 Ⅰ/Ⅱa상 시험

        목적 : 제일제당에서는 녹농균의 세포외막 단밸질을 유효성분으로 하는 백신인 CFC-101을 개발하였으며, 동물시험에서 이 백신의 안전성과 유효성을 입증하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 녹농균 백신의 인체에 대한 안전성과 면역원성을 평가하는 동시에 인체 접종시의 최적 투여 용량을 결정하기 위하여 제 I/Ⅱa상 임상시험을 수행하였다. 방법 : 건강한 성인 남자를 피험자로 선별하여 각 용량군에 백신투여자 6명, 위약투여자 2명을 배정하였다. 백신 투여군은 0.25mg, 0.5mg 또는 1.0mg 용량의 녹농균 백신을 7일 간격으로 3회에 걸쳐 근육주사 하였으며, 위약 투여군에게는 세포외막 단백질을 제외한 동일한 성분을 투여하였다. 백신접종 후 국소적 또는 전신적인 반응의 발생여부를 관찰하고, 혈액시료를 체취하여 백신의 역가와 유효성을 검정하였다. 결과 : 녹농균 백신 CFC-101은 모든 접종자에서 양호한 내약성을 보였다. 또한 0.5mg 과 1.0mg 백신 투여군에서는 100%의 항체양전율을 나타내었다. 생성된 항체는 녹농균 세포외막단백질에 특이성을 보였고, 녹농균 감염에 대해 방어효능이 있었다. 결론 : 이와같은 결과로부터 이 녹농균 백신은 인체에 안전하게 투여할 수 있으며, 높은 항체 생성능으로 감염방어 효능을 보이고 0.5mg과 1.0mg이 최적용량인 것으로 판단되었다. Background : We developed a Pseudomonas aeruginosa outer membrane protein(OMP) vaccine CFC-101, and the prophylactic efficacy of which has been demonstrated in animal models. In order to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of the P. aeruginosa vaccine, we carried out a phase I/Ⅱa clinical trial in healthy male volunteers. Methods : Groups of eight volunteers, including two placebo subjects, were vaccinated intramuscularly with three doses of 0.25, 0.5 or 1.0 mg of the vaccine at one week intervals. Sings of systemic and local reactions observed after vaccination were recorded for each vaccinee for 5 days. Physical examinations were performed on days 0, 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 42, and clinical laboratory tests were done on days 0, 3, and 21. Blood samples for assay of serum antibody levels were obtained up to 42 days after the first vaccination. Results : The vaccine was generally well tolerated by all vaccinees, showing no significant side effects. In the three dosage groups, all vaccinees, except one receiving the 0.25 mg dose, showed significant elevation in serum IgG antibody titers against the vaccine proteins, indicating 100% seroconversion in 0.5 and 1.0 mg groups. The human antibodies induced by the vaccine were specific for P. aeruginosa OMPs, as confirmed by western blot analysis and immunoprecipitation assays. The capacity of the human antisera to enhance opsonophagocytic killing activity by polymorphonuclear leukocytes and to confer protection against P. aeruginosa infections indicates that the antibodies elicited by the vaccine have protective efficacy. Conclusion : We conclude that the P. aeruginosa OMP vaccine is safe and effective for human use and its optimal dose to be 0.5 or 1.0 mg.

      • 라틴말의 주격·대격·탈격의 총괄개념에 관하여

        필자는 (1978, 언어학 제 3 호 한국언어학회)에서 라틴말의 속격과 여격의 총괄개념에 관한 소고를 발표한 일이 있다. 격이라는 것은 전체가 한 체계를 이루고 있기 때문에 전체를 일괄해서 다루는 것이 당연한 일이지마는 그 당시는 지면의 제한도 있었기 때문에 부득이 일부만을 발표했다. Roman Jakobson은 그의 논문에서 노어의 격의 총괄개념을 상관관계와 대립관계라는 관점에서 다루었다. 필자는 Jakolson의 방법을 답습하여 라틴말의 격에 적용해 보았다. 그의 격이론이 노어에 대해서만큼은 라틴말에는 맞아 들어가지는 않았지마는 대단한 일반성을 가진 것이라는 것은 부인할 수 없었다. Jakobson의 표지(Merkmale)에 대해서 이의를 표명하는 학자도 있으나 격관계를 상관과 대립의 관점에서부터 논한다면 그렇게 밖에 할 도리가 없다고 생각한다. Merkmale이라는 것이 상대적인 개념이지 결코 절대적인 개념이 아니기 때문이다.

        This paper describes interaction analysis between the series STATCON and the power transmission system. The series STATCON, which consists of a multi-pulse voltage source inverter, coupling transformers, and control circuit, can compensate the line reactance in capacitive or inductive mode by proper manipulation of inverter firing angle. The series compensation of the line reactance in capacitive mode offers the increase of active-power transmission capability through the line. This effect was verified through EMTP simulations for a typical one-machine infinite-bus transmission system. And it was also verified by experimental works with a scaled hardware model.

      • 분산전원 전력품질 모니터링 시스템을 위한 임베디드 하드웨어 테스트

        When distributed powers are interconnected to the grid, lack of source stability may cause some events that should be measured and stored as soon as they occur. This paper presents a real-time hardware system that has been developed for quick and reliable monitoring of the distributed powers quality. The system is composed of a digital signal processor (MPC741O, Motorola) and a 16 bits A/D board (VMIVME3I22, GE). To guarantee the real time operation, it is based on a real time OS (VxWorks). Hardware tests of the embedded system have been made to check the performances of the proposed system. Test signals of several events are generated by using a LabView (hardware) system. The tests show that the system complies with the desired IEEE standard for power quality monitoring.

        한국말의 구조의미론을 위한 서설

        According to Pottier, Greimas and Coseriu, lexical meaning can be analyzed into sememes. Sememes are the units which correspond to the distinctive features in phonology. The methods by which we analyze the meanings of lexemes are approximately the same as th ones by which we analyze phonemes. We adopt the approach from the functional-structural point of view in semantics. Many scholars think that the methods mentioned above can be applied to the study of lexical meaning. However, we cannot but be confronted with difficult problems which cannot be overlooked. Namely, the number of units to be studied in lexematics is enormous while the number of units in phonology and grammar is much limited. Thus, one cannot but decrease the number of units to be dealt with. On has to exclude the units that cannot be structuralizable from the object of study. Eugenio Coseriu presents a criterion by which the units are excluded from consideration : terminology, metalanguage, repeated discourse are to be excluded. Meaning is generally divided into five kinds of meaning : lexical meaning, categorical meaning, instrumental meaning, syntactic meaning and ontological meaning. Our concern here will be restricted to the lexical meaning of Korean lexemes. The lexical meaning is to be investigated with respect to the lexematic structures as following: (A) Paradigmatic Structure a) Primary structure : lexical field, lexical class b) Secondary structure : modification development composition (B) Syntagmatic structures : Affinity Selection Implication Among these, lexical field, primary structure is based on Trier-Weisgerber lexical field theory. Lexical class is the concept which was reinterpreted from Coseriu's point of view. Syntagmatic structure is based upon the wesenhafte Bedeutung-Beziehungen of Porzig. In this paper I tried to investigate the lexical meaninings of Korean words in accordance with the above lexematic structures. I would like to emphasize that the method which analyzes the lexical meanings of Korean words is to be applied appropriately to such fields as language education, dictionary compilation and translation.

      • 모형폐에서 폐유순도 변화가 기계적 조절환기에 미치는 영향

        Patients with acute respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation often undergo general anesthesia and surgery. The clinical feature of acute lung injury includes hypoxemia, hypercarbia, reduction in lung compliance and increase in work of breathing. In mechanical ventilation for these patients considerable volume from the anesthesia ventilator is not delivered to the lung, especially with lower complicance. In this study the effect of increasing respiratory frequency and tidal volume on the mechanical controlled ventilation of Draeger Remus A ventilator(Ventilog 2) was compared to identify minute volume and plateau inspiratory pressure by measuring at distal near the lung simulator and proximal end near the ventilator of breathing circuit in the 3 different states of lung compliance. Minute volume and plateau inspiratory pressure were simultaneously measured at the proximal end of breathing circuit near the ventilator and it's distal one near lung simulator under three study conditions using a simulated lung : 1) 50 ml/cmH2O of lung compliance and 5 cmH2O/1/sec of airflow resistance 2) 20 ml/cmH2O of lung compliance and 5 cmH2O of airflow resistance 3) 10 ml/cmH2O of lung compliance and 5 cmH₂O of airflow resistance. The results were as follows; 1. During controlled mechanical ventilation using anesthesia ventilator with any respiratory frequency and tidal volume, the change of intrapulmonary and total respiratory minute volume were directly related to the states of pulmonary compliance(p<0.05). 2. During controlled mechanical ventilation using anesthesia ventilator with any respiratory frequency and tidal volume in constant lung compliance, intrapulmonary minute volume was markedly less than total respiratory minute volume(p<0.05). 3. Generally there were differences between intrapulmonay and total respiratory minute volume and preset minute volume, and the difference was inversibly related to respiratory frequency and tidal volume, but proportional to lung compliance. 4. Intrapulmonary plateau inspiratory pressure in 20 and 10 ml/cmH2O of lung compliance was increased to approximately 1.5 to 2.0 and 2.5 to 3.0 times those in 50ml/cmH₂O of lung compliance respectively and about 0.5 to 1.5 times in total respiratory plateau inspiratory pressure. The above results suggest that there are statistically significant differences in minute volume and plateau inspiratory pressure between intrapulmonary and total respiratory system and that delivered minute volume to the lung actually did not reach to the level of preset minute volume especially in the lung with severe lowered lung compliance while it would increase for plateau intrapulmonary pressure to damage to the lung tissue.

      • 연약층을 갖는 철근콘트리트 구조물의 내진성능 평가에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 연약층을 가지는 기존 건축물의 동적인 거동에 대하여 비선형 지진해석을 이용한 내진성능 평가에 관한 연구이다. 실험모델로 1층과 5층에 연약층을 가지는 10층 철근콘트리트 구조물을 사용하였고 선형탄성해석방법인 등가지진력해석 및 응답스펙트럼해석을 수행하여 지진하중, 층전단력, 전도모멘트, 최대변형을 구하였다. 그리고 비선형 지진해석 중 Pushover해석을 이용한 구조물의 보유 능력을 산정하고 능력스펙트럼법(CSM)의 원리를 적용하여 구조물의 비선형 최대변형과 요구내력을 평가하였다. 1층에 연약층이 있을때 선형해석 및 비선형해석에서도 최대의 변위와 최대의 전단력이 발생한다는 것을 알 수가 있었다. In this study, In this study, earthquake-resistant capacity using nonlinear seismic analysis on dynamic behaviors of RC structures with soft stories is presented. ten-stories building with a soft story in 1st floor and fifth floor respectively is used as a test model. earthquake-loads, story shear forces, overturning moments, and maximum displacement are calculated by equivalent seismic load analysis and response spectrum analysis. and capacity of buildings are calculated by push-over analysis. next, nonlinear maximum displacement and demand of building are evaluated by CSM principles. when a soft story is located in 1st floor, maximum displacement and maximum shear force are developed both linear and nonlinear analysis.

      • 강재 슬릿형 댐퍼를 부착한 철근콘크리트조 골조의 거동

        This study investigates the performance of the reinforced concrete frame with the steel plate slit damper. The test was carried out to investigate the structural behavior between the reinforced concrete bare frame and the reinforced concrete frame with the steel plate slit damper. The test results showed that the energy absorption capacity of the damped-frame was several times larger than that of the bare frame. For the damage by the input energy is concentrated on the steel plate slit damper, the ductilities of the former structure were increased and the damaged frame can be reused after exchange the steel plate slit damper.
