      • 韓國産 동자개科 魚類의 分類學的 硏究

        The taxonomy of the species of the family Bagridae from Korea is reviewed and the keys to the following eight species of Korean bagrid fishes are presented: Pelteobagrus fulvidraco (RICHARDSON), P. nitidus (SAUVAGE and THIERSANT), Pseudobagrus ussuriensis (DIBOWSKY), Ps. sp. UCHIDA, Leiocassis longirostris GU¨NTHER, Coreobagrus brevicorpus MORI, Liobagrus andersoni REGAN, and L. mediadiposalis MORI. Among them P. nitidus, previously known only from Chinese waters, is firstly recorded from 26 specimens collected mainly off the lower course along the Geum River in the present study. Comparison with P. vachelli of which many paper have recorded from Korea, shows that P. nitidus differs from it in number of gill raker(9-11) and in the short length of its maxillary barbels. The 36 bagrid specimens, which were collected in the Han and Geum River in this study was identified as Pseudobagrus ussuriensis of which the species identification was not confirmed formerly in Korea. The critical examinations of the specimens and the previous discriptions refered to Ps. ussuriensis and Ps. emerginatus SOWERBY (Not REGAN) revealed that Ps. emerginatus mostly used in Korea is a synonym of Ps. ussuriensis. Ps. sp. UCHIDA is clearly distinguishable from other twelve relative species of the genus Pseudobagrus on the bases such as the length of maxillary barbel, serrate structure on the anterior part of pectoral spine, and several morphometric characters. Therefore Pseudobagrus sp. is regarded as a valid species. The six atypical specimens of the genus Liobagrus collected in the Geum River are considered to be natural hybrid between L. andersoni and L. mediadiposalis on the basis of the length of jaw and of the number of feeble teeth on the posterior part its pectoral spine. Interspecific relationships were investigated in the species of Korean bagrid fishes on the basis of the features of the morphological characters and the pattern of aqueous soluble muscle protein.

        石菖蒲가 白鼠의 腦軟膜動脈의 直徑에 미치는 機轉硏究

        Acori Graminei Rhizoma(AGR) has been used in Korea for many centuries as a therapeutic agent for cerebral disease. The effect of AGR on the vascular system is not known. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of AGR on the pial arterial diameter of male Sprague-Dawely rats. The changes in pial arterial diameter were determinated by video microscopy methods and video analyzer. The results were as follows ; 1. Pial arterial diameter was increased by AGR in a dose-dependent manner. 2. Pretreatment with 1H[1,2,4]oxadizolo[4,3-a]quinoxalin-1-one(ODQ, 3μM, i.v.) significantly inhibited AGR induced increased pial arterial diameter. 3. Pretreatment with N^G-nitro-L-argirinine(-NNA, 1㎎/㎏, iv) significantly inhibited AGR induced increased pial arterial diameter. These results suggest that AGR causes a diverse response of pial arterial diameter. The increased in pial arterial diameter is also mediated by nitric oxide synthase and cyclic GMP(guanylyl cyclase).

      • Reciprocal Lattice Explorer의 原理와 使用法

        Reciprocal lattice explorer는 de Jong-Bouman camera와 Buerger precession camera를 合친것이다. 이 explorer를 使用하면 goniometer에 한번 固定한 試料를 使用하여 그 試料의 空間群을 決定하는데 必要한 모든 寫眞을 撮影할 수 있으며 그들은 찌그러지지 않은 逆格子面의 寫眞들이다. 本 論文에서는 de Jong-Bouman 과 Buerger precession 寫眞術의 原理와 使用法을 記述 하였고 또한 de Jong-Bouman의 振動寫眞과 zeroth layer 寫眞으로부터 11個 Laue群의 識別方法도 提示하였다. The reciprocal lattice explorer is an instrument which incorporates the principles of both the Buerger precession and the de Jong-Bouman methods. On the explorer all photographs which are necessary for a space group determination can be taken with a single setting of a crystal and the photographs show undistorted pictures of the reciprocal lattice planes. In this paper, the principles and the usages of the de Jong-Bouman and the Buerger precession photography are described, and a method of 11 Laue group identification using the de Jong-Bouman oscillation and zeroth layer photographs is shown.

        三斜晶系에는 2個의 空間群이 있고 單斜晶系에는 13個의 空間群이 있다. 本 論解에서는 이 空間群들을 誘導한후 各 空間群에 屬한 一般位置, 原點移動, 特殊座標 및 反射條件들을 說明 하였다. There are two and thirteen space groups in triclinic and monoclinic systems respectively. After derivation of the space groups, the general coordinates, the special coordinates and the reflection conditions of each space group have been discussed and change of origin of certain space groups is also shown.

        This paper presents a new method which applies a genetic algorithm(GA) for determining which sectionalizing switch to operate in order to solve the distribution system loss minimization re-configuration problem. The distribution system loss minimization re-configuration problem is in essence a 0-1 planning problem which means that for typical system scales the number of combinations requiring searches becomes extremely large. In order to deal with this problem, a new approach which applies a GA was presented. Briefly, GA are a type of random number search method, however, they incorporate a multi-point search feature. Further, every point is not is not separately and respectively renewed, therefore, if parallel processing is applied, we can expect a fast solution algorithm to result.

If the atom is placed at a special position, the anisotropic thermal factor must have the same symmetry as the special position has. The symmetries at the special positions reduce the 6 anisotropic thermal parameters to 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 and there are 18 different kinds of anisotropic thermal factors altogether for special positions in 230 space groups.

        32개 點群은 中心對稱(centrosymmetric)을 갖는 11가지 點群(Laue群)과 21個의 非對稱中心(noncentrosymmetric)點群으로 이루어졌다. 本 硏究에서는 21個 非對稱中心點群 各各의 等價回折面(等價逆格子點)들을 誘導하였다. The thirty two point groups consist of eleven Laue groups (centrosymmetric point groups) and twenty one noncentrosymmteric point groups. In this paper, the reciprocal lattice points equivalent under the operations of 21 noncentrosymmetric point groups are derived.

        We investigated resistive superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) fabricated using YBCO thin films on 2-inch diameter sapphire substrates. Nearly identical SFCL units were prepared and tested. The units were connected in series and parallel to increase the current and voltage ratings. A serial connection of the units showed significantly unbalanced power dissipation between the units. This imbalance was removed by introducing a shunt resistor to the firstly quenched unit. Parallel connection of the units increased the current rating. An SFCL module of 4 units in parallel, each of which has minimum quench current 25 A_(peak), was produced and successfully tested at a 220 V_(rms) circuit. From the resistance increase, we estimated that the film temperature increases to 200 K in 5 msec, and 300 K in 120 msec. Successive quenches revealed that this system is stable without degradation in the current limiting capability under such thermal shocks as quenches at 220 V_(rms).

        If electron density ρ(xyz) in a single crystal is known, structure factor F(hkl) can be calculated and, on the contrary, electron density map can be drawn if the structure factor including its phase is known. Therefore the functions ρ(xyz) and F(hkl) are said to be Fourier transforms of each other.
