        Serial values for hematologic and biochemical analysis after myocardial infarction in rats

        To diagnose acute myocardial infarction(MI), many cardiac markers have been used in hematologic and biochemical analysis, and many studies have been published for hema-tologic and biochemical analysis associated with human acute MI. However, after occurrence of acute MI, the serial investigation for values in hematologic and bioche-mical analysis including chronic MI has rarely been performed. To observe the change of the serial values in hematologic and biochemical analysis, we induced artificial MI. The left main descending artery(LMDA) of the left coronary artery was ligated during the progression(day 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 and 30) of MI. Total 66 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into the sham group(n=24, thoracotomy without LMDA ligation) and the experimental(MI) group(n=42, with LMDA ligation). And all individual in each group was sacrified at day 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 and 30 for the hematologic and biochemical analysis. In comparison of hematologic analysis between the sham and MI groups, the mean values of red blood cell(RBCs), hemoglobin and hematocrit(HCT) showed a steady increase. In biochemical analysis, the mean values of glucose, choles-terol, total creatine kinase(CK) and isoenzyme MB, and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) were increased in all MI groups compared with the sham groups. The results of this study suggest that early hematologic and biochemical mean values occurred after acute MI are similar to those of human acute MI. In conclusion, we could observe the alterations and serial values in hematologic and biochemical analysis to the extent of chronic status after acute MI.

      • 유리단 국소의치 장착 후 M.K.G.에 의한 하악운동 형태 및 속도의 변화

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of distal extension partial denture on the mandibular movement patterns and velocity. The subjects are 10 patients who have unilateral or bilateral distal extension edentulous area in maxillary and/or mandibular arches. Their mandibular movement patterns and velocity had been measured by Mandibular Kinesiograph(M.K.G.-K6 diagnostic system, Myo-tronics Inc. Seattle. WA. U.S.A.) once just before the treatment and 8 times every week since the dentures were placed. The data have been analyzed statistically by means of ANOVA and Tukey test. The results have been obtained as follows : 1. The placement of the dentures has reduced the amount of vertical and antero-posterior displacement in the habitual mandibular movement significantly(p<0.01). 2. The maximum opening and closing velocity and the mean opening and closing velocity showed no significant change with the placement of the partial dentures(p>0.01). 3. The velocity trace of maximum opening-closing movement has been more regularized and well-coordinated, and the number of clicks decreased continuously after placement of the dentures and showed stable patterns since the 5th week(p<0.01). 4. The left deviation has been decreased significantly after the placement of the dentures and showed no significant change since the 4th week. The right deviation has also been reduced, but there was shown no difference after the 1st week(p<0.01). 5. The crossover pattern has been most frequently observed in the frontal plane and the sagittal plane. It has not been changed with the denture placement and stabilized uniformly.

        국어과 ‘그려쓰기’ 교수·학습 방법 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 후기문자시대의 변모된 쓰기 문화 양식에 터하여 지금-여기-우리 아이들의 쓰기 문화를 적극적으로 수용함으로써, 당대의 문화적 맥락을 쓰기 수업에 구체적으로 연계시키는 활동을 제안함에 있다. 전자언어시대에는 글과 그림이 의사소통의 대표적 표현 수단이 되며, 이들은 따로 떨어져 존재하지 않는다. 또한 어린이들은 그들의 표현 활동에서 그리는 것과 쓰는 기능을 같은 표현기능으로 인식하고 있다. 이에 연구자는 그림과 시각기호들을 쓰기의 범주 안에 적극적으로 들여와 활용하는 글쓰기 방법의 하나로 ‘그려쓰기’라는 새로운 쓰기 교수‧학습 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 현행 교과서의 학습 과제들을 세심히 살펴본 결과를 토대로 교과서에서 어린이들에게 제공되고 있는 매체의 종류를 그림, 사진, 몸짓, 만화, 글그림(이모티콘), 광고로 나누고 각각의 그려쓰기 유형을 제시하여 실제 교실에 적용해 보았다. 본고에서의 ‘그려쓰기’는 좁은 의미와 넓은 의미로 나뉜다. 먼저 좁은 의미의 ‘그려쓰기’는 시각적 매체를 활용하여 글을 쓰는 것을 의미한다. 다음으로 넓은 의미의 ‘그려쓰기’는 ‘전자 문화’라 일컬어지는 ‘후기문자시대’에 표출된 징후, 가령 문자와 이미지가 서로를 향해 열려 있는 다양한 도상기호, 이모티콘, 아바타, 블로그 등을 활용한 글쓰기라 정의하였다. 연구에서는 위의 두 개념을 아우르는 개념으로 사용하였으며, 글과 그림의 얽매임에서 벗어나 각각의 장르가 해체되어 서로를 향해 열려있는 오늘날의 ‘장르 가로지르기’ 현상을 반영한 글쓰기라 할 수 있다. This study set out to suggest an activity of associating that kind of cultural context with writing class by aggressively accepting the writing culture of today's children accustomed to the altered writing culture in the post-literal age. In the age of electronic language, writing and drawing are the major means of communication being in need for each other. Thus the investigator devised ‘Geuryeo-sseugi’ for bringing pictures and visual signs into the range of writing and making active use of them. The study placed a focus on the new teaching and learning method for writing. ‘Geuryeo-sseugi’ as in a narrow context means writing using a visual medium. ‘Geuryeo-sseugi’ in a broad context is defined as writing using diverse icons, emoticons, avatars, and blogs where the letters and images are open to each other, which could be major signs of ‘post-literal age’ or ‘electronic culture’. Adopting the concept from both the contexts, the study broke away from the old dualistic thinking and association and pursued writing that would reflect the phenomenon of ‘cross genre’ in which many different genres were disassembled and open to one another.

        당뇨 유발쥐에서 인동초의 섭취가 혈청지질과 혈당 및 항산화효소계에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of dietary Indongcho(L. japonica Thunb) powder on blood glucose, serum lipid levels and antioxidative anzymes in normal and streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Four groups of rats(2-week-old inbred Sprague-Dawley male rats) were normal rats fed control diet(NC), diabetic rats fed control diet(DC), normal rats fed Indongcho powder diet(NI), and diabetic rats fed Indongcho powder diet(DI). Diabetes was induced by single injection of streptozotocin(60mg/kg BOW., i.p.). The animals were fed ad libium each of the experimental diet for 5 weeks. Food and water intakes were determined everyday. Blood glucose and serum total cholesterol levels were determined every week. After 5 weeks the animals were sacrificed and activities of antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation products were determined in their liver and kidney homogenates. We also determined serum concentrations of total lipid(TL), total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG) and HDL-cholesterol(HEL-C).Blood sugar and water intake were higher in decreased by dietary Indongcho intake, Body weight gain and FER(feed efficiency ration) were reduced by STZ treatment. But, Final body weight was recovered by Indongcho-contained diet. LHR(LDL-cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol) of the DI group was significantly lower than the other experimental groups(NC, NI and DE groups). The hepatic glucose 6-phosphatase(G6Pase) activity of the groups fed Indongcho diet(NI and DI group) was lower than the groups fed control diet(NC and DC group) and the G6Pase activity of NI group was recovered to the normal levels(p<0.05). However, The glutathione peroxidase(GPx) and glutathione reductase(GR) activities in liver and G6Pase activity in kidney were not statistically different between the control and diabetic control groups. Renal GST activity of the DI group was recovered by Indongcho intake. In conclusion, these results confirm oxidative stress in the liver and kidney of rats with STZ diabetes and antioxidative effect of Indongcho.

      • 현대건축에 나타난 생태적 디자인의 경향과 방법론에 관한 연구

        환경패러다임이 주요이슈로 부각되어지고 있는 현실에서, 현대건축과 실내디자인에 있어 생태적 디자인이 요구되고 있다. 21세기 급변하는 사회 속에서 환경 친화적 가치추구는 더 이상 전문가의 영역이 아닌 일반적 인식의 저변확대와 인간환경과 관련된 전 분야의 적용으로 나아가고 있다. 이러한 환경 패러다임으로부터 오는 변화를 받아들여 디자이너가 생태적 실내환경의 가치향상을 의식적으로 추구함으로서, 삶의 품질과 가치 향상에 대한 욕구를 충족시켜주고 차별화 된 메시지를 가진 생태디자인의 필요성도 증가 될 것이다. 따라서 디자이너가 생태적 지식들을 건축에 적용시키기에 앞서 생태디자인의 최근 이슈들과 현대건축가들의 경향과 방법론을 이해하는 것이 필요하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구는 생태적 공간을 디자인하기 위한 방법론의 경향과 이슈들을 연구하고자 한다. 본 연구의 의의는 환경 친화적 경향의 영향을 받은 생태건축을 실내외 디자인에서 실천하기 위한 방법론의 변화과정을 살펴보고, 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 21세기의 디자이너가 의사결정 단계에서 이를 실천 할 수 있는 방법을 모색하여 디자인 과정에서의 대안으로 도출이 이루어 질 수 있도록 하는데 있다. As the environmental paradigm is the major issue today, the guideline of the ecological design in the contemporary architecture and design is needed. Pursuing of the environmentally friendly value in this 21st century’s ever-changing society is no longer limited to the professional field. It is rather belong to the overall realm of human environments and their related areas. Therefor the changes, which is coming from the environmental paradigm, should be accepted by the designers. The designers should intentionally pursue the increased value of the ecological interior environments in order to satisfy the needs for the better quality and value of life. Thereby the needs for the eco-design with its distinctive messages would be increased. In this matter, prior to apply the ecological knowledge into the architecture as a designer, the understanding of the current issues of eco-design and the trendy methods of contemporary architects is required. In this paper, the issues & trendy methods to design the ecological space are studied. The significance of this study would be achieved from the understanding of these changing methodology of ecological architecture and their application by the 21st century designers in their design process of interior and exterior spaces.

      • 간접부착술식시 치면과 레진 베이스의 간격 및 접착제에 따른 결합강도

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of the combined use of paste resin with sealant as an adhesive of the indirect bonding. The resin bases made of lighcured resin were bonded to the bovine incisors at a distance of 0.0, 0.2 or 0.4mm using the sealant only or the mixture of sealant and paste resin. Bond strength of each group was measured using universal testing machine. The results were as follows: 1. The bond strength was reduced in both groups as the distance between enamel surface and resin base increased. 2. The bond strength showed no statistical difference between two groups in case the distance between enamel surface and resin base was 0.0mm. 3. In case the distance between enamel surface and resin base was 0.2 or 0.4mm, the sealant with paste resin group showed significantly higher bond strength than the sealant only group. The results of the present study indicate that the use of paste resin with sealant may be desirable as an adhesive in indirect bonding, particularly in case a gap is suspected between enamel surface and resin base.

        민족적 전통과 동양적 전통 : 1930년대 후반 경성과 동경에서의 <춘향전> 공연을 중심으로 Focusing on <Chunhyangjeon> Performed in Korea and Japan During the Late 1930's

        The play <Chunhyangjeon(춘향전)> was based on the Korean classic novel with Chosun(조선) dynasty setting. Singers who were disciplined in Korean traditional music usually had practiced <Chunhyangjeon> for a long time. During the late 1930's, there were new phenomena that <Chunhyangjeon> were performed in Korean modern troupes and Japanese modern troupe. This study is to show how the phenomena were going on and why those appeared, focusing on the relationship between nationalism and 'theory of orient'. The Korean modern troupe 'Drama Academy(극예술연구회)' performed <Chunhyangjeon> written and directed by Yoo Chijin(유치진) at Kyrmgsung in Korea in 1936. Yoo Chijin tried to take in Korean traditional performance called 'Pansori(판소리)' through the play, like Japanese modern troupes succeeding in Japanese tradition performance called 'Kabuki'. Even though he was interested in Korean tradition in respect of nationalism, his play was also connected with 'theory of orient' proposed by Japanese. 'Tokyo Student Art Group(동경학교예술좌)' was organized by Korean students studying in Tokyo in 1934. The group played <Chunhyangjeon>(playwrighter Yoo Chijin, directer Joo Youngseb; 주영섭) in Tokyo in 1937, using western style music and Japanese Kabuki style action. The Japanese modern troupe 'Sinhyup(新協)' played <Chunhyangjeon> in Tokyo in early 1938, and played also at several places in Korea in the late 1938. A Korean Jang Hyukju(장혁주) who had written novels with the Japanese language wrote the play in Japanese. The director Murayanra Tomoyosi(村山知義) cast a woman for hero role, and made actors and actresses practice Kabuki. He announced <Chunhyangjeon> as 'oriental classic work'. Actors and actresses of the play were all Japaneses. The <Chunhyangjeon> performed by the company 'Sinhyup' was the case substituting Japanese style play for Korean performance. In the last period of Japanese imperialism, Japan educated Naesonilchae(內鮮一體) to Choson's people in order to dominate its colony exploitation. It was related to Daedonga-Gongyeongnon(大東亞共榮論) and 'theory of orient(동양주의)'. The theory of orient was based on the criticism on the Western modernity, the presentation of Japan as a center of East and the unification of the Korean people into Japanese. <Chunhyangjeon> plays performed in Korea and Japan in the last period of Japanese imperialism reflected 'theory of orient' consciously and unconsciously.

      • 컴프리 葉의 조직배양에서의 植物體 再分化에 미치는 식물호르몬의 영향

        This study was conducted in order to regenerate plants from leaf explants and callus induced from the leaves of comfry (Symphytum peregrium). Calli were induced from leaf blade on MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D and 1.0~2.0 mg/l kinetin. The shoot formation from leaf explants was initiated on MS medium supplemented with IAA in combination with kinetin. The root was also induced on MS medium supplemented 0.5-1.0 mg/l IAA and 0.1-2.0mg/l kinetin. The organogenesis from callus was formed to roots on B5 medium supplemented with kinetin, BAP, 2iP, irrespective to their kind and quantity Plantlets were regenerated from callus in B5 medium containing kinetin in combination with IAA or Containing BAP in combination with IAA. The optimum concentration of growth regulator for plant regeneration was estimated to be 2.0 mg/l BAP.
