In this paper, Frequency spectra of AE(acoustic emission) signals generated from the magnetizing and the load currents in the actual operating cast-resin power transformer of 500[kVA] under distribution system of 22.9[㎸] were also analysed to distinguish the AE signals due to void discharges from the magnetic circuit noises in the core of cast-resin power transformer. As the experimental results, we could distinguish the AE signals whether those signals were caused due to the void discharges or due to the magnetic circuit noises by analyzing the frequency spectrum of AE signals. Frequency spectra of AE signals generated from the cast-resin power transformer in operation due to both the magnetizing and the load currents appeared in the range of 40-120[㎑].

In this paper an integrated model of PV-AF (Photovoltaic-Active Filter) and PV-SPE(Photovoltaic Solid Polymer Electrolyte) system using PSCAD/EMTDC were explained in detaiil. The main concept of PV-AF system starts from the 'harmonics'. In order to deliver power to utility, PV system essentially needs a converter system. Here PV-AF system adds the function of active filter to the converter system installed in PV system, which was introduced already in several papers. PV-SPE system has been studied as a replacement of existing hydrogen production technology that emits large amount of carbon dioxide into atmosphere. Until now, these two systems, PV-AF and PV-SPE, have been considered separately However, in this paper, characteristics and advantages of combined system are discussed in detail.

In this paper, VHF(30~230[MHz]) electromagnetic waves radiated from partial discharge(PD) at two-type electrodes in air are measured and the peculiar patterns of their spectra are reported. Also, the polarization and distance characteristics of electromagnetic wave radiated by PD, were investigated. In case the epoxy insulator in inserted, the noise level of radiated electromagnetic waves is 0.6~6.2[dB] higher than the case in air at below 90[MHz]. The frequency spectrum distribution of radiated electromagnetic waves appears different in the whole frequency range according to the arrangement of antenna.

Photoluminescence(PL)와 photoreflectance(PR}를 이용하여 Al_(0.25)Ga_(0.75)As/In_(0.15)Ga_(0.85)As/GaAs 슈우도형 고 전자 이동도 트랜지스터 구조에 대한 특성을 조사 하였다. 온도 10 K의 PL 측정에서 InGaAs 양자우물에 의한 e2-h1 및 e2-h1 전이 피크가 각각 1.322 및 1.397 eV에서 관측되었다. 온도 의존성으로부터 첫번째 가전자 띠와 두번째 가전자 띠의 에너지 차이는 약 23 meV로 나타났다. 또한 300 K에서의 PR 측정으로 e2-h2 및 e2-h1 전이에 의한 피크를 관측하였고, 두번째 전도 띠의 에너지 준위에 의한 피크가 띠 채움으로 인해 첫번째 전도 띠의 에너지 준위에 의한 피크보다 상대적으로 우세하였다. 반면에 PL 측정에서는 전자 가리개 효과 때문에 첫번째 전도 띠에 의한 피크가 우세하였다. We have analyzed characteristics for the structure of Al_(0.25)Ga_(0.75)As / In_(0.15)Ga_(0.85)As/GaAs pseudo-morphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) by photoluminescence (PL) and photoreflectance (PR) measurements. By the PL measurement at 10 K, we observed e1-h1 transition peak at 1.322 eV and e2-h1 transition peak at 1.397 eV in the InGaAs quantum well. We calculated value of 23 meV, the difference between the first energy level and the second energy level of a valence band by dependence of temperatures. Also, (e2-h2) transition signal was observed at 300 K by PR measurement. From the PR measurement, we recognized that the transition was dominated the second energy level of conduction band than the first energy level of conduction band due to band filling. The other hand, PL signal of the first energy level of conduction band was dominated because of the electron screening effect.

In this paper, the ac breakdown characteristics of pure Ar, Kr and $N_2$ gas with gas pressure range of 58.8-137.3[kPa] under uniform and non-uniform fields were investigated, and the measured values were compared with those In Ar/$N_2$ and Kr/$N_2$ gas mixtures with pressure varying. Summarizing the experimental results, the breakdown voltages of Pure $N_2$gas, under uniform and non-uniform fields, were increased about 4.8 and 1.1 times than those of pure Ar gas, and about 4.4 and 1.2 times than those of pure Kr gas, and the ac breakdown voltage increased with the pressure increasing. The breakdown voltages of Ar/$N_2$ gas mixtures were decreased with decreasing the mixture ratio of Pure $N_2$ gas. In case of Ar(85%)/$N_2$ (15%) and Ar(70%)/$N_2$ (30%) gas mixtures comparing to the pure Ar gas, the breakdown voltages under uniform field were increased about 1.8 and 2.2 times, and under non-uniform field were increased about 1.1 and 1.3 times at the pressure of 101.3[kPa]. Also, in case of Kr(85%)/$N_2$ (15%) and Kr(70%)/$N_2$ (30%) gas mixtures comparing to the pure Kr gas, the breakdown voltages under uniform field were increased about 1.7 and 2.0 times, and under non-uniform field were increased about 1.0 and 1.2 times. Corona inception voltage of Kr(70%)/$N_2$(30%) gas mixtures under non-uniform fields were increased about 1.28 times than those of Ar(70%)/$N_2$ (30%) gas mixtures. In case of practical incandescent lamps, luminous and lifetime of Kr(70%)/$N_2$ (30%) gas mixtures were increased about 1.15 and 1.21 times than those of Ar(70%)/$N_2$ (30%) gas mixtures.
동해남부 대마난류계에서의 염소화 Biphenyls 의 분포특성

In order to investigate the distribution characteristics of polychlorinated Biphenyls(PCBs) at the southern of Korean East Sea, vertical measurements of temperature, salinity, DO and PCBs were performed by each depth of 5 stations during August-October 1996. Thermocline and salinocline were generally existed at depth of 30m and wafer mass current of midwater in the southern of Korean East Sea was distributed below 30m depth. The distribution of surface water mass in this area was extended to Tsusima area from the southern offshore of the Korean East Sea. In August 1996, concentration range of PCBs had 0.22-0.36ng/ℓ at surface layer and their concentrations at near Tsusima offshore were relatively decreased. Total mean concentration of PCBs was 0.29ng/ℓ in the sea surface and 0.31ng/ℓ in the middle layer. PCBs seemed to correlate well with suspended particles. And vertical and horizontal distribution of their concentrations showed comparatively uniform pattern. Relatively high compositional ratio of Di- and Tri-PCBs could be found at the sea surface, while compositional ratio of Penta-PCBs dominates over other congener at deep layer.
돼지 고기의 아나볼릭 스테로이드가 Myogenic Satellite Cell의 증식과 분화에 미치는 영향

성호르몬은 근육의 발달(아나볼릭 효과)에 관여하는 것으로 잘 알려져 왔으며 인체의 치료제로 넓게 사용되고 있다. 돼지고기에는 주로 성선(정소와 난소)에서 생산되어 고기에 축적된 다양한 아나볼릭 효과를 나타내는 성호르몬이 많이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 돼지고기에 존재하는 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출하여 근육세포의 증식과 분화에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 돼지의 각 조직으로부터 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출하는 3가지 방법(M1, M2, M3)을 개발하였다. 3가지 모든 추출방법에서 아나볼릭 스테로이드가 추출되었으며 특히 M3에서 조직 1g당 가장 많은 양을 획득할 수 있었다. M3를 이용하여 아나볼릭 스테로이드를 추출했을 때 돼지고기의 근육과 지방에서는 스테로이드 호르몬 양이 수컷에서 가장 높았고, 혈청에서는 nandrolone 과 testosterone의 양은 수컷에서 가장 높았으며, estrone와 $17{\beta}$-estradiol의 양은 비슷하였다. 근육세포 증식은 돼지 아나볼릭 스테로이드의 농도 의존적으로 촉진되었으며, M3에서 가장 빠르게 증식되었다. 근육세포의 분화는 추출된 아나볼릭 스테로이드 처리구가 대조구보다 더 효과적으로 분화가 잘 되는 것을 세포 모양과 유전자(AR, myoD, desmin, myogenin)를 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 M3에서 추출된 아나볼릭 스테로이드에서 myogenin과 AR 유전자가 유의적으로 높게 발현되었다(p<0.001). 전체적으로 돼지의 아나볼릭 스테로이드는 근육세포의 성장과 분화를 촉진하였다. 따라서 돼지고기에 있는 아나볼릭 스테로이드의 섭취를 통해 인체 근육의 성장과 발달에 긍정적 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Sex steroids are known to be involved in skeletal muscle development (anabolic effect) and are frequently used in medicines. It has been known that pork contains a variety of steroids that are mainly synthesized in the gonads (testis and ovary). Thus, the present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of anabolic steroids of pork on the proliferation and differentiation of myogenic satellite cells (MSC). Three different methods (M1, M2, and M3) were developed for the isolation and purification of steroids from porcine tissues. Among three extraction methods that we developed, M3 was the best method with respect to the quantities of steroids and the induction of MSC proliferation. Hormonal analysis showed that the steroid hormone levels were the highest in muscle and fat of intact male than those of castrated males and females. In addition, the highest serum levels of nandrolone and testosterone were detected in intact males, whereas estrone and $17{\beta}$-estradiol levels were similar in the entire experimental serum samples. Expression of androgen receptor (AR), myoD, desmin, and myogenin in bovine muscle cells were significantly up-regulated by the treatment of steroid extracts. The highest increas of myogenin and AR mRNA abundance were observed in the MSCs treated with M3 extract (p<0.001). Altogether, the present research showed the positive effect of steroids on MSC proliferation and differentiation in vitro. These results would certainly imply a beneficial effect of pork consumption on human muscle development.

주행속도 및 엔진부하 조건이 실제도로 주행배출가스 특성에 미치는 영향

Current laboratory-based emission test does not sufficiently represent the real-driving conditions. NOx emissions from gasoline vehicles have decreased significantly, but NOx emissions from diesel vehicles did not reduced. Especially NOx concentrations have not reduced less than expected in Seoul`s urban areas after 2008. In the present study, on-road NOx emissions were measured with PEMS under real driving conditions, including urban, rural, and motorway that routes and RDE characteristics according to the vehicle speed and engine load conditions were evaluated using a MAW method.
