        Iridoid Compounds from Boschniakia rossica

        Four iridoid compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Boschniakia rossica by repeated column chromatography. Their structures were determined as boschnaloside (1), boschnarol (2), bosnarol methylether (3), and 7-deoxy 8-epiloganic acid (4), respectively. Compound 2, 3, and 4 were isolated for the first time form this plant.

        Triterpenoid saponins from Clinopodium chinense (Benth.) O. Kuntze and their biological activity

        Four new ursane-type triterpenoid saponins, clinopoursaponins A–D (1–4), six new oleanane-type triterpenoid saponins, clinopodiside VII–XII (5–10), as well as eight known triterpene analogues (11–18), were isolated from the aerial parts of Clinopodium chinense (Benth.) O. Kuntze. The structures of the new compounds were determined based on extensive spectral analyses, including 1D (1H and 13C) and 2D NMR experiments (COSY, NOESY, HSQC, 2D TOCSY, HSQC-TOCSY and HMBC), HR-ESI-MS and chemical methods. Compounds 1–18 were evaluated for their protective effects against anoxia/reoxygenation-induced apoptosis in H9c2 cells and cytotoxicities against murine mammary carcinoma cell line 4T1. Compounds 8, 9 and 18 exhibited significant protective effects, while compound 1 exhibited cytotoxic activity with IC50 value of 7.4 μm compared to 7.6 μm for the positive control 10-hydroxycamptothecin.

        N6-Methyladenosine modification (m6 A) of circRNA-ZNF638 contributes to the induced activation of SHF stem cells through miR-361-5p/Wnt5a axis in cashmere goats

        Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of N6-Methyladenosine modification-circRNA-zinc finger protein 638 (m6A-circRNA-ZNF638) on the induced activation of secondary hair follicle (SHF) stem cells with its potential mechanisms in cashmere goats. Methods: The m6A modification of ZNF638 was analyzed using methylation immunoprecipitation with real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction technique in SHF stem cells. The effects of circRNA-ZNF638 on the induced activation of SHF stem cells in m6A dependence were evaluated through the overexpression of circRNA-ZNF638/its m6Adeficient mutants in circRNA-ZNF638 knockdown SHF stem cells. The competitive binding of miR-361-5p to circRNA-ZNF638/Wnt5a 3′- untranslated region was analyzed through Dual-luciferase reporter assay. Results: The m6A-circRNA-ZNF638 had significantly higher transcription at anagen SHF bulge of cashmere goats compared with that at telogen, as well as it positively regulated the induced activation of SHF-stem cells in cashmere goats. Mechanismly, m6A-circRNA-ZNF638 sponged miR-361-5p to heighten the transcriptional expression of Wnt5a gene in SHFstem cells. We further demonstrated that the internal m6A modification within circRNAZNF638 is required for mediating the miR-361-5p/Wnt5a pathway to regulate the induced activation of SHF stem cells through an introducing of m6A-deficient mutant of circRNAZNF638. Conclusion: The circRNA-ZNF638 contributes the proper induced activation of SHF-stem cells in cashmere goats in m6A-dependent manner through miR-361-5p/Wnt5a axis.

        Copolymerization of Ethylene and Norbornene via Polymethylene Bridged Dinuclear Constrained Geometry Catalysts

        The dinuclear half-sandwich CGCs (constrained geometry catalyst) with a polymethylene bridge, $[Ti({\eta}^5 : {\eta}^1-indenyl)SiMe_2NCMe_3]_2(CH_2)_n]$[n = 6 (1) and 12 (2)], have been employed in the copolymerization of ethylene and norbornene (NBE). To compare the mononuclear metallocene catalysts; $Ti({\eta}^5 : {\eta}^1-2-hexylindenyl)SiMe_2NCMe_3$ (3), $(Cp^* SiMe_2NCMe_3)$Ti (Dow CGC) (4) and ansa-$Et(Ind)_2ZrCI_2$ (5), were also studied for the copolymerization of ethylene and NBE. It was found that the activity increased in the order: 1 < 2 < 3 < 5 < 4, indicating that the presence of the bridge between two the CGC units contributed to depressing the polymerization activity of the CGCs. This result strongly suggests that the implication of steric disturbance due to the presence of the bridge may playa significant role in slowing the activity. Dinuclear CGCs have been found to be very efficient for the incorporation of NBE onto the polyethylene backbone. The NBE contents in the copolymers formed ranged from 10 to 42%, depending on the polymerization conditions. Strong chemical shifts were observed at ${\delta}$42.0 and 47.8 of the isotactic alternating NBE sequences, NENEN, in the copolymers with high NBE contents. In addition, a resonance at 47.1 ppm for the sequences of the isolated NBE, EENEE, was observed in the $^{13}C-NMR$ spectra of the copolymers with low NBE contents. The absence of signals for isotactic dyad at 48.1 and 49.1 ppm illustrated there were no isotactic or microblock (NBE-NBE) sequences in the copolymers. This result indicated that the dinuclear CGCs were effective for making randomly distributed ethylene-NBE copolymers.

        한국과 중국 대학생의 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력의 관계 비교

        본 연구는 한국과 중국 대학생의 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력이 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력이 어떤 관계인가를 탐색하며, 이러한 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력의 관계가 국적에 따라 달라지는지를 알아보기 위하여 진행되었다. 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 한국 대학생과 중국 대학생 두 집단을 연구대상으로 선택하였다. 한국 대학생은 전라북도에 소재한 3개 대학과 전라남도에 소재한 1개 대학의 학생들을 선정하였고, 중국 대학생은 山東省靑島市에 소재한 1개 대학의 학생들을 선정하였다. 연구대상의 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력을 측정하기 위하여 PACI, ICQ 척도를 사용하였고, 한중 두 집단에 각기 한국어판과 중국어판 설문지를 실시하였으며, 총 580명(한국 309명, 중국 271명)의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 주요결과로는 부모-자녀 의사소통 하위영역 중 어머니 개방형, 어머니 폐쇄형에서 한국과 중국 대학생들이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대인관계 능력의 하위영역 중 처음 관계 맺기, 자기노출, 정서적 지지, 대인갈등 다루기에서 한국과 중국 대학생들이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 그리고 부모-자녀 의사소통과 대인관계 능력의 관계를 알아본 결과 아버지 개방형은 처음 관계 맺기, 자기노출, 정서적 지지, 대인갈등 다루기와 정적 관계를 보였고, 어머니 개방형은 정서적 지지와 정적 관계를 보였다. 그리고 이러한 관계가 국적에 따라 달라지는지 알아본 결과 국적은 아버지 개방형과 처음 관계 맺기, 자기노출의 관계에 대하여 조절작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to identify the following things: whether there is any difference between South Korean and Chinese college student`s Parent adolescent communication and interpersonal relationship ability; how they are related; how the relationship becomes different according to the nationality. Korean college students and Chinese college students were selected as the study subjects to resolve the study subject. Korean students were from three colleges in Jellabuk-do and one college in Jellanam-do. And Chinese students were from one college in Cheongdosi, Sandongseong (山東省靑島市). In order to measure the subject`s parent-child communication, and interpersonal relationship ability, PACI, ICQ were used. 580 data (Korean 309, Chinese 271) were used for analysis. The results were as follows. when the national differences in parent-child communication were analyzed, there were meaningful differences between the mother-open communication and the mother-problematic communication. when the national differences in interpersonal relationship ability were analyzed, there were meaningful differences between the approachability, Self-exposure, emotional support, and interpersonal conflict dealing ability. Also, father-open communication revealed positive effects on approachability, Self-exposure, emotional support, and interpersonal conflict according to the result from the analysis between Parent adolescent communication and interpersonal relationship ability. mother-open communication revealed positive effects on emotional support according to the result from the analysis between Parent adolescent communication and interpersonal relationship ability. In addition, when the relationships were checked about the variability according to the nationality, it showed that the nationality played as an adjustment role in the relationship between father-open communication and approachability, Self-exposure.

        중국소비자의 한국화장품에 대한 국가이미지가 품질 및 만족도에 미치는 영향 -고관여와 저관여 소비자를 중심으로

        Chinese cosmetics market benefited a vertical growth from the sustained economic growth. The sustained economic growth contributes to the remarkable improvement of Chinese consumers` awareness of cosmetics, and as a result, cosmetics become a daily necessities for Chinese female consumers. The purpose of this study is to explore that the effects of country image of Korea on cosmetics` perceived quality, customer satisfaction and behavior intention by involvement. The subjects of this study were adults aged 20 Chinese female or over who had experienced in the purchase of cosmetics products. The survey filled out the questionnaire survey in Korea and in China. Through the process of survey, 417 valid data were obtained and were analyzed by path analysis with SPSS and AMOS. The results are as summarized follows: According to the results of this study, in case of low involvement group, company/technology image, and social/political image have positive impact on trust of quality, function of quality, and product price. Trust of quality, function of quality, and product price have positive impact on customer satisfaction. And trust of quality and customer satisfaction have positive impact on behavior intention(repurchase intention and word of mouth). In case of high involvement group, company/technology image, and social/political image have positive impact on trust of quality. Social/political image have positive impact on function of quality, and product price. Trust of quality, function of quality, and product price have positive impact on customer satisfaction. And trust of quality and customer satisfaction have positive impact on behavior intention. This study might be the first empirical research that investigates the effects of country image of Korea on cosmetics` perceived quality, customer satisfaction and behavior intention by involvement. The findings of this study implied country image of good social/political image should maintain and the most important thing is trust of quality for customer satisfaction.

        Atorvastatin regulates the migration and invasion of prostate cancer through the epithelial-mesenchymal transformation and matrix metalloproteinase pathways

        Purpose: Our purpose was to verify the effects of atorvastatin (ATO) on prostate cancer (PCa) proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, and metastasis and to further explore the drug’s mechanism of action. Materials and Methods: We used cell counting kit-8 (CCK8) and clone formation experiments to study the effect of ATO on the proliferation of PC3 cells. Flow cytometry and Hoechst 33342 staining were used to detect cell apoptosis. Cell migration and invasion were detected through wound healing experiments and transwell experiments. Western blotting was applied to detect apoptosis-related proteins (BAX, Bcl-2, PARP, and Caspase-3), epithelial-mesenchymal transformation (EMT) proteins, and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) expression. A mouse xenograft tumor model was established, and tumor volume and weight were determined. The expression levels of the above-mentioned proteins were determined through western blot. Results: ATO inhibited PC-3 cell proliferation and promoted cell apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner. ATO significantly up-regulated the expression of BAX, PARP, and Caspase-3 and inhibited the expression of Bcl-2. Wound healing and transwell experiments showed that ATO inhibited invasion and metastasis in PC-3 cells, possibly because ATO could inhibit the EMT and the expression of MMPs in PC-3 cells. Studies in nude mice showed that ATO significantly reduced tumor volume and weight; the expression levels of related proteins were consistent with the in vitro results. Conclusions: ATO inhibits the occurrence and development of PCa and regulates the migration and invasion of PCa cells by inhibiting the EMT and MMPs.
