        This study examined the moderating effect of motivation and interdependent self-construal in love relationship between sacrifice and satisfaction to Chinese unmarried couples. A survey of 116 Chinese couples aged 18 and older (116 men and 116 women) was conducted via the Internet to verify the three-way interaction effects of sacrifice, avoidance motive and interdependent self-construal of relationship satisfaction through regression analysis. Analysis shows that first, the sacrifice of men and women affects the satisfaction of the love relationship. Second, the perception of sacrifice of women did not have the motivating effect of their own avoidance motive in the effect on the partner's love relationship satisfaction. Third, the man’s perception of woman's sacrificing showed the motivating effect of the woman's motive of avoidance and interdependent selfUconstrual on the man's relationship satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that when a woman makes a sacrifice by an avoidance motive in a relationship, the more often a man perceives a woman's sacrifice, the more satisfied he is about the relationshiP, and this is because the woman's interdependent selfUconstrual is high. Based on these results, the relationship of men and women's sacrifice, motivation, and interdependent selfUconstrual on the relationship satisfaction was discussed.

      • Innovative research based on Chinese fantasy film narrative-centered on the integration of film and game

        With the advancements in digital technology, Chinese fantasy films are developing rapidly. This study analyzed over 200 Chinese fantasy-themed films released online or in theaters from September 25, 2008, to July 20, 2023. The results show that the average audience score for such films is about 5.49 (Rating data comes from Douban). The narrative of Chinese fantasy films has fallen into trouble, gradually becoming a constraint for producing this genre. Purpose: The narrative model of Chinese fantasy films is the core of this type of film, representing East’s openness to the oldest historical and cultural characteristics. Therefore, studying Chinese fantasy film narratives that integrate video games can better promote these films. It can expand the new direction of Chinese fantasy film narratives from immersion, cross-media, and expansibility perspectives. Methods: Analyze and study Chinese fantasy films' narrative problems and advantages and integrate narrative modes with similar film narrative modes (video game fusion films). In the first stage, through literature research, this article analyzes the development status of narratives in Chinese fantasy films and the narrative mode of film and game fusion from a general direction. In the second stage, through case analysis, it elaborates on the shortcomings in Chinese fantasy film narratives. In the third stage, comparative research analyzed the feasibility of innovative development of Chinese fantasy film narratives by focusing on the narrative method of film and game fusion. Results: This article systematically proposes that Chinese fantasy film narratives should be centered on film-game fusion narratives. Also, these narratives require improvement in immersion, cross-media, and story expansion perspectives. Conclusion: The following conclusions are drawn: 1) Enrich the interactivity of narratives and use the gamified narrative elements to increase audience stickiness; 2) Use cross-media to express stories, expand multiple story worlds, and focus on media narrative; 3) Build a narrative ecosystem. Emphasize the correlation between mutual narratives and shape the narrative world of Chinese fantasy films.

        Vortex-Induced Vibration Characteristics and Equivalent Static Force Calculation Method of Circular Steel Hangers on Arch Bridge

        In order to study the vortex-induced vibration (VIV) characteristics and equivalent static force calculation method of circular steel hangers on the arch bridge, a numerical simulation model of VIV was established using FLUENT software, and the reliability of the model was verified by wind tunnel tests. Effects of wind speed, damping ratio, initial tension and slenderness ratio on the VIV characteristics of circular steel hanger were investigated. Furthermore, the equivalent static force calculation formula and loading range of hanger considering VIV were presented. The results show that with the hanger’s damping ratio decreasing, the maximum amplitude and the lock-in wind speed range increases gradually, while the wind speed and frequency of VIV at the maximum amplitude were not significantly affected. As the initial tension increases or the slenderness ratio decreases, the frequency of VIV increases, and the wind speed corresponding to the maximum amplitude increases, however the maximum vibration amplitude has few changes. Based on a number of numerical analyses on VIV characteristics of hangers, the equivalent static force calculation method is put forward. The equivalent static force calculation method could provide a reference for the design and static analysis of the circular steel hangers.

        Generation of U and P Singularities in Partially Coherent Beams Using Intensity Control Holographic Modal Wavefront Sensor

        It is shown that polarization singularities of a new type, namely U and P singularities, arise at thetransverse cross section of a partially coherent beam, instead of the common singularities such as C pointsand L lines in a completely coherent vector field. A relationship between the two kind of singularitieswith respect to intensity is proposed. We also present a setup that can generate the new singularities, andany desired distribution of degree of polarization, using intensity control.

        A highly efficient multi-stage dielectric barrier discharge (DBD)-catalytic system for simultaneous toluene degradation and O3 elimination

        DBD-catalytic system has been widely studied for volatile organic compounds abatement, whereas howto obtain high mineralization rate and low zone emission synchronously remains a challenge. In view ofthis, a new type of multi-stage DBD-catalytic system (MS1) was established to abatement toluene in thisstudy. The mineralization rates of reactors IPC (63.81%) and MS1 (61.14%) were much higher than MS2,PPC1 and PPC2 reactors, which were 48.36%, 46.84%, and 5.8% at 33.8 (Vp-p) kV, respectively. For exportozone concentration, IPC reactor had the highest concentration of 160 ppm, and the values of reactorsMS1, MS2, PPC1, and PPC2 were 79, 34.2, 34.25 and 29 ppm, respectively. The catalyst filled in zone IIcan be utilized to further decompose the residual toluene and intermediates and also promote thedecomposition of ozone, which lead to the superior performance of the MS1 reactor. The influence ofapplied voltage, adsorbed amount, and discharge time on the toluene removal performance was investigatedto optimize the operation parameters of MS1 reactor, their appropriate values were 28.3–31.1 (Vpp)kV, 0.179–0.223 mmol, 1 h, respectively. Lastly, the contribution of disparate zones in multi-stageDBD-catalytic system to the toluene degradation were elucidated on the basis of the GC–MS results.

        Iron diffusion-doped magnesium-aluminum layered double oxides as a multifunctional adsorbent for removal of F-, Sb(III) and methyl orange contaminants from water

        Due to the complexity of the contaminations in wastewater, a universal adsorbent that takes many sorts of pollutant is desired. A multi-functioning magnetic Fe3O4-cored magnesium-aluminum layered double oxide (Fe3O4@LDO) composite was prepared and employed as an adsorbent for removing F-, Sb(III) and MO from water, respectively, which are three typical contaminants with different molecule sizes as water contamination. The effect of pH contact time and initial concentrations of pollutants on the removal rates of each contaminant were investigated. Fe3O4@LDO composite showed excellent adsorption performance for all of the three molecules F-, Sb(III) and MO, and their maximum adsorption capacities are as high as 258, 391, and 506mg/g, respectively. The adsorption process of F-, Sb(III) and MO on Fe3O4@LDO fitted well to Langmuir model and pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The adsorption mechanisms of F-, Sb(III) and MO on Fe3O4@LDO were investigated. We discovered that iron ions diffused from Fe3O4 nanospheres contributed to the good performance of the absorbent.

        Prevalence of feline calicivirus and the distribution of serum neutralizing antibody against isolate strains in cats of Hangzhou, China

        Background: Feline calicivirus (FCV) is a common pathogen of felids, and FCV vaccination is regularly practiced. The genetic variability and antigenic diversity of FCV hinder the effective control and prevention of infection by vaccination. Improved knowledge of the epidemiological characteristics of FCV should assist in the development of more effective vaccines. Objectives: This study aims to determine the prevalence of FCV in a population of cats with FCV-suspected clinical signs in Hangzhou and to demonstrate the antigenic and genetic relationships between vaccine status and representative isolated FCV strains. Methods: Cats (n = 516) from Hangzhou were investigated between 2018 and 2020. The association between risk factors and FCV infection was assessed. Phylogenetic analyses based on a capsid coding sequence were performed to identify the genetic relationships between strains. In vitro virus neutralization tests were used to assess antibody levels against isolated FCV strains in client-owned cats. Results: The FCV-positive rate of the examined cats was 43.0%. Risk factors significantly associated with FCV infection were vaccination status and oral symptoms. Phylogenetic analysis revealed a radial phylogeny with no evidence of temporal or countrywide clusters. There was a significant difference in the distribution of serum antibody titers between vaccinated and unvaccinated cats. Conclusions: This study revealed a high prevalence and genetic diversity of FCV in Hangzhou. The results indicate that the efficacy of FCV vaccination is unsatisfactory. More comprehensive and refined vaccination protocols are an urgent and unmet need.

        Novel asymmetric duty modulation for DAB converters to improve light load efficiency

        In a DC distribution network, the solid-state transformer (SST) and energy storage systems require an isolated bidirectionalDC–DC converter (IBDC). Among the many IBDCs, the dual active bridge (DAB) converter has been widely studied dueto its advantages in terms of high power density and high efficiency. The traditional control strategy for DAB is phase shiftcontrol. However, when the primary and secondary side voltages do not match, the soft-switching characteristic and increasingcurrent in the phase shift control affect the application of DAB in scenarios involving input and output voltage changes. To improve the above-mentioned defects, a novel asymmetric duty modulation (ADM) control is proposed in this paper. Among the various multi-variable ADM controls, the two-variable ADM control is simple, but its current is higher under light loads. To improve this defect, this paper introduces trapezoidal modulation (TZM) control proposed for phase shift control into ADM to form a similar TZM (STZM) control corresponding to TZM control. This paper first expounds the basic principle of STZM control. On this basis, its basic characteristics are researched. With current stress as the optimization goal, an optimal STZM (OSTZM) control scheme with minimum current stress is proposed, and the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis is verified on the experimental bench. The result shows that STZM control can improve efficiency under light loads by reducing the current and ensuring full ZVS.

        Decentralized Multiple Control for DC Microgrid with Hybrid Energy Storage

        For a microgrid with hybrid energy storage system , unreasonable power distribution, significant voltage deviation and state-of-charge (SOC) violation are major issues. Conventionally, they are achieved by introducing communication into centralized control or distributed control. This paper proposes a decentralized multiple control to enhance the performance of the system. A low-pass filter based on droop control is applied to battery energy storage system (BESS), and a low-pass difference filter based on proportional-integral (PI) voltage regulation is employed for supercapacitor (SC). The cooperation between them realizes power distribution, in which the average power is compensated by BESS and the high-frequency fluctuation is suppressed by SC. Meanwhile, the voltage deviation is diminished through mode re-division. Considering the SOC imbalance of BESSs and SOC violation of SC, current correction and voltage compensation methods based on local information are proposed to optimize the current sharing of BESSs and ensure the availability of SC, respectively. The advantage of voltage compensation is that, the SC is still available in process of SOC recovery. The simulation model is established on the MATLAB/Simulink environment and the feasibility of proposed strategy is verified by simulation analysis in different scenarios.
