        E-rosette法에 의한 T cell의 百分率과 螢光抗體法, 感作牛赤血球擔體法, 酵素抗體法 및 마우스赤血球 rosette法에 의한 B cell 의 百分率을 檢査하여 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 정상성인군의 active T cell은 26±8.2%이었고 total T cell은 72±4.9%이었다. B cell 는 螢光抗體法으로 22±5.4%, 感作牛赤血球擔體法으로 15.8±4.9%, 酵素抗體法으로 15±5.2% 그리고 mouse RBC-rosette法으로 17.2±4.1%이었다. 惡性腫瘍에 있어서 active T cell은 27.±10.4%이었고 total T cell 은 59±11.2%로서 정상인군에 비하여 유의한 감소를 보였다. 良性疾患에 있어서 T cell 은 정상인군에 비하여 유의한 차이를 볼 수 없었다. T cell percent by E-rosette and B cell by fluorescent antibody, senitized ox RBC rosette, enzyme antibody and mouse RBC rosette tests were performed. In healthy adult group the active T cell was 26±8.2% and total T cell was 72±4.9%, B cell by fluorescent antibody was 22.±5.40%, by ox RBC rosette 15.8±4.9%, by enzyme antibody 15±5.2% and by RBC-rosette 17.2±4.1%. In malignant tumor the active T cell was 27±10.4% and total T cell was 59±11.2%. In benign diseases T cell count showed no significant difference from normal adult group.

      • 强靭鑄鐵의 熔接性에 關한 硏究

        The matrix of ductile cast iron are welded by pre-heating it at 300℃ in the room temperature. Through the mechanical, non-desbructive testing and analysis of the composition. the possibility if arc welding of ductile cast iron are studied as follows; 1. L electrode is the best among them in weldability, impact value and machinability. The next is LB electrode followed by S electrode. C electrode is last. However, the tensile strength showed in the following order: LB, S, L, C. 2. LB, S, L, C, all are available for the welding of cast iron. 3. The above experiment showed that L and LB are good in general. In addition LB is low in price, we therefore prospect that it will be widely used as the electrode for cast iron.

      • Si-Schottky障壁型의 大陽電池 製作에 관한 硏究

        The characteristics of these Si-schottky barrier type and Heterojunction type solar cells are as follows; 1. SnO_2/n-Si Heterojunction Solar Cells Fabricated by Spray Pyrolysis Method SnO_2 film were deposited on the (100) or (111) surface of Si single crystal by the spray pyrolysis method. The best SnO_2/n-Si solar cell has a good performance, with an open-circult voltage: Voc.=0.45V, short circuit current: Isc.=35.5㎃, fill factor: FF.=0.64, and conversion efficiency: η=10.2% under 98㎽/㎠ irradiation of AMl. The spray pyrolysis described in this paper is simple and suitable for mass production. One possibility for cost reduction lies in this method of junction fabrication, and the idea of simply deposited SnO_2/n-Si junction is, at first sight, very attractive. Hence the SnO_2/n-Si Solar Cell and the effectiveness of this method may be of great value in some future production of low-cost solar cells. 2. In_2O_3: Sn Heterojunction Solar Cells Fabricated by Spray Pyrolitic Method Highly conductive and transparent thin films of In_2O_3: Sn (ITO) are fabricated by spray pyrolytic method. The parameters of these thin films are as follows: resistivity ρ = 1.5×10 exp (-3) Ω·㎝, carrier concentration n = 7.5×10 exp (19) cm^-3, mobility μ = 55.5 ㎠/V·sec and transmission 85-90% over visible and long wave-length region. These thin films have simple cubic system with lattice constant 10.2Å. In_2O_3: Sn/n-Si heterojunction solar cells are fabricated, depositing In_2O_3: Sn (ITO) thin films on n-Si substrates with orientation(100) and resistively 2-3Ω, ㎝ by spray pyrolitic method. Under AMl sunlight simulator, the parameters of the excellent cell obtained has open-circuit voltage Voc=0.52V, short-circuit current I_sc=39.0㎃, fill factor: F.F=0.60 and conversion efficiencyη=12.1%. 3. Al/p-Si MOS Solar Cells Fabricated by Vacuum Evaporation Method Al/p-Si MOS solar cells, consisting of Al on P-tupe silicon with a thin interfacial layer of SiO_2 have been found to have good light conversion efficiency for solar radiation. The effects of the oxide layer thickness between metal and substrate were investigated. Under AMl simulated sunlight illumination the best cell has open circuit voltage Voc=0.50V, short-circuit current I_sc=26.3㎃/㎠, fill-factor FF=0.70 and conversion efficiency η=9.2%. 4. Cr-Cu/P-Si MOS Solar Cells Fabricated by Vacuum Evaporation Method Cr-Cu/p-Si MOS Solar cells, consisting of Cr-Cu on p-type silicon with a thin interfacial layer of SiO_2 have been found to have good light conversion efficiency for solar radiation. The effects of the oxide layer thickness between metal and substrate were investigated. Under AMl simulated sunlight illumination the best cell has open circuit voltage Voc=0.49V, short-circuit current I_sc=26.4㎃, fill-factor: FF=0.72 and conversion efficiency η=9.3%.

        FIRST ATLAS DOMESTIC STANDARD PROBLEM (DSP-01) FOR THE CODE ASSESSMENT

        KAERI has been operating an integral effect test facility, ATLAS (Advanced Thermal-Hydraulic Test Loop for Accident Simulation), for accident simulations of advanced PWRs. Regarding integral effect tests, a database for major design basis accidents has been accumulated and a Domestic Standard Problem (DSP) exercise using the ATLAS has been proposed and successfully performed. The ATLAS DSP aims at the effective utilization of an integral effect database obtained from the ATLAS, the establishment of a cooperative framework in the domestic nuclear industry, better understanding of thermal hydraulic phenomena, and an investigation of the potential limitations of the existing best-estimate safety analysis codes. For the first ATLAS DSP exercise (DSP-01), integral effect test data for a 100% DVI line break accident of the APR1400 was selected by considering its technical importance and by incorporating comments from participants. Twelve domestic organizations joined in this DSP-01 exercise. Finally, ten of these organizations submitted their calculation results. This ATLAS DSP-01 exercise progressed as an open calculation; the integral effect test data was delivered to the participants prior to the code calculations. The MARS-KS was favored by most participants but the RELAP5/MOD3.3 code was also used by a few participants. This paper presents all the information of the DSP-01 exercise as well as the comparison results between the calculations and the test data. Lessons learned from the first DSP-01 are presented and recommendations for code users as well as for developers are suggested.

      • 객담내 결핵균의 조기발육 시도

        보존 결핵 균주 5주를 가지고 hole slide culture 방법에 의하여 기초 실험을 하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 객담 108례를 이 방법으로 배양하여 객담내 결핵균의 조기 발육을 시도하여 얻은 성적은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 직접 도말 검경에서 양성인 객담15례(14.0%)중 hole slide culture 방법 및 Lowenstein-Jensen 배지에서의 배양 양성은 13례(86.7%)였으며, hole slide culture 방법에서 제 2일차에 이미 심한 균체의 신장이 있었다. 이러한 심한 균체의 신장은 균배양 양성의 가능성을 예견케 하였다. 직접 도말 검경에서 음성인 2례에서 양성 배양이 되었는데 hole slide culture 방법 제 6일차 및 제 8일차에서 심한 균체의 신장이 있었다. The five strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis were cultured by the hole slide culture method for the basic experiment, and were inoculated on the Loewvenstein-Jensen media simultaneously. The results of the cultures of the microorganisms were all positive in the above method and on the Loewenstein-Jensen media. An early detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in 108 case of sputum was attempted by the hole slide culture method as like as the basic experimental test as above, and the results were obtained as follows; In 15 microscopic positive cases on the direct smears, 13 cases of them were positive culture by the hole slide culture method and also on the Loewvenstein-Jensen media, and two cases of them were negative by that method and on that media. In cases of negatives on the smears, two cases were only positive by the method and on the media. The long elongation of bacterial cell was observed on the slide of the second day culture in most of all cases, and there was increses of the number and dimension of the elongated cell on slide of the fourth day culture, and were many groups which composed of the elongated cells of mycobacteria containing granules in the cells on the slide of sixth day culture. In the slides of the eighth day and 10th day culture, the above all figures were mixed each others.

        Regulation of L-type Calcium Channel Current by Somatostatin in Guinea-Pig Gastric Myocytes

        To study the direct effect of somatostatin (SS) on calcium channel current ($I_{Ba}$) in guinea-pig gastric myocytes, $I_{Ba}$ was recorded by using whole-cell patch clamp technique in single smooth muscle cells. Nicardipine ($1{\mu}M$), a L-type $Ca^{2+}$ channel blocker, inhibited $I_{Ba}$ by $98{\pm}1.9$% (n=5), however $I_{Ba}$ was decreased in a reversible manner by application of SS. The peak $I_{Ba}$ at 0 mV were decreased to $95{\pm}1.5$, $92{\pm}1.9$, $82{\pm}4.0$, $66{\pm}5.8$, $10{\pm}2.9$% at $10^{-10}$, $10^{-9}$, $10^{-8}$, $10^{-7}$, $10^{-5}$ M of SS, respectively (n=3∼6; $mean{\pm}SEM$). The steady-state activation and inactivation curves of $I_{Ba}$ as a function of membrane potentials were well fitted by a Boltzmann equation. Voltage of half-activation ($V_{0.5}$) was $-12{\pm}0.5$ mV in control and $-11{\pm}1.9$ mV in SS treated groups (respectively, n=5). The same values of half-inactivation were $-35{\pm}1.4$ mV and $-35{\pm}1.9$ mV (respectively, n=5). There was no significant difference in activation and inactivation kinetics of $I_{Ba}$ by SS. Inhibitory effect of SS on $I_{Ba}$ was significantly reduced by either dialysis of intracellular solution with $GDP_{\beta}S$, a non-hydrolysable G protein inhibitor, or pretreatment with pertussis toxin (PTX). SS also decreased contraction of guinea-pig gastric antral smooth muscle. In conclusion, SS decreases voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel current ($VDCC_L$) via PTXsensitive signaling pathways in guinea-pig antral circular myocytes.

        Primary aldosteronism is a condition in which chronic aldosterone excess exists independently or semiindependently of the renin-angiotensin system, resulting in hypertension and hypokalemia. The most common cause of primary aldosteronism is unilateral aldosterone-producing adrenal cortical adenoma. The indiopathic aldosteronism showing bilateral adrenocortical hyperplasia accounts for the bulk of the remaining cases. Only rare cases of primary aldosteronism are known to be due to multiple aldosterone-producing adrenocortical adenoma. We report a case of primary aldosteronism due to bilateral adenomas, which was diagnosed preoperatively by abdomen CT and then confirmed by operation and pathological findings.
