Possible Involvement of Photoperiodic Regulation in Reproductive Endocrine System of Female Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus

This study investigated possible involvement of photoperiodic regulation in reproductive endocrine system of female olive flounder. To investigate the influence on brain-pituitary axis in endocrine system by regulating photoperiod, compared expression level of Kisspeptin and sbGnRH mRNA in brain and FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA in pituitary before and after spawning. Photoperiod was treated natural photoperiod and long photoperiod (15L:9D) conditions from Aug. 2013 to Jun. 2014. Continuous long photoperiod treatment from Aug. (post-spawning phase) was inhibited gonadal development of female olive flounder. In natural photoperiod group, the Kiss2 expression level a significant declined in Mar. (spawning period). And also, FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA expression levels were increasing at this period. However, in long photoperiod group, hypothalamic Kiss2, FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA expression levels did not show any significant fluctuation. These results suggest that expression of hypothalamic Kiss2, GtH and GH in the pituitary would change in response to photoperiod and their possible involvement of photoperiodic regulation in reproductive endocrine system of the BPG axis.

Recycling waste concrete is very important for environmental pollution prevention, overcome aggregates shortage and effective use of resource. The examples of using recycled aggregates such as ground backfill, road construction, concrete production. But, aggregate for structural concrete requires high degree of quality. We investigated the quality of domestic recycled aggregates in order to activate the use of recycled aggregates to seek the technologically, politically supplement factors to contribute to the effective use of recycled aggregates which has ever been a national problem, and which would solve the aggregates shortage.

자연환경방사선에 의한 피폭선량(유효선량당량)의 종합적 해석연구

자연환경방사선의 세 가지 주요 요소인 지각방사선, 우주선 전리성분 및 라돈과 그 자핵종이 주는 선량을 측정, 해석하였는 바 18개월간에 걸쳐 대전, 수원, 경산 지역에 대하여 수행하고 이를 종합하여 유효선량당량으로 평가하였다. 지각방사선과 우주선 전리성분 측정을 위하여 3"∮×3" Nal(Tl) 섬광검출기와 휴대형 다중파고분석기를 이용한 감마선 분광분석 및 ^7LiF PTEE disk TLD에 의한 적산선량측정을 병행하였고, 공기중 라돈농도의 측정은 CR-39 고체비적검출기를 내장한 라돈컵을 설계제작하여 사용하였으며 비적수 라돈농도 교정인자는 스웨덴 국립방사선 방호연구소의 표준 라돈 챔버내에서 조사하여 결정하였다. 세 지역의 가연방사선에 의한 유효선량당량에는 약간의 수치적 차이는 있었으나 본질적 차이는 찾아볼 수 없었으며 지역 측정치의 분산가중 평균치는 지각방사선 (463±3)uSvㆍy^-1[(52.9±0.3)nSvㆍh^-1], 우주선 전리성분 (287±15)uSvㆍy^-1[(32.8±1.7)nSvㆍy^-1]로 외부 피폭이 (775±9)uSvㆍy^-1[(88.5±1.0)nSvㆍy^-1]였으며 라돈과 그 자핵종에 의한 내부피폭은 (1973±298)uSvㆍy^-1[(225.2±34.0)nSvㆍy^-1]였다. 따라서 자연황경방사선에 의한 여간 총 선량당량은 (2762±296)uSvㆍy^-1[(315.3±34.0)nSvㆍh^-1]로 평가되었는데 이 값들은 UN보고서^(11)에 나온 “정상적 자연방사선 지역”의 값과 비교할 만한 타당한 값으로 나타났다. Assessment of effective dose equivalent from natural environmental radiation that consists of terrestrial gamma­ray, ionizing component of cosmic­ray and alpha­rays of atmospheric radon and its decay products has been carried out for 18 months in Daejeon, Suwon and Kyungsan areas. A 3"∮×3"cylindrical Nal(Ti) scintillation detector in association with portable multichannel analyser and ^7LiF PTFE disk TLDs were used for the measurement of terrestrial gamma­ray and cosmic­ray ionizing component, while self­designed radon­cups with CR-39 SSNTD attached to the inside bottom were used for the integral measurement of at­mospheric radon concentration. Determination of calibration factor for converting track density of CR-39 detector to radon concentration was made by irradiation of radon­cups in the standard radon chamber of Swedish National Institute of Radiation Protection. Although resultant effective dose equivalents of three different measurment points show minor numerical differences, no essential discripancy between the places was found. The variance weighted means of the annual effective dose equivalents of each component of radiation from the tree places came out to be: (463±3)uSvㆍy^-1[(52.9±0.3)nSvㆍy^-1] for terrestrial gamma­ray, (287±15)uSvㆍy^-1[(32.8±1.7)nSvㆍy^-1] for ionizing component of cosmic­ray and (1973±298)uSvㆍy^-1[(225.2±34.0)nSvㆍy^-1] for internal exposure of radon and its decay products. Consequent total effective dose equivalent turned out to be (2762±298)uSvㆍy^-1[(315.3±34.0)nSvㆍy^-1], which if reasonably comparable with that appeared in UNSCEAR Report^[11]as per caput annual effective dose equivalent in “areas of normal back ground radiation.”

고순도 AlN분체 합성을 위한 Al-N-H-Cl 반응계의 열역학적 평형조성

Thermodynamic equilibrium compositions in the Al-N-H-Cl system were determined to predict the theoretical equilibrium yields of AlN by the vapor phase reaction of NH₃ and AlCl₃. The calculation procedure of the equilibrium composition was to determine the mixture composition which corresponds to the minimum total Gibbs free energy of the reacting system. The equilibrium yields of AlN at 600-1200 K showed above 90% when the initial amounts of AlCl₃and of NH₃were equal and below ?? moles, respectively. The effect of the total pressure on the equilibrium yields was insignificant. The domain above 95% yields according to the initial ratio of AlCl₃to NH₃at 1200 K and 1300 K was also given. The theoretical aspects for the synthesis of high-purity AlN powders by the gas phase reaction of AlCl₃and NH₃were discussed.

Nowadays, the agricultural products trade system is changing rapidly because the condition of farming trade system is undergoing a change quickly. Since 1996 trade market was opened completely, so many multinational foreign enterprises are advancing our domestic market. These new trade enterprises are looking for marketing strategy that treat agricultural products strategically. So whole agricultural products system are changing fast. Finally it affects not only trade but also production parts. And then I'll analyze the participation condition of products trade according to the agricultural products marketing changes and its changing prospect. Moreover the countermeasure has to have trademind as a producer of products, and recognize the stability of goods to satisfy the standard of consumer. At last, producer community should develop business positively to raise the power of the marketing negotiation and should have a information about the trade change.

Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Endometriosis in the abdominal scar following cesarean section is very rare condition among the extrapelvic endometriosis. The frequency of abdominal wall endometriosis secondary to cesarean section is from 0.03% to 0.8% in some reports. It is difficult to diagnosed in spite of the typical symptoms. The typical symptom is aching swelling in the area of the surgical scar, which is influenced by the phases of menstruation. The definitive diagnosis is established by pathologic analysis. Surgical excision remains the treatment of choice. The majority of patients presented from 1 to 2 years after the precipitating operation. We experienced an unusual case of abdominal wall endometriosis presented over 10 years after cesarean section, who was admitted to our hospital complaining of recurrent left lower abdominal pain. So, we report this case with a brief review of the concerned literatures.

Crystal growth of Yttrium oxalate seed crystals in supersaturated solutions has been studied EDTA titration method. Growth rate for Yttrium oxalate crystals was determined from de-supersaturation curve of solution in agitated reactor. Change of growth mechanism and rate of yttrium oxalate crystals on agitation speed and concentration of additive were investigated. Experimental method are suggested to determin the parameters in the simple two-step model and factors which influence the mass-transfer and surface-reaction coefficients are identified. Then the controlling step of crystal growth process is judged from the effectiveness factor. Firstly, growth rate was increased with increasing agitation speed, but exponential constant wasn't change with increasing agitation speed. As this result, linear growth rate were first-order at high supersaturation, that is, growth rate controlled due to mass trasfer step in high supersaturation solution. Finally, studing on effect of additive, growth rate were decreased with increasing concentration of additive, but exponential constant were increased. Then the individual rate constants, kd and kr, were determined from the simple two-step model. In addition, using effectiveness factors, growth rate were measured of the degree of mass-trasfer or surface-reaction control.
