Atomically thin PdS2: physical characteristics and electronic device applications

This paper details the fabrication and characterization of feld-efect transistors (FETs) and photodetector devices based on few-layered palladium disulfde (PdS2) flms. PdS2 is an emerging member of the transition metal dichalcogenide family that has not been extensively studied. In this study, we evaluated various characteristics of PdS2 by fabricating FET devices and measured the contact resistance using the transmission line method to be 114 MΩ ∙ μm. We evaluated the electron transport properties of the fabricated FETs to confrm their n-type behavior and measured their capacitance–voltage (C–V) curves. The feld-efect mobility of the few-layered PdS2 FETs fabricated through transmission line patterning was investigated at room temperature (300 K) and found to be 2.85 cm2 V−1 s −1.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The oxygen storage capacity of amorphous CeO<SUB>2</SUB> and its mechanism were investigated in a Zr-doped MnO<SUB>x</SUB>-CeO<SUB>2</SUB>/TiO<SUB>2</SUB> catalyst at low temperatures. The oxygen storage capacity of several catalysts was determined by the release of lattice oxygen upon reduction of Ce<SUP>4+</SUP> to Ce<SUP>3+</SUP>. We designed a temperature programmed reduction analysis using ammonia gas to measure the amount of lattice oxygen release and identify a decrease in reaction-onset temperature from 136°C to 75°C upon doping the catalyst with Zr. Additional reduction was observed in Zr-doped MnO<SUB>x</SUB>-CeO<SUB>2</SUB>/TiO<SUB>2</SUB> and this was attributed to an increase in temperature sensitivity of thermal vibrations of the first Ce–O coordination shell. The temperature dependence of the thermal vibrations was identified by examining the behavior of the Debye–Waller factor as a function of temperature with fitting the extended X-ray absorption fine structure.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

The purpose of this study was to investigate the recent development of meat analog, industrialization, and the related legal changes worldwide. Summarizing the current status of the industrialization of meat analog, studies on plant-based meat, mycoprotein, and edible insects were mainly conducted to investigate their sensory properties (texture, taste, flavor, and color resembling meat), nutritional and safety evaluations, acquisition method of meat alternatives, and commercialization. Cultured meat is mainly studied for developing muscle satellite cell acquisition and support techniques or materials for the formation of structures. However, these technologies have not reached the level for active industrialization. Even though there are differences in the food categories and labeling between countries, it is common to cause confusion or to relay false information to consumers; therefore, it is important to provide accurate information. In this study, there were some differences in the food classification and food definition (labeling) contents for each country and state depending on the product shape or form, raw materials, and ingredients. Therefore, this study can provide information about the current research available on meat alternatives, improve regulation, and clarify laws related to the meat analog industry, which can potentially grow alongside the livestock industry.

질의와 질의 주변에 나오는 어휘는 의미적으로 연관되어있다는 가정하에 질의뿐만 아니라 질의 주변에 나오는 문맥 어휘들도 가중치를 높여준다면 검색에 효율을 높일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 질의와 질의 주변에 나오는 문맥 어휘들에게 가중치를 주어 질의 어휘의 위치 가중치를 반영한 문서를 표현하고, 위치 가중치가 반영된 문서 벡터들 사이의 유사도를 계산하여 클러스터 기반 재순위화를 하여 성능을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 뉴스 집합인 TREC AP 문서를 이용하여 언어 모델, 위치 가중치를 이용한 언어모델, 클러스터 기반 재순위화 모델의 비교실험을 통해 유효성을 검증한다.
