      • 분편 인플루엔자백신(split influenza vaccine)의 임상효과 및 면역원성에 관한 연구

        목적 : 아단위 인플루엔자 백신 접종 후 백신의 인플루엔자 예방효과, 인플루엔자 방어 항체형성, 인플루엔자 백신의 안전성을 조사하고자 하였다. 방법 : 총 571명을 대상으로 인플루엔자 백신 접종을 하였고, 이들 접종자에서 인플루엔자 양질환의 이환을 조사하여 인플루엔자 백신의 인플루엔자예방효과를 알아보았고, 백신의 접종 전 및 접종 4주 후 혈청에서 혈구응집억제물(Hemagglutination Inhibition : HAI) 항체 검사를 실시하여 백신의 방어항체생성을 조사하였고, 백신의 안전성을 알아보기 위해 백신접종 후 1주일 이내의 부작용을 조사하였다. 결과 :백신 접종군과 백신 비접종군에서 인플루엔자 양 질환의 이환을 조사한 결과 접종군 28.35%, 비접종군 35.88%으로 나왔으며, p 값이 0.001로 통계적으로 접종군에서 유의하게 낮았고, 인플루엔자 양 질환의 예방 효과는 20.97%를 보였다. 백신의 방어항체 형성의 평가를 위해 유럽의 인플루엔자 백신 허가 기준을 조사하였는데 B/Guangdong/5/94균주의 백신접종 후 항체가 40이상의 비율을 제외한 다른 기준은 모두 만족 시켰다. 부작용은 전체 조사자 521명중 149명(29%)으로 주로 접종 부위의 국소 부작용을 호소했고, 전신 부작용은 2% 내외였으며 특별히 심각한 부작용은 발견되지 않았다. 결론 : 분편 인플루엔자 백신은 인플루엔자양질환의 예방과 방어항체생성에 효과 있으며 안전한 것으로 사료된다. Background : The safety and effectiveness of influenza vaccine are well known in developed country. The influenza vaccination has been recommended as one of the tentative immunization schedule for indicated persons since 1997 in Korea. But there are still no available data about them, even though nearly 5 million doses of influenza vaccine were used in 1997-1998 season. So it is immediately needed to investigate the safety. efficacy and immunogenicity of influenza vaccine among Korean. Methods : We studied the clinical efficacy of influenza vaccine by monitoring Occurrence of influenza-like illness in influenza risk group(vaccination ; 300, non-vaccination; 215) from December in 1997 to March in 1998. We used the split quadrivalent influenza vaccine containing 15 microgram of hemagglutinin of A/Beijing/262/95(HlNl), A/Wuhan/359/95(H3N2), B/Mie/1/93 and B/Guangdong/5/94. Hemagglutination inhibition(HA1) antibody titers were determined before immunization and 1 months after vaccination And we evaluated adverse effect of influenza vaccination at 7 days after vaccination. Results : Influenza vaccination was associated with si@icant reductions in influenza-like spptoms(vaccination group; 28.35%, non-vaccination group, 35.88%, p=0.001). The preventive effect of influenza-like i3lne.s among influenza risk goup was 20.97%. And immunogenicity of influenza A and B exceeded all of the European licensure criteria for immunogenicity except postvaccination proportion of titers 240 of B/Guangdong/5/94 strain. And the adverse effects were mainly local injection site problem and no serious adverse effect was noted. Conclusion : Split influenza vaccine is safe, inmunogenic and eff'tive in influenza risk group in Korea.

        The objective of this study was to help decision-makers to be able to make a decision on a social tourism investment, based on the reasonable estimate standard. This was possible by introducing the estimate method for the effectiveness of investment on social tourism project and by using this method on the analysis of the alternative investment projects. For the analysis and estimate of welfare tourism investment, the advanced cost-benefit model was developed, based on the previous traditional cost-benefit analysis. This new cost-benefit model supplemented the weakness fo traditional cost-benefit model by utilizing the concept of total-social-benefit and total-social-cost.

      • 고강도 알루미늄 합금의 부식피로균열 성장 거동에 관한 연구(Ⅲ) : 각 환경에서의 온도변화의 영향 The Effect of Temperature Change in Each Environment

        Fatigue crack growth rates in commercial plate of high strength aluminum alloy 7075-T651 were investigated for the T-L direction in air and sea water. In this paper the effect of temperature change on fatigue crack growth rates in air(100℃, 150℃, 200℃), and sea water(30℃, 60℃) environments were investigated by using test positive-positive load(trapezoid wave form). The effect of temperature change in air environment, a-N curve in air(200℃) was much faster about 1.5 times than in air(100℃). The experimental results show that the fatigue crack growth behaviors in temperature change were affected both air and sea water. In particular, through fatigue crack growth behavior in sea water, Cl^- solution was caused to deteriorate Al-alloy and fine-formation in air can be expected change according to the effect of elevated-temperature. The fatigue crack growth rates in region at low ΔK in sea water was much faster in 60℃environment than in 30℃ environment, but stable growth region ΔK was coincided. The fatigue crack growth rates in air at same ΔK value was increased with temperature, the effect on temperature was almost constant all the region of ΔK. More over, when C and m values were compared in air and sea water, the temperature change did not affect m values.

        초임계 이산화탄소로 추출한 유자껍질의 향기성분

        초임계 이산화탄소를 이용하여 유자(Citrus junos)껍질의 향기성분을 추출하기 위해 동결건조한 유자과피분말을 4,000psi와 40 에서 운전하면서 이산화탄소의 소비량에 따라 4단계로 분획하여 분획별 향기성분의 특성을 조사하였다. 초임계 이산화탄소에 대한 유자의 향기 성분의 수율은 0.011g/CO_2(L)였으며, 최대추출수율은 8.812g/kg이었다. 초임계 이산화탄소로 추출한 유자과피의 주요향기성분은 dl-limonene, γ-terpinene, linaollo, sabinene, β-myrcene, α-pinene, β-farnesene, α-terpineol 과 terpinolene 등 9종이었다. 분획별 향기성분은 휘발성이 높은 α-pinene, β-myrcene과 dl-limonene은 추출시간이 길어짐에 따라 함량이 감소하였으며, 이와 반대로 휘발성이 낮은 α-terpineol과 β-farnesene은 추출시간이 길어짐에 따라 함량이 증가하였다. 따라서 초임계 이산화탄소로 유자의 향기성분을 추출할 경우 추출시간에 따라 얻어지는 분획의 향기 성분 조성이 서로 다른 것으로 나타났다. Volatile compounds were extracted from freeze-dried citron peel(Citrus junos) using supercritical CO_2 under 4,000psi at 40℃. Four fractions were obtained with consumption of CO_2. Volatile compounds of extracts were analyzed by GC-MSD. Yield of volatile compounds from citron peel was 0.11g/CO_2(l) and maximum yield was 8.812g/kg. Major volatile compounds of extracts were dl-limonene, γ-terpinene, linalool, sabinene, β-myrcene, α-pinene, β-farnesene, α-terpineol and terpinolene. α-Pinene, β-myrcene and dl-limonene in the fractions decereased gradually, while α-terpineol and β-farnesene increased as the consumption of CO_2 increased.

      • 호흡기감염증에 대한 Cefuroxime Axetil(Zinnat�)의 임상효과

        To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Zinnat in patients with respiratory tract infections, 20 patients were treated with Zinnat (250 mg b.i.d). Among 20 cases, 5 cases had pneumonia, 5 cases exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, 4 cases acute bronchitis, 3 cases bronchiectasis with infection, and acute tonsilitis, bronchial asthma with infection and emphysema with infection 1 case, respectively. The response was cure in 12 cases, partial response in 6 cases and no response in 2 cases. There were no significant clinical and laboratory side effects except dyspepsia and nausea (1 case) and diarrhea (1 case). Zinnat was considered to be useful agent against bacterial respiratory tract infections.

        Fruit are normally kept in a pouch of cold storage room in winter. In this work, a mathematical model that is emulating the fruit respiration in the pouch of the storage has been established. The calculated result is compared to the actual measured gaseous composition change of pear in the packaging pouch LDPE film incorporated with silver coated ceramic powder. The presented model, that is combining polysaccharide digestion kinetics in pear, Fickian diffusion for permeation of the film and sigmoidal adsorption equilibrium between the film and gases, predicts the respiration of the pear in the packing film fairly well.

        Fatigue crack growth in commercial plate of high strength aluminum alloy 7075-T651 has been studied under corrosion environments. In this paper the effect of cyclic load wave-form(trapezoid and triangle) on fatigue crack growth in air, water and sea water environments were investigated using standard LEFM testing procedures. It was founded that the fatigue crack growth behaviors were not affected by cyclic load wave-forms. In regin Ⅱ(stable crack growth region), the fatigue crack growth behaviors were affected by corrosion environments but the values of m are not affected by corrosion environments.

      • 수직형 CVD 반응기에서 ZnO 박막의 합성

        ZnO was synthesized by deposing gas phase zinc acetate on a rotating disk in a vertical thermal CVD reactor. Structural and optical characteristics of the ZnO thin film were investigated after deposition. Dependency of the film growth rate on the temperature of deposition was so high in the ranges of 350∼400℃ that the energy of activation was 150.54 kJ/mol, while it reduced to 27.72 kJ/mol, above 400℃. Deviation of growth rate was large at low spin rate in case of disk rotation but showed that it was small at high spin rate. The flux of carrier gas a factor of the growth rate. As a result investigation on effect for wafer type, it was known that the deviation of the growth rate could be expressed as a function of wafer type. ZnO thin film deposited on glass had a low absorbance at 400~900nm wave length ranges and oriented along the C-axis strongly.

      • 소의 시상하부내에서 Vasopressin과 Oxytion분비세포의 분포에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        This study was done to observe the distributions of Oxytocinergic and Vasopressinergic neurons in the hypothalamus of the cow. For the immunohistochemical staining, sections were reacted with the following sequence of solutions: monoclonal anti-vasopressin and anti-oxytocin, biotinylated anti-mouse IgG, avidin-biotin peroxidase complex, and Ni-DAB. The results observed under light microscope were summarized as follows. Our immunohistochemical investigations reveal both vasopressinergic and oxytocinergic neurons in the supraoptic nucleus(SON), paraventricular nucleus(PVN), accessory supraoptic nucleus (ASN), periventricular nucleus(PN), suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN), and arcuate nucleus(AN), but these two types of neurons were mainly distributed in the PVN and SON and the ratio of the number of vasopressinergic neurons to that of oxytocinergic neurons was 1:1.30 in the PVN, and 1:1.00 in the SON. These two types of neurons were round, oval and spindle-shaped and cell size was 30-55um.
