        하악 무치악 인공치아매식술시 하치조신경 전위술

        Modified surgical technique for transposition of the inferior alveolar nerve followed by immediate placement of endosseous implants in mandibles with moderate to severe atrophy are presented. Five transpositions of the inferior alveolar nerve together with the installation of 10 implants were performed in four patients. The mean postoperative follow-up time was 17 months, with a range of 8 to 20 months. All implants with functioning pontics remained stable, with no mobility or symptoms of pain and infection during the follow-up period. Neurosensory evaluation was performed using the two-point discrimination test. Two patients had objective neurosensory dysfunction at postoperative, but all the nerve function were reported as normal by the patients 4 months postoperatively.

      • Effect of Ionizing Radiation on Rat Tissue: Proteomic and Biochemical Analysis

        <P>Reactive oxygen species (ROS), generated by ionizing radiation, has been implicated in its effect on living tissues. We confirmed the changes in the oxidative stress markers upon irradiation. We characterized the changes in the proteome profile in rat liver after administering irradiation, and the affected proteins were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS and ESI-MS/MS. The identified proteins represent diverse sets of proteins participating in the cellular metabolism. Our results demonstrated that proteomics analysis is a useful method for characterization of a global proteome change caused by ionizing radiation to unravel the molecular mechanisms involved in the cellular responses to ionizing radiation.</P>

        노후공동주택의 거주성능평가요소에 관한 연구

        This study aims to propose the comprehensive evaluation of Performance multi-family housing. Most of the existing studies for the reproduction have evaluated the deterioration by the safety of structure. Therefore those pass over the functional factors which is important for the evaluation of residential qualities. This study represents that the reproduction renovation should not be secured the safety of structure but established the quality of life. And questionnaire asking expert's opinion also supplemented. As a result, the item for examination and the weight for evaluation are suggested in functional deterioration. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. Existent redevelopment criteria are not appropriate to decide the environmental comfort, the vital function of housing and the residential management finance. 2. The future criteria have to evaluate the existing environmental comfort, be reconstructed to put first general deterioration. 3. Evaluation elements was extracted throughout the document research. evaluation elements analysis system was separated in residential area, suburb of dwellings, community, and housing complexity environmental assesment. 4. Each category of influence ratio was extracted to assess total deterioration throughout the expert question survey. 5. Each category analysed : ① 0~30%: function is good (unnecessary to improve) ② 31~40%: average (necessary of partial improvement) ③ 41~59%: bad (necessary of total improvement) ④ 60~100%: the worst (unable to improve throughout the repair)

      • 쌍정 경계가 고온 초전도체 Y₁Ba₂Cu₃O단결정의 자기적특성에 미치는 영향

        일반적으로 쌍정 경계(twin boundary)는 고온초전도체Y₁Ba₂Cu₃O??? 단결정 내에서 핀 고정점(pinning center)로 작용하여 단결정 시료의 자화에 영향을 미칠 것으로 알려져 왔다. 그러나 이에 대한 체계적인 실험적 연구가 수행되지 않고 있다. 본 실험에서는 Y₁Ba₂Cu₃O??? 단결정 시료를 성장시킨 후, 재 후열처리 과정 중에 단축 가압 방법(uniaxial stress method)을 이용하여 단결정 시료를 detwinning 하였다. 편광효과가 관측된 micro-Raman spectra와 X-ray 회절 패턴으로부터 관측된 (001)면의 주 피크의 2Θ 값을 통해서 단결정이 잘 성장되었음을 확인하였다. 그리고, 반자성 차폐 효과, 마이스너 효과 및 자기이력 측정 결과로부터 detwinning시간이 길어져서 쌍정 경계의 비율이 감소할수록 자화폭이 감소함을 관측하였다. 이로부터 자속 고정(flux pinning)이 줄어듦을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 쌍정 경계가 고온초전도체 Y₁Ba₂Cu₃O??? 단결정의 핀 고정점으로 작용한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Generally it is suggested that twin boundaries play the major role of the pinning center in high-Tc superconductor Y₁Ba₂Cu₃???? single crystal and influences the magnetization. However, any systematic experiment related with this expectation has not been performed yet. In this experiment, after growing Y₁Ba₂Cu₃??? single crystals, we detwinned them in oxygen atmosphere using uniaxial stress method while annealing them again. It was verified that single crystals had been grown well from micro-Raman spectra that showed the polarization effect and 2Θ values of (001) plain peaks in X-ray diffraction pattern. We observed that values of magnetization of samples decreased from antimagnetic shield effects, Meissner effect and magnetic hysteresis as detwinning time was increased and this result means that flux pinning decreases. As a result we confirmed that twin boundaries act as a pinning center in high-Tc superconductor Y₁Ba₂Cu₃??? single crystal.

        산재보상을 신청한 뇌심혈관질환의 특성 분석

        목적: 이 연구는 뇌 · 심혈관 질환으로 업무상재해를 신청한 사례 중에서 승인된 사례와 불승인된 사례의 특성을 비교하여 뇌 · 심혈관 질환의 업무상 재해여부를 판단하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 방법: 2000년부터 2004년까지 근로복지공단에 업무상 재해로 요양이 신청되어 승인여부가 결정된 뇌 · 심혈관 질환자 12,309명을 대상으로 하였다. 승인여부와 관련된 특성을 확인하기 위해 연도별, 업종별, 규모별, 직업별, 성별, 연령별, 질환별, 생존유무별 그리고 기존질환 유무에 대하여 카이제곱 검정과 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 결과: 다변량 로지스틱 분석에서 뇌 · 심혈관 질환의 불승인에 대한 승인의 비차비는 광업을 기준으로 하였을 때에 전기가스 상수도업이 4.18(95% CI=1.43~12.17), 건설업이 2.39 (95% CI=1.22~4.69), 제조업이 2.10 (95% CI=1.08~4.07)이었고, 장치기계조작원 및 조립원에 비하여 서비스 근로자 및 상점과 시장 판매근로자 군이 1.90(95% CI=1.47~2.47), 전문가 군이 1.83(95% CI=1.50~2.23), 기술공 및 준전문가 군이 1.63(95% CI=1.35~1.97), 입법 공무원과 고위 임직원 및 관리자 군이 1.62(95% CI=1.24~2.12)이었고, 여성이 남성에 비하여 1.31(95% CI=1.13~1.53), 심장질환에 비하여 뇌혈관질환이 2.75(95% CI=2.42~3.13), 사망한 경우가 생존한 경우에 비하여 6.01(95% CI=4.89~7.38)이었다. 결론: 우리나라에서 뇌심혈관질환으로 업무상 재해를 신청하는 건수는 증가하고 있고 승인율은 비교적 높았으며 승인에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 업종, 규모, 직종, 성, 연령, 질환, 생존유무 등이 확인되었다. 특히 업종과 직종에 따라서 승인율의 차이가 큰 것이 어떠한 요인의 영향 때문인지에 대한 검토가 필요하고, 특히 뇌실질내 출혈의 경우에 다른 질환에 비하여 승인율이 매우 높았던 것은 업무수행성에 대한 인정기준의 잘못된 적용의 결과 이므로 시정이 필요하겠다. Objectives: This study was performed to provide fundamental data to judge whether or not cerebro and cardiovascular diseases are work-related, by comparing the characteristics between approved and non-approved cases among the worker's compensation claims. Methods: We collected 12,309 cerebro and cardiovascular disease claims based on the worker's compensation records of the Labor Welfare Corporation from 2000 to 2004. The approved and non-approved cases were analyzed according to factors such as the calendar year, industry, company size, occupation, gender, age group, classification of cerebro and cardiovascular diseases, fatality and underlying diseases. We used x²-test and multivariate logistic regression for the analysis. Results: According to multivariate logistic regression, electricity gas and water supply (OR=4.18, 95% CI=1.43~12.17), construction (OR=2.39, 95% CI=1.22~4.69) and manufacturing (OR=2.10, 95% CI=1.08~4.07) industries had a higher approval rate than mining and quarrying industries. Service workers and sales & marketing department workers (OR=1.90, 95% CI=1.47~2.47), professionals (OR=1.83, 95% CI=1.50~2.23), technicians and associate professionals (OR=1.63, 95% CI=1.35~1.97) and legislators and senior officials and managers (OR=l.62, 95% CI=1.24~2.12) had a higher approval rate than plant and machine operators and assemblers. Female workers had a higher approval rate (OR=1.31, 95% CI=1.13~1.53) than male workers. Cerebrovascular diseases had a higher approval rate (OR=2.75, 95% CI=2.42~3.13) than cardiovascular diseases. Fatal cases had a higher approval rate (OR=6.01, 95% CI=4.89~7.38) than surviving cases. Conclusion: For cerebro and cardiovascular diseases, workers' compensation claims are increasing, approval rates are relatively high and factors such as industry, company size, occupation, gender and fatality are related. A remarkable difference in the approval rate was found according to industry and occupation, suggesting the need for further study to identify which factors influence the approval rate. The approval rate for intracerebral hemorrhage arising in the course of employment (COE) was significantly higher than that arising out of employment (AOE), suggesting the need to correct the approval criteria.

        Effects of Thawing Temperature on the Physicochemical and Sensory Properties of Frozen Pre-Rigor Beef Muscle

        Pre-rigor bovine sternomandibularis muscles were frozen at 3 hr postmortem thawed at various temperatures (18, 2, and -2℃), and then meat quality and sensory properties were compared with those in chilled muscle (control). The meat thawed at 18℃ had lower ultimate pH, water holding capacity, and sensory scores and higher muscle shortening, thaw drip loss, and shear values than those of the other samples. The samples thawed at -2℃ had significantly lower muscle shortening and higher sensory scores in tenderness and juiciness than those thawed at 18 and 2℃. Muscle shortening, pH, WHC, shear values, and sensory properties were not significantly different between control and sample thawed at -2℃. By holding at -2℃, thaw shortening was prevented and tender meat comparable to the chilled meat was obtained. These results indicate that thaw shortening can be largely eliminated if the frozen pre-rigor muscle is thawed at -2℃.

        Investigation of RC parasitics considering middle-of-the-line in si-bulk FinFETs for Sub-14-nm node logic applications

        <P>In this brief, we systematically investigated the effects of fin pitch (FP) and fin height (H<SUB>fin</SUB>) on parasitic resistances and capacitances to achieve the best RC delay, which is an adequate metric of the ac behavior of FinFETs, for Si bulk n/pFinFETs in system-on-a-chip applications. The RC delays were directly extracted from the fully calibrated technology computer aided design I-V/C-V simulation results and quantitatively analyzed using parasitic capacitance components, including a middle-of-the line configuration up to Metal 1. When FP increased, the RC delay likewise increased due to greater C<SUB>gg</SUB>. On the other hand, the RC delay mostly decreased due to greater ON-current as the H<SUB>fin</SUB> increased. The RC delay with different power supply voltages (V<SUB>DD</SUB> = 0.55 and 0.75 V) was also studied to see the effect of V<SUB>DD</SUB> scaling. Finally, a selective deposition was suggested to improve the RC delay about 13%.</P>
