In the present study, flow characteristics of turbulent oscillatory flow in an oscillator connected to square-sectional $180^{\circ}$ curved duct are investigated experimentally. In order to investigate wall shear stress and pressure distributions, the experimental studies for air flows we conducted in a square-sectional $180^{\circ}$ curved duct by using the LDV system with the data acquisitions and the processing system. The wall shear stress at bend angle of the $150^{\circ}$ and pressure distribution of the inlet (${\phi}=0^{\circ}$) to the outlet (${\phi}=180^{\circ}$) by $10^{\circ}$ intervals of the duct are measured. The results obtained from the experiment are summarized as follows : wall shear stress values in the inner wall we larger than those in an outer wall, except for the phase angle (${\omega}t/{\pi}/6$) of 3, because of the intensity of secondary flow. The pressure distributions are the largest in accelerating and decelerating regions at the bend angle(${\phi}$) of $90^{\circ}$ and pressure difference of inner and outer walls is the largest before and after the ${\phi}=90^{\circ}$.
Effect of Working Pressure on Anode Characteristics of Tin Oxide Thin Films

본 실험에서는 리튬 이차 박막전지의 음극물질로 주석 산화물 박막을 RF magnetron sputter을 이용하여 증착하였다. RF power를 2.5w/$\textrm{cm}^{2}$로 고정시키고, 공정압력을 5mtorr에서 30mtorr까지 변화시키면서 막의 결정성 및 응력 변화, 굴절률 등을 측정하여 주석 산화물 박막의 음극 특성을 조사하였다. 분석한 결과, 압력이 증가함에 따라 증착 속도는 $125{\AA}$/min에서 $58{\AA}$/min까지 감소하였으며, 결정 구조는 (110)면에서 (101)면과 (211)면으로 천이됨을 보였다. 또한 막응력은 공정압력 20mtorr를 기준으로 압축응력에서 인장응력으로 바뀌었고, 굴절률도 1.93에서 1.79로 감소하였다. 공정압력변화에 따른 충방 전 시험결과 공정압력 5mtorr에서 가장 큰 가역적 용량($483.91\mu\textrm{Ah}/\textrm{cm}^{2}-\mu\textrm{m}$을 보였으나, 사이클이 진행될수록 사이클 퇴화가 점차 증가하였고, 10mtorr에서는 가역적 용량 및 사이클 특성 모두 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 공정 압력이 감소함에 따라 막의 밀도의 증가로 전기 화학적으로 반응할 수 있는 활물질의 양이 증가한 것으로 생각되며 또한, 사이클 특성은 막응력에 의해 크게 영향을 받는다고 생각된다. Tin oxide films as an anode layer for microbatteries were deposited by using rf magnetron sputtering. Characterization of the films was carried out in terms of working pressure in the range of 5~30 mtorr. Rf power and substrate temperature during deposition were fixed at 2.5W/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and A.T., respectively. The crystal orientation of $SnO_2$films was changed from (110) to (101) or (211) with the increasing working pressure. Refractive index and film density of the films also decreased with the increasing working pressure. The $SnO_2$ thin film formed under optimum conditions was found to have a reversible capacity of 446.9$\mu$Ah/$\textrm{cm}^2$-$\mu\textrm{m}$ and good reversibility when the working pressure was fixed at 10mtorr. As the working pressure decreased, film density increased. It was thought that the capacity of $SnO_2$films increased due to the increase in the amount of active materials which can react with Li electrochemically. Furthermore, cycle characteristics of the anode material was also influenced by film stress.
정상 한국 성인에서 발목관절 외측 안정성의 방사선학적 계측

Purpose: Anterior drawer and varus stress test are commonly used for radiologic evaluation of chronic lateral ankle instability. However, there are controversies regarding the method of measurement and the normal value. This study was performed to investigate radiologic normal values in normal Korean adults and to analyze differences by age and gender. Materials and Methods: Sixty Korean adults were recruited and divided in three groups (20 in their twenties, 20 in their thirties, 20 in their forties). There were 10 males and 10 females in each group. The selection criteria were no history of ankle injury and no evidence of instability on physical examination. Radiologic measurement of varus talar tilt and anterior talar translation were performed through anterior and varus stress radiographs using Telos device (150N force). The measurement was repeated twice by three researchers, and intraobserver reproducibility and interobserver reliability were analyzed. The average talar tilt and anterior talar translation were obtained. Results: Talar tilt and anterior talar translation on ankle stress radiographs had good intraobserver reproducibility and interobserver reliability. Talar tilt was average $3.7^{\circ}$ and $5.1^{\circ}$ in male and female of twenties of age, $3.9^{\circ}$ and $4.8^{\circ}$ in their thirties, $3.4^{\circ}$ and $4.5^{\circ}$ in their forties. Anterior talar translation was average 3.5 mm and 4.2 mm in their twenties, 4.1 mm and 3.8 mm in their thirties, 3.6 mm and 4.1 mm in their forties. There was no significant difference in talar tilt and anterior talar translation by age. However, there was significant difference in talar tilt by gender. Conclusion: Normal range of talar tilt angle in Korean adults was below $8.3^{\circ}$, and normal range of anterior talar translation was below 7.6 mm. It seems to be able to serve as a good reference for radiologic evaluation and for treatment of chronic lateral ankle instability.

meso-Diaminopimelic acid decarboxylase from Corynebacterium glutamicum (CgDAPDC) is the key enzyme for theproduction of L-lysine and it catalyzes meso-DAP to produce the final product, L-lysine. The CgDAPDC was overexpressedand purified to homogeneity by Ni-NTA affinity and size-exclusion chromatography. The CgDAPDC protein was crystallizedusing sitting-drop vapor-diffusion method in the presence of 0.8 M sodium citrate tribasic and 0.1 M sodium cacodylate,pH 6.5 at 293 K. X-ray diffraction data were collected to a maximum resolution of 2.4 Å. The crystal belonged to spacegroup P21212, with unit cell parameters a = 114.54 Å, b = 91.702 Å, c = 95.161, α = β = γ = 90°. With one molecules perasymmetric unit, the crystal volume per unit protein mass was 2.64 Å3 Da-1, which correspond to a solvent content ofapproximately 53.37%.
