        Surfactant-free synthesis of CuBr NPs decorated by Pt for glucose and nitrite sensors

        The high cost and narrow detection range of electrocatalyst are the two major challenges for the electrochemicalbiosensors. This work provided a surfactant-free synthesis of CuBr@Pt nanoparticles (CuBr@PtNPs) with controllable Pt loading rates. The introduction of chloroplatinic acid (H2PtCl6) and an elevatedsynthesis temperature resulted in a high surface area for CuBr@Pt NPs. The abundant active sites enabledthe CuBr@Pt NPs a superior performance as applied in glucose and nitrite detection. Moreover, an optimalPt loading would be conducive to optimize sensor performances of CuBr@Pt NPs. In the glucose detection,the sensor by CuBr@Pt-15% could reach the detection concentration up to 68.0 mM, which was 1.9 timeshigher than that by pure CuBr. And the corresponding sensitivity by CuBr@Pt-15% was calculated to be382.73 lA/mMcm2. In the detection of sodium nitrite, CuBr@Pt-15% also revealed a superior behaviorthan previous work. And the detection concentration (by the linear sweep voltammetry) was form 0 to80.0 mM. This work demonstrated the superior biosensor performance of CuBr@Pt-15%, which offereda promising material for sensor with wider detection range and rationalized cost.

        中国审美现代性肇端的社会学考察

        Being a cultural community forming in the gradual separation from the state power, the universal value pursuit of transcending classes, humanizing proposed by civil society can reach a cultural consensus beyond states and class politics, therefore it most likely to give the birth of a aesthetic consciousness of “universal communicability”. And the western academically aesthetic discourse is the product of civil society. The origin of china"s aesthetic modernity, like in the west, is synchronous with the formation of the prototype of civil society. Because the conception of individual freedom, artistic life and other similar views repeatedly discussed by Chinese aestheticians is the discourse expression of the universal value of individuality, transcending classes and across-ethnic groups, and this kind of discourse system which maintain the cultural anxieties of the civil society is just the product of civil society, although the resources and conception tools they used from the west.

      • OBE理念下“引企入教”的商务英语人才培养模式研究

        基于 OBE 理念,本文主张“引企入教”,来推动商务英语专业人才的培养工作,以解决传统人才培养模式中存在的问题,并提高人才培养工作效率。本文结合教育实践,对近年来商务英语专业人才培养模式中存在的问题进行了深层次剖析,创新教育思路,提出以 OBE 理念为指导,创建“引企入教” 商务英语人才培养模式。通过构建新教育模式,解决传统人才培养模式中人才培养目标缺乏精准定位、未能达到培养复合型人才要求、人才培养的教学理念陈旧有待改革、忽视人才培养的实践经验等问题,提高人才培养效率,助力当代商务英语专业学生的成长与发展,为学生开辟更加宽广的就业前景。 Based on the OBE concept, this paper proposes the implementation of the “Bringing Enterprises into Education” measures to enhance the training of business English professionals. It addresses issues in traditional talent development models and improves the efficiency of talent cultivation. Drawing upon educational practice, this study conducts an in-depth examination of the challenges in recent years in the business English professional talent development model and offers innovative educational approaches. It advocates using the OBE concept as guidance to create a “Bringing Enterprises into Education” model for business English talent development. By establishing a new educational model, it resolves issues present in traditional talent development models, such as a limited range of teaching methods and outdated teaching philosophies, thereby enhancing the efficiency of talent cultivation. This model contributes to the growth and development of contemporary business English students and opens up broader employment prospects for them.

        Black and Green Tea Supplements Ameliorate Male Infertility in a Murine Model of Obesity

        Obesity, a chronic metabolic disorder, can affect male reproductive function. As a functional beverage, tea has many biological activities and potential in the treatment of obesity. However, its effects on male reproductive damage induced by obesity are not yet clear. In this study, a murine model of obesity was established by feeding with high-fat diet (HF). A total of 24 male mice were divided into four groups: normal diet (control), HF, HF supplemented with 5% green tea powder (HF+G), and HF supplemented with 5% black tea powder (HF+B). The results showed that the HF + B significantly reduced the mouse body weight gain and testicular coefficient and lowered the serum insulin and leptin levels compared with the HF group. The sperm malformation rate of mice in the HF group had a significant increase when compared with the control group, the HF + B group had a significant decrease compared with the HF group, and no difference from the control group. The HF + G and HF + B significantly increased testosterone levels in serum compared with the HF group. The testosterone production-related gene cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily a member (CYP11A1) and cytochrome p450 family 17 subfamily a member 1 (CYP17A1) expressions in testis were significantly increased in the HF + G group compared with HF group. In addition, the HF + G and HF + B abolished the effects of HF on superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde, and glutathione levels in testis and antioxidant-related gene expressions of XRCC1 and SOD1. Overall, our findings have provided evidence that black and green tea has a positive effect on reducing reproductive damage in a male murine model of obesity, and that black tea is more effective than green tea.

        Cu nanoplates with ‘‘clean surface”: Synthesis and their enhanced biosensors performance

        In this study, we demonstrated a one-pot synthesis of Cu nanoplates (Cu NPs) with high purity and ‘‘cleansurface”. Different from surfactant-assisted method, we tailored the architecture by controlling the ripeningtime of Cu seeds. Citrate is introduced as a structure-directing agent. Since the ‘‘clean surface” providemore available active sites, the as-prepared Cu NPs show a superior performance when utilized in thenon-enzymatic biosensors. In the detection of nitrite, the sensor constructed by Cu NPs exhibited a superiorsensitivity (303.1 ± 10.18 mAmM1cm2), and the detection range is 5.0 mM. On the contrary, sensitivityfor the Cu NPs by surfactant-assisted method is negligible. As applied in the glucose sensors,detection range by Cu NPs could reach 36.0 mM. And the sensitivity under ambient condition (298 K)is 561.93 ± 3.72 mAmM1cm2, which is ca. 2.11-folds higher than that for Cu NPs by surfactantassistedmethod. In the detection of H2O2, detection range is 10.0 mM, and the enhancement factor fordetection range is up to 2.0-folds. The superior performance can also be extended to the catalysis forthe reduction of 4-nitro-phenol. Since no additional noble metals was applied, this strategy would openup a new avenue for utilizing non-noble metals.

        Hydrodynamic cavitation and its application in water treatment combined with ozonation: A review

        Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) such as cavitation and ozonation have been used as an alternativeand effective option for the treatment of wastewater with difficult to biodegrade compounds. In thisreview, the necessity and advantages of combining hydrodynamic cavitation with ozonation (HC/O3)were initially discussed. The discussion of the mechanism of the HC/O3 process revealed the presenceof both mechanical and chemical effects. Overviews of earlier work with HC/O3 technology were thensummarised to show the positive synergies and the HC devices in different wastewater treatments. Recommendations were given for parameter selection by analysing the impact of important operatingparameters on process performance. Energy efficiency and cost comparisons indicated that the HC/O3process was more cost effective than the individual process. Overall, the HC/O3 process with optimisedconditions is able to increase the degradation rate of refractory pollutants by more than 40% comparedto the HC process alone.

        Manufacture and Characterization on Three-Dimensional Random Resonators of Porous Silicon/TiO2 Nanowires for Continuous Light Pumping Lasing of Perovskite Quantum Dots

        In recent years, all inorganic bismuth lead-halide perovskite nanocrystals [CsPbX3 (X=Cl, Br, I)] have received extensive attention due to their high performance in fluorescence quantum yield, narrow emission spectrum, and adjustable emission range. However, the disadvantages of high cost and poor stability have greatly limited the development prospects of the material. Here, in order to develop a perovskite quantum dot lasing cavity with high chemical stability, high quality factor and low fabrication cost, we have successfully fabricated a 3D random cavity device based on porous silicon/TiO2 nanowires. A TiO2 nanowire is grown on the porous silicon to form a 3D resonant cavity, and a perovskite quantum dot is spin-coated on the surface of the 3D resonant cavity to form a novel 3D complex film. The novel structure enhances the chemical stability and lasing quality factor of the resonant cavity while the fluorescence generated by the large quantum dots in the spatial interference structure constitutes the feedback loop, which will provide favorable support for the development of information optics.
