Robust Adaptive Sliding Mode Neural Networks Control for Industrial Robot Manipulators
Vu Thi Yen,Wang Yao Nan,Pham Van Cuong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.3
This paper proposes an original robust adaptive controller by using Radial Basis Function Neural networks(RBFNNs) for industrial robot manipulators (IRMs) in uncertain dynamical environments. This suggestedcontrol structure combines sliding mode technique, RBFNNs approximation and adaptive technique to improve thehigh accuracy of the tracking control. The proposed RBFNNs can deal the small problems successful because ofits simple structure, faster training update laws and better approximation for the unknown dynamic of IRMs. Allthe parameters of the proposed control system are determined by Lyapunov stability theorem, and tuned online byan adaptive learning algorithm. Therefore, the stability, robustness and desired tracking performance of RBFNNsfor IRMs are guaranteed. The simulations and experimental performed on a three-link IRMs are proposed in comparisonwith proportional integral differential (PID) and adaptive Fuzzy (AF) control to prove the robustness andefficiency of the RBFNNs.

In this paper, a robust adaptive control method based on Dynamic Structure Fuzzy Wavelet Neural Networks(FWNNs) system is presented for trajectory tracking control of industrial robot manipulators (IRM) withuncertainties and disturbances via adaptive sliding mode control (SMC). Four layer FWNNs in the Dynamic structureFWNNs is constructed on the basis of fuzzy rules which associates with wavelet function in the consequentpart, to compensate for structured and unstructured uncertainties and model complex processes. However, it isdifficult to design a suitable control scheme to achieve the required approximation errors, such as friction forces, external disturbances error and parameter variations. To deal with the mentioned problems, all the parameters of theDynamic structure FWNNs system are tuned on-line by an adaptive learning algorithm, and adaptive robust controllaws are determined by Lyapunov stability theorem. By using Dynamic structure FWNNs, this control systemcould achieve desired tracking performance, the stability and robustness of the closed-loop manipulators system areguaranteed. In addition, the simulations and experimental performed on a three-link IRM are provided in comparisonwith wavelet network control (WNC) and adaptive Fuzzy control (AFC) to demonstrate the effectiveness androbustness of the proposed Dynamic structure FWNNs methodology.

Different kinds of materials for electrodes based on glassy carbon, carbon fibers, and modified by an ionic liquid (BMIMBF4) were used to determine 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) in water environment by differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry. The modified electrode based on BMIMBF4 showed a better performance than those based on the microelectrode and glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in term of sensitivity. The best performance was obtained with the ionic liquid-modified electrode with 80:10:10 (w/w/w) of the graphite powder/paraffin oil/BMIMBF4 composition in PBS, pH 8. The TNT concentration was linear in the range 1.5 to ~30 ppm for all studied electrodes (r = 0.9978) with a detection limit of 88.6 ppb using IL-CPE (ionic liquid-modified carbon paste electrode). This latter electrode was used to measure real samples taken from Red River, Vietnam. The recovery study for TNT in natural samples gave values from 99.7% to 103.3%. IL-CPE demonstrated long-term stability and reproducibility, with a relative standard deviation of 1.67%.
Evaluating Performance of Vietnamese Public Hospitals Based on Balanced Scorecard
PHAM, Cuong Duc,VU, Sen Thi,PHAM, Yen Thi Kim,VU, Nam Thi Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.6
The study evaluates the performance of public hospitals in Vietnam by applying the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The authors first review the literature to find the research gap of performance in public hospitals. Then, we built Likert questionnaires to collect data from more than 200 managers of public hospitals in the Northwestern provinces of Vietnam. The research uses correlation regression to evaluate the performance based on the influence of factors in the BSC model, including Strategic planning, Internal process, Finance, Mission, Customer, and Employee learning and growth. The results show that the performance of public hospitals in the research sample is influenced by the factors in the BSC model in descending order based on the regression coefficient as follows: Internal process, Finance, Mission, Strategic planning, Customer, Employee learning and growth. Based on the quantitative research findings, we continue by conducting some deep interviews with specialty to propose intensive recommendations about how to implement Mission, Internal process, Financial policies, etc. to managers in public hospitals with an aim to improve the performance of public hospitals in the Northwestern mountainous region of Vietnam. The lessons could be applied for other public hospitals in Vietnam and other jurisdictions that have similar conditions.

The goal of the study is to examine and assess how the factors of logistics service quality provided by logistics service providers influence customer loyalty and satisfaction in Vietnam. This study employs samples of the Kansei technique. The article’s data was gathered through an online survey of 388 distinct Vietnamese customers who used logistics services before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. After the data was obtained, it was evaluated using SmartPLS 3.0’s Cronbach’s Alpha test and structural equation model (SEM). Staff service quality, operational service quality, and technical service quality are the three factors that determine the quality of logistics services in the study. Out of the 10 proposed hypotheses, research findings show that five are acceptable. The Covid-19 Pandemic in Vietnam had a significant impact on all dimensions, but it had no effect on how satisfied customers were with the logistics service providers. Nevertheless, loyalty is considerably influenced by only one factor, which is customer satisfaction, and customer trust moderates the relationship between these two factors. As a consequence of that, several managerial implications have been proposed to help logistics service providers improve their services to attract and keep Vietnamese customers using their service in the long term.
Development of simple HPLC-UV method for discrimination of Adenophorae Radix
Vu, Thi Phuong Duyen,Kim, Kyung Tae,Pham, Yen,Bao, Haiying,Kang, Jong Seong The Korean Society of Analytical Science 2017 분석과학 Vol.30 No.2
Adenophorae Radix (AR) is a frequently used medicinal herb; because of its popularity, products containing similar herbal products are often sold as substitutes, especially if their morphology is similar. However, any analytical method to identify AR based on quantitative analysis is not registered in Korea, Japan and China Pharmacopoeias. This study developed a simple HPLC method to discriminate between authentic AR and substitutes. Linoleic acid was used as a marker compound of AR. Our optimized HPLC-UV conditions included a mobile phase of 90 % acetonitrile under isocratic condition, and a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min at room temperature. Detection wavelength was set at 205 nm. Linoleic acid was detected at 13.5 minutes for a total analysis time of 20 minutes. The standard herb of AR contained 0.025 % of linoleic acid, while four authentic AR samples and eight substitutes contained 0.040~0.071 % and 0.004~0.014 %, respectively. Comparison of the linoleic acid concentrations of the sample types to reference AR showed that among 12 samples, only the four samples were authentic. Thus, our HPLC-UV method, along with our suggested content criterion for linoleic acid concentration, can be used for the quick and accurate determination whether the herbal products are authentic AR or substitute.

The objectives of this study are (1) to review previous studies in the context of brand management in consumer behaviors using costumer based brand equity (CBBE) and theory of planned behavior (TPB) as the basic foundation of the study; and (2) to develop a comprehensive research model by integrating relevant research constructs using meta-analysis. This study reviewed a total 173 studies from 58 published papers with 40 journals during 1991~2014 and developed a comprehensive framework with 16 research hypotheses. The results showed that (1) brand image, brand personality, brand association, and subjective norm are the important antecedents of brand attitudes; (2) brand awareness, brand trust, perceived quality, and perceived behavioral control are the important antecedents of brand loyalty; (3) brand attitude positively influences brand loyalty, which further influences brand equity; and (4) brand equity positively influences behavioral intention. This study fills in the research gap by integrating more research variables into CBBE model, particularly to include the influence of social context on consumer behavior through TPB. These results indicated that the integration between CBBE and TPB is meaningful and the comprehensive model can explain more variances than that of the individual model. Limitations, and recommendations for future research in this area are provided.

Drynaria bonii H. Christ is a medicinal plant that has traditionally been used for the treatment of chronic diseases and tuberculosis. However, D. bonii has not yet been cultivated or propagated. In this study, we optimized the conditions for the spore culture of D. bonii to produce sporophytes. First, we evaluated the efects of various factors, such as temperature, light intensity, potting material, and pH, on spore germination and early gametophyte development. Under optimal culture conditions, 95–99% of the spores germinated within 2 weeks of culture. Next, based on these results, we established a culture system for gametophyte development and sporophyte production. Mature gametophytes frst appeared 5 months post-germination (mpg), and at 12 mpg, the rate of production of heart-shaped gametophytes reached 56.6%. Sporophytes at the early frst-leaf stage frst appeared at 6 mpg, and at 12 mpg, the rate of formation of sporophytes reached 15.4%. Interestingly, 6.3% of all gametophytes produced multiple sporophytes. Additionally, 42–62% of the gametophytes also produced multiple secondary gametophytes, indicating a high potential of D. bonii gametophytes to generate new gametophytes and, subsequently, sporophytes. When transferred to new trays or pots, sporophytes grew well and showed 100% survival. Overall, we conclude that this spore culture system can be successfully used for the propagation of D. bonii sporophytes.
