Jewellery & gems industry has been developed with the beginning of ancient human history as all the mankind have a fancy for precious metals and stones regardless of the times and nationality. Historically, Korean also had an excellent workmanship from the ancient era and shipped it, as a tribute, to the neighboring countries. However, our deposits of gold and silver had been almost dried up, especially owing to a lot of excavation during Japanese imperialist rule, And precious stones have not been discovered in Korea except a small quantity of crystal. Therefore, Korea cannot but depend on the processing industry of jewellery and germs by importing the unworked gold, diamond and other precious stones from overseas countries. By the way, recent overseas market of jewellery & germs is very extensive and the value added of the industry is much larger than other industries. So jewellery & gems processing industry is regarded as the most important field in the advanced countries. All the more, the industry is typical of labor-intensive one and is more suitable to the nations whose people are deft-handed. From those points, it is quite appropriate to Korea. Recognizing this facts, Korean government had set up a Jewellery & Gems Export Industry Park in Iri city ten years ago. The bonded industry park has much contributed to export promotion and regional economic development. But there are a lot of room for improvement if we would obtain the anticipated results. So we researchers have studied and analyzed the following points to find some ways for improving the Iri Jewellery & Gems Export Industry Park. ① the history of precious metals & gems industry in both overseas countries and Korea. ② international production status of unworked precious metals & stones, and structure of international trade. ③ business status of exporting companies in Iri Jewellery & Gems Export Industry park; general circumstances, exprot & import structure, employment policy, production & skill, purchasing materials (the unworked stones ) and marketing etc.
燃料節約을 위한 舶用中速機關의 最適運轉條件에 關하여 : 實習船 釜山 403號를 中心으로 With training ship "Busan 403"

釜山水産大學 實習船 釜山 403號의 主機關인 中速디젤機關을 利用하여 機關 冷却水溫度와 給氣溫度를 변화시키며 機關性能 및 燃燒性을 考察한 結果 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다. 1. ??를 높임에 따라 ??가 上昇하며 ?? 10℃ 上昇時 ??는 約 7.6℃ 上昇하였으며, ??를 60℃로 하여 運轉하는 경우에도 공기과잉율의 低下에 의하여 燃燒性이 不良해지는 현상은 일어나지 않았다. 2. ?? 增加時 O₂濃度 감소, CO₂濃度 增加의 현상이 나타났으며 ?? 40℃일 때 ?? 25℃ 上昇時 공기과잉율은 約 0.41程度 低下하였으나 이러한 현상은 ??가 增加할수록 둔화되었다. 3. ??가 上昇함에 따라 同一한 공기과잉율에서 이산화탄소 생성량이 增加하였으며 이는 同一한 條件에서 冷却水溫度의 上昇에 따라 燃燒性이 向上됨을 알 수 있다. 4. 馬力當 燃料消費率이 가장 적은 것은 負荷 100% BHP의 경우이며 이때 正味燃料消費率은 173.76gr/BHPㆍh이다. This investigation tries to find the better operating condition that the fuel oil is saved for the medium speed diesel engine installed on training ship "Busan" 403˝. This study observes the performance and combustibility of the engine under the condition for various temperature of cooling water and scavenging air. The combustibility increases with the increase of the cooling water temperature. Though the temperature of scavenging air rises to 60℃, the combustion of the engine is good in condition.
개 시상하부의 Neuropeptides에 대한 면역조직화학적 연구

The distribution and localization of somatostatin(SOM), neuropeptide Y(NPY), vasopressin(VP), and oxytocin(OT) were studied with a immunohistochemical technique in the canine hypothalamus. The SOM-immunoreactive perikarya were concentrated in the anterior periventricular and the arcuate nuclei. Immunoreactive terminals were observed in the arcuate, the ventromedial hypothalamic, the suprachismatic nuclei and the external layer of the median emmence. A great number of NPY-immunoreactive cell bodies were found in the arcuate nucleus and NPY fibers were located throughout the hypothalamus with the highest concentration especially in the paraventricular (PVN) and the acuate nuclei. Moderately or densely stained fibers were also observed in the median eminence, the suprachiasmatic. the periventricular, the ventromedial hypothalamic, the dorsomedial hypothalamic and the medial preoptic nuclei, and the stria terminalis. Both VP-and OT-containing perikarya were found mainly in the PVN and supraoptic nucleus(SON). but a few were seen in the perifornical area, the lateral hypothalamus, the dorsal hypothalamic and the periventricular nucleus. The fibers originated from the PVN were projected to the SON via ventral or dorsal area of the fornix.
Alkali 處理한 Starch를 乳化劑로한 石油의 乳化

Starch를 alkali 處理하면 viscosity가 增加되고 드디어는 透明한 고무狀 物質이 된다. 이 物質을 乳化劑 乳化安定劑로 하여 石油를 乳化시켰다. 이때 使用한 alkali의 種類, 濃度, pH 및 添加劑로서 加한 Fat의 量, 石油와 乳化劑와의 混合比 등을 決定하였다. The treatment of Starch with alkali arises the increase of viscosity and results to become clear gum-like substance. In this study, when petroleum is emulsified by this gum-like substance as emulsifier, the effect on kind and concentration of alkali used, quantity of fat oil as additive, pH, and the mixing ratio between petroleum and emulsifier are studied.

The authors recognized that every Ions were adsorped and gas Created in the As3+, Sb3+,Sn4+of+Ion 2group, and Fe3+ was reduced as soon as adsorption by the experiment of packing iron powder alternating Current magnetic Column of 100volt, 60c.p.s, and also the authors recognized that as the reaction velocity increased, the absorption power decreased and the reduction power increased when the authors switchedthe flow velocity of Ions.

Objective: The aim of this retrospective study was to analyze and to compare the treatment outcomes of various concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) regimens for uterine cervical cancer during the past 10 years in the Republic of Korea. Methods: Between January 1997 and December 2006 the medical records of 1,827 stage Ib-IVa cervical cancer patients from 23 institutions in Korea were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Of these 1,826 patients, 1,577 had complete medical records and were enrolled in the study. Patients were divided into two groups: group 1 received primary CCRT without surgery; and group 2 received adjuvant CCRT after radical hysterectomy. The survival differences between the different CCRT regimens (weekly cisplatin, monthly 5-FU+cisplatin, and monthly paclitaxel+cisplatin) were also analyzed. Results: The median age was 54 years (range, 16-99 years). There were 1,020 patients in group 1 and 557 patients in group 2. The majority of patients in group 1 had regionally advanced stage disease (IIb-IVa), while the majority of patients in group 2 had early stage disease (Ib-IIa). In group 1, the disease-free survival (DFS) was longer in those patients who received platinum-based chemotherapy (weekly cisplatin and cisplatin+5-FU) compared to those who received paclitaxel, but there was no statistical difference in the overall survival (OS). In contrast, survival of group 2 patients was improved by the paclitaxel regimen, but without a significant difference. Significantly increased toxicities were observed in patients treated with monthly cisplatin/5-FU and paclitaxel, but the toxicities were easily managed. Conclusion: CCRT is an effective mode of therapy for cervical cancer in Korea. Further study confirming the efficacy of various CCRT regimens is necessary.
