Objective During the lockdown of cities and home quarantine, media became the only way for people to conveniently get coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19)-related information. And media engagement was closely related to psychological outcomes. But fewer researchers took COVID-19-related posting behaviors into consideration. Therefore, the present study aimed at examining the differences in psychological outcomes between people who posted COVID-19-related content on social media and those who did not. Methods The present study included 917 participants (304 males, 613 females) who had answered the questionnaires of media engagement, positive affect, negative affect, depression, anxiety, stress, satisfaction with life, death anxiety, and meaning in life. Results Results of t-tests showed that the Post group had lower levels of negative affect, anxiety, stress, and death anxiety than the Not Post (Npost) group. Network comparison tests indicated that the Npost group’s network and the Post group’s network differed in global strength, two edge-weights, and node centrality indices. Conclusion The results indicated that more attention should be paid to people who did not post any COVID-19-related content, especially when they have higher levels of stress and depression to prevent comorbidities. And for people who posted content, more attention should be paid when they have a higher level of negative affect.

Background: Postpartum subinvolution of the uterus is a more common condition after cesarean section. Auricular acupressure (AA) is widely used for the treatment of postpartum diseases. However, few studies have explored the effects of AA as a treatment of uterine involution following cesarean section to date. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of AA for uterine involution after cesarean section. Methods: A total of 109 women who underwent cesarean section participated in this study. They were randomly allocated to either real AA or sham AA in a 1:1 ratio by a computer program. For 3 days, the real AA and sham AA groups received treatment 3 times daily. A series of assessments at 42 days after cesarean section, namely on the uterine size, the incidence of hydrometra, the first anal exsufflation time, bleeding volume at 6 hours, bleeding volume at 6–24 hours along with other general assessments were carried out. Results: A total of 89 women completed the study. The uterine size at 42 days after a cesarean section was 6.3 cm smaller in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.01). The incidence of hydrometra on day 42 postpartum was lower in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.01). The lochia duration and the first anal exsufflation time after cesarean section were shorter in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: AA improves uterine involution after cesarean section. Trial registration: ChiCTR1800015569.

Forty tracheas were harvested from donor NewZealand rabbits. Thirty of the tracheas were randomlydivided into four treatment groups corresponding to 4, 5, 6,or 7% NaClO4 and one untreated group (n = 6 each group). Scanning electron microscopy distinctly revealed thecilium of epithelial cells in the fresh trachea. The internalsurface of the trachea was rough in the 4% treatment groupand smooth in the 5% treatment group, whereas the matrixwas fractured in the 6% treatment group and highlyfractured in the 7% treatment group. We observed that thenumber of nuclei in the cells of the 4, 5, 6, and 7%treatment groups decreased compared to the cells of theuntreated group (p < 0.05). Although there was a significantdecrease in maximum tensile strength, tensile strain atfracture and the elastic modulus (p < 0.05) with increasingconcentrations of NaClO4, the content of glycosaminoglycans(GAGs) did not significantly decline (p > 0.05) in the 5%treatment group. In addition, histopathological analysisshowed that the fiber component and basement membraneof the matrix in the 5% treatment group were retained afteroptimal decellularization. Despite the preserved cartilage,in vitro immunohistochemical analysis revealed that thematrix did not show the presence of major histocompatibilitycomplex (MHC) antigens. The remaining ten donor tracheas, which were divided into a positive control group and anoptimal decellularized group, were used for allogeneictransplantation. Blood samples were taken regularly, andhistologic examinations were performed at 30 days postimplantation, which showed no significant immune rejection. In conclusion, we surveyed the structural integrity throughmorphological observation and compared the biomechanicaland immunogenic changes in the tracheal matrix under thedifferent treatments. The optimal decellularized trachealmatrix with preserved cartilage, which was acquired via 5%NaClO4 treatment, exhibited structural integrity, antigen cellremoval and immune privilege and would be suitable for useas a tissue-engineered trachea for in vivo transplantation inrabbit models.

A nano-power CMOS voltage reference is proposed in this paper. Through a combination of switched-capacitor technology with the body effect in MOSFETs, the output voltage is defined as the difference between two gate-source voltages using only a single PMOS transistor operated in the subthreshold region, which has low sensitivity to the temperature and supply voltage. A low output, which breaks the threshold restriction, is produced without any subdivision of the components, and flexible trimming capability can be achieved with a composite transistor, such that the chip area is saved. The chip is implemented in $0.18{\mu}m$ standard CMOS technology. Measurements show that the output voltage is approximately 123.3 mV, the temperature coefficient is $17.6ppm/^{\circ}C$, and the line sensitivity is 0.15 %/V. When the supply voltage is 1 V, the supply current is less than 90 nA at room temperature. The area occupation is approximately $0.03mm^2$.

<P>This work mainly introduces the recyclability of polypropylene (PP) modified by regenerated polyurethane (PU) that was obtained after partial thermochemical decomposition of waste PU. The influence of regenerated PU on the mechanical properties and thermal stability of PP during multiple processing cycles was evaluated by a universal testing machine, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analyses. The data showed that the mechanical properties of the modified PP were dependent on the content of regenerated PU with the increase in the number of processing cycles, whereas the thermal stability of the modified PP was almost independent of the content of regenerated PU. In this paper we report on a case study involving four Chinese students; the aim of the study was to develop a conceptual framework for investigating student participation in a collaborative task in mathematics. Building on previous research on student participation, we defined student participation in a collaborative task in mathematics as the process of taking part in student interactions and task completions. A video recording and transcript of students involved with collaborative task in mathematics were analyzed. Four categories (initiation, response, evaluation, and non-interactive) were created for analyzing the students’ interactions. The four students showed different approaches to communicating with other group members. The content of the group’s discussion was examined in terms of the negotiation process. By looking at the content of the group’s discussion, the process how the group work on the task could be revealed. We identified that students showed involvement in the group discussion by proposing and revisiting topics. It was found that through forming an interactive pair, students might be able to take up the leading role in working on the task and controlling the conversation of the group.

Background and Aim: No firm evidence of HPV infection in esophageal cancer has been established to date. The aim of this meta-analysis was to investigate the prevalence of HPV 16 in esophageal cancer in China, which had a high burden of the disease. Materials and Methods: Studies on HPV infection and esophageal cancer were identified and a random-effects model was used to pool the summary prevalence and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results: A total of 3,429 esophageal cancer cases were evaluated from 26 eligible studies in this meta-analysis. The summary estimate for HPV16 prevalence was 0.381 (95% CI: 0.283, 0.479). The prevalence varied by geographical areas of the study, publication year, HPV detection method and types of specimen. In sensitivity analysis, HPV 16 prevalence ranged from 0.368 (95% CI: 0.276, 0.460) to 0.397 (95% CI: 0.286, 0.508). Conclusions: The results indicate a relatively high level of HPV 16 prevalence in esophageal cancer among Chinese population, although there was variation between different variables. Further studies are needed to elucidate the role of HPV in esophageal carcinogenesis with careful consideration of study design and laboratory detection method, providing more accurate assessment of the HPV status in esophageal cancer.
