Together, the cheek and neck can be considered as a single anatomic location because skin vascularity, texture and thickness are similar. The cervicofacial flap has been described as the treatment of choice for the cheek defect because of its good mobility and excellent cosmetic result. However, if the defects on the cheek are wider than the length of palpebral fissure or extended to the lower two thirds of the cheek, the conventional cervicofacial flaps would be inadequate in size without the benefit of expansion. Tissue expansion of the cheek and neck is distinguished by a particularly high rate of complication. Prevention of various complications require careful planning and certain modifications in technique. We have used the following modifications and measures to prevent the complications and to maximize the expansion. 1) Whenever possible, expanders were placed over the rigid foundation such as mandible or posterior neck area after wide undermining. 2) Expanders were placed deep to platysma in the neck area. 3)Following optimal expansion, the further dissection extending to the clavicle and the posterior neck area was performed for optimal mobilization and draping of the expanded skin. 4) The expanded skin was advanced upward on the cervical portion and rotated forward on the cheek portion. 5) The flap should not be draped above the inferior orbital rim and postoperatively the pressure garments were applied to prevent drooping of the expanded skin. We experienced 21 cases of the expanded cervicofacial flaps with above surgical modifications and the expanded cervicofacial flaps can resurface the 95% of cheek defects with munimal complications and excellent cosmetic results.

(O_R_V) which vaporizes the LNG to NG is consisted of the tube and the header whose substrate is aluminum alloy. The corrosion of the tube is very severe because of the sea water being used as the heating source. In this study to protect the (O_R_V) substrate material, the corrosion behaviors of several aluminum alloys have been investigated. Al1080, Al3003, Al5083, coextruded and thermally sprayed Al-Zn (<2wt%) and Al-Zn (<2wt%) aluminum alloys were prepared for the electrochemical and immersion tests, and the surface analysis. As the result of the investigations, the corrosion potential of Al-Zn (<2wt%) alloy is lower than that of Al3003 alloy regardless of the content of oxygen dissolved in the sea water. The same trend was also observed with time. The surface roughness and the adhesion of coextruded coating layer of Al-Zn (<2wt%) is superior to those of the thermally sprayed coating layer. From the results of the immersion test to observe the corrosion behavior of Al-Zn (<2wt%) aluminum alloy, the corrosion products has the double layer that is considered as the oxide or the hydroxides layer.

In this paper, we study about moxa combustion characteristics and implemented electric moxa cure system which have same effect as a real moxa cure system which have same effect as a real moxa. For this purpose,we analyzed moxa combustion characteristics and then,devised the electrical moxa cure system by using the obtained results. The electrical moxa cure system consist of a thermal stimulating part (heater, themal sensor). and amplifier, A/D converter, PWM power controller, and a computer system. As a result of the experiments. it shows very simular stimulation patterns that a real moxa.

Fourty-seven patients with non-aneurysmal spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage were reviewed retrospectively. Attention was directed to the distribution and amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage on computerized tomography scans. Though the hemorrage could be distributed in all cisterns, the frequency and amount of hemorrhage were higher in infratentorial cisterns than in supratentorial cisterns. Among infratentorial cisterns, the hemorrhage was distributed to cisterns around the brainstem mainly and it had a predilection for interpeduncular cistern. Also the telangiectasia of thalamoperforating artery might be one of the causes of non-aneurysmal spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage.

소형환편기의 자동화기술을 위해 편환을 이동시킬 수 있는 편침과 cam을 편환이송용 장치를 고안하였다. 위편기의 편환이송 mechanism을 해석하고 소형환편기의 물리적 모사를 통해 편침과 cam의 형상을 최적화하였다. 편환이송장치를 사용하여 편물에 다양한 조직을 편성할 수 있는 편기의 개발이 가능하도록 하였다. The latch needle and cam are newly designed and manufactured to transfer the loop for automation of small circular knitting machine. The loop transfer mechanism is analized by the simulation of needle motion on the V-bed flat knitting machine to which optimum designed cam is attached. This loop transfer mechanism can be applied to small circular knitting machine for automation and variable knitted structure.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>KAERI is presently developing a rectangular RF driven deuterium ion source for both neutron source and fusion applications. For a model-based design of a reliable impedance matching network for the ion source, we extend an equivalent circuit model of the ion source system by allowing effects of an isolation transformer and a Faraday shield on the system to be reflected in our previous model (Huh et al., 2017 <I>Fusion Eng. Des.</I> <B>121</B> 337). In this paper we use the model to investigate the trends in external electrical characteristics of the ion source system (e.g., voltage and current across and through an RF antenna coil and the impedance matching network circuit components) with RF power of up to 50 kW. The model results provide criteria for the impedance matching network design and data for an assessment of the ion source performance.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> An equivalent circuit model of a rectangular radio frequency driven hydrogen ion source is developed. </LI> <LI> This model predicts electrical characteristics of the ion source equipped with an isolation transformer and a Faraday shield. </LI> <LI> The model is used to design of an impedance matching network for the KAERI rectangular radio frequency driven ion source. </LI> </UL> </P>
