Accurate 3-D body shape information is very important in the industrial and research fields such as clothing/garment design. Unfortunately, most available anthropometric data are composed of linear dimensions (lengths, heights, circumferences) which are Inadequate to represent the detailed body shape. This paper deals with the 3-D human body shape acquisition, representation at various view points and non-contact measurement of human body dimensions. For the 3-D shape date acquisition, a computer vision technique is used for laser sensing and image processing. This technique gives non-contact and automated measurements. We desire that this automated system should be put to practical use at the fitting room or garment sales market

The Hertzian contact theory is applied to the modeling of contact displacement of fingepad. This new numerical deformation model correlating the normal force and area of contact of the fingerpad by considering the fingerpad as elastic material can be used to predict the deformation of the fingerpad by the fabric. The relationship observed experimentally between the fingerpad displacements and the normal forces agrees with the numerical deformation model. The results show that the contact displacement is proportional to the normal force raised to the power of 2/3. Also the contact displacement equation between the fingerpad and fabric is represented using the rigid body motion and fingerpad deformation.

The products designed by human sensibility and ergonomics are given good impression Especially the touch feeling on the human skin is very useful sensibility for Quality of products. Elasticity and viscosity of human skin is very important element in product design based on ergonomics. In this paper, we describe a sophisticated method for measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity characteristics of human skin. For this measurement, we developed a measurement system assembled with load cell, actuator, amplifier and data acqusition system. The MATLAB is used to analyze the data and fit a approximation curves.
홀로그래피 간섭법을 이용한 터빈 블레이드의 미소변형 측정
