The incidence of double primary cancer is about 10% in all kinds of cancers. Double primary cancer is usually accompanied by gastrointestinal cancer. Esophageal cancer is supposed to be frequently accompanied by squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck or the upper respiratory tract, because of such common carcinogens as smoking and alcohol ingestion. Esophageal cancer and hypopharyngeal cancer are usually diagnosed by esophagogastric endoscopy with biopsy. We performed endoscopic ultrasound-guided Trucut biopsy(EUS-TCB) to diagnose a mediastinal mass in a 49 year-old patient, who visited our hospital because of voice change. During procedure, we accidently found enlarged celiac lymph node, and obtained tissue from the mediastinal lymph node and the celiac lymph node. We confirmed double primary cancer of squamous cell carcinoma in the esophagus and the hypopharynx via esophagogastric endoscopy.

Background/Aims: Mini-probe endoscopic ultrasonography (mEUS) is a useful diagnostic tool for accurate assessment of tumor invasion. The aim of this study was to estimate the accuracy of mEUS in patients with early colorectal cancer (ECC). Methods: Ninety lesions of ECC underwent mEUS for pre-treatment staging. We divided the lesions into either the mucosal group or the submucosal group according to the mEUS findings. The histological results of the specimens were compared with the mEUS findings. Results: The overall accuracy for assessing the depth of tumor invasion (T stage) was 84.4% (76/90). The accuracy of mEUS was significantly lower for submucosal lesions compared to mucosal lesions (p=0.003) and it was lower for large tumors (≥2 cm) (p=0.034). The odds ratios of large tumors and submucosal tumors affecting the accuracy of T staging were 3.46 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.05 to 11.39) and 6.25 (95% CI, 1.85 to 25.14), respectively. When submucosal tumors were combined with large size, the odds ratio was 14.67 (95% CI, 1.46 to 146.96). Conclusions: The overall accuracy of T stage determination with mEUS was considerably high in patients with ECC; however, the accuracy decreased when tumor size was >2 cm or the tumor had invaded the submucosal layer. Research and Validation of Pipe Acoustic Transmission Mechanism

During oil production an acoustic communication mode with downhole oil pipe as channel is one of feasible downhole control method. Based on a mechanism analysis, this paper presents a pipe acoustic transmission mechanism model. The model is derived to obtain a pipe dispersive equation. The simulation of phase velocity, group velocity and dispersion curves of three common oil pipes indicates that spectral distribution of longitudinal wave transmission in pipe presents a comb filter structure, and the passband/stopband distribution approximates periodicity and symmetry on spectrogram. The passband range, stopband range and amplitude value changes with length, cross area, density of oil pipe and joint. And the influence rule is given. Then the optimal frequency is suggested through simulation for downhole wireless communication tools design.
A Constraint-Based Approach to Fission Reduplication in Two Chinese Dialects

This study focuses on the emergence of the unmarked TETU concerning syllabic structure and segmental features in the base of two Chinese dialects like Shunping and Pingyao. Partial reduplication generally exhibits intriguing TETUs in the reduplicant. In Shunping, the onglide and a vowel simplify into a simple vowel while a coda consonant deletes in the base. This shows structural TETU in the base: no diphthong and a closed syllable. The reduplicant in Shunping implies the prevocalic glide belongs to the rime. The segmental content of the rime in the reduplicant comes from the input. This shows a direct correspondent relation between the input and the reduplicant. In Pingyao, the rime excluding a prevocalic glide in the base is replaced by a fixed [-ʌʔ]. The rime including the prevocalic glide in the input is copied; the copied part appears after the fixed onset in the reduplicant. The base segments display two TETUs. One is related to the consonantal place features of the coda, and the other is with a reduced fixed vowel. However, the prevocalic glide seems to affiliate neither with the onset nor the rime. The Pingyao dialects also demonstrate direct correspondence relations between the input and the reduplicant. To account for the variant implementations of TETU, we adopt the full reduplication model proposed by McCarthy and Prince (1995), and put forth the constraint ranking schema for the TETU in two Chinese dialects.

The present study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of HPV infection in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) in Hunan province. DNA samples were collected from paraffin embedded ovarian tissue from 322 patients with EOC, 99 with ovarian benign tumors and 199 normal persons. The polymerase chain reaction and direct sequencing were used to identify the HPV types in the samples. The relationship between the infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) and the epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) was investigated combined with clinical data. The prevalence of HPV18 and HPV33 in EOC group and benign group was higher than in the normal group. HPV18 and HPV33 may play a role in the development of both EOC and ovarian benign tumor and may participate in the development of EOC with traditional risk factors, family history and abortion, possibly exerting synergistic effects.

Integrated separate layer water injection technology is an effective approach to reduce the workload of injection oilfield. The primary equipment which consists of flowmeter, motor and control value is placed underground for a long time. Injection rate allocation fault diagnosis is a problem with character of multiformity. The fault symptoms and reasons are random, and it is hard to differentiate them. Weighted fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm combining symptoms signals and fuzzy mathematics approach is used on the technology. The algorithm is based on fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm, and increase weight to each fault sample to reduce the impact of samples on fault classifications. Simulation and analysis illustrates that the algorithm is able to reflect the real structure of the sample data. And it improves the accuracy of fault classification.
Fuzzy Task Assignment Model of Web Services Supplier in Collaborative Development Environment

In view of collaborative development environment web services supplier in ability, cost, time supplier relations and component relevance information under uncertainty problems. The fuzzy multi-objective task assignment model of web services are built in a collaborative development environment. Using α cut sets and extension principle to simplify the fuzzy multi-objective assignment mode, we get the solution of simplified assignment model via the Genetic and simulated-annealing algorithm. In view of the model solution sets are fuzzy and uncertain membership function, a new centroid defuzzification method is used for the model solution. Thus the optimization allocation of component supplier’s fuzzy task is realized in collaborative development environment. Finally, the simulation results verify the feasibility of the proposed method, which can ensure the suppliers’ tasking in successive software project in collaborative development environment.

This study investigates spalling appearance and residual compressive strength after examination of fundamental properties on the concrete and fire test to prevent spalling of the concrete. Test results showed that fluidity, air content, and compressive strength are excellent in the case that polyethylene Polyvinyl Acetate and polyvinyl alcohol fiber was mixed. After fire test, it is analyzed that using polyvinyl alcohol fiber is effective considering spalling property.
