        A case of omental mass during Pregnancy Omental cyst is a rare lesion and occur primarily during childhood and young adulthood. When encountered, most of them are benign and intraabdominal masses. It shows a large mass but not palpable and often asymptomatic. The precise diagnosis is made by most commonly at surgery or during pathologic examination. So, we report this case with brief review of literatures.

        정신분열병의 비이환 형제 자매 집단에서 얼굴 정보처리 관련 뇌회로의 이상 : 기능적 뇌자기공명영상 예비 연구

        Objectives A neural circuit including amygdala, the hippocampal complex and prefrontal cortex was associated with deficits in facial processing in schizophrenia. These deficits have a significant impact on social functioning in schizophrenia. Both neuropsychological deficits and brain structural abnormalities in first-degree relatives of schizophrenia patients suggest that they may also have the deficit in facial information processing as genetic factors. The purpose of this study was to explore the dysfunction of facial information processing in first-degree relatives of schizophrenia patients using functional magnetic neuroimaging (fMRI). Methods Ten non-affected siblings of schizophrenic patients and 10 normal comparison subjects having no schizophrenic siblings underwent fMRI during the dynamic facial change procedure consisting of presentations of facial emotion and gender discrimination stimuli. The emotion discrimination condition consisted of the presentation of 12 happy faces and 12 disgust/fear faces. The gender discrimnation condition consisted of the presentation of 12 male faces and 12 female faces. Condition-specific brain activations were compared between non-affected siblings and normal comparison subjects Results The facial information processing related brain regions including fusiform gyrus, several areas of frontal, temporal, occipital, and cerebellar regions exhibited more activation during gender discrimination than emotion discrimination tasks in each group. During gender discrimination task, siblings of schizophrenic patients showed less activation in right fusiform gyrus, both middle and superior frontal gyrus, left cuneus, and left inferior frontal gyrus, compared with normal comparison subjects. Conclusion Dysfunctional facial information processing, such as a deficit in gender discrimination, might be an endophenotype of schizophrenia.

      • 웰니스(Wellness) 개념분석

        Purpose : This study was conducted to identify the properties of the concept of wellness within the context and obtain theoretical evidences. Methods : Walker and Avant s concept analysis process was utilized. Computer and manual searches were conducted with articles addressing wellness from 2005 to 2014. PubMed, NDSL, and RISS were the electronic databases used to access literature for this study. An inductive analysis of articles produced descriptive themes. Results : The attributes of wellness were identified as 1) dynamics and continuity towards desirable lifestyle, 2) physical functionality, 3) intimacy, 4) future-oriented pioneership, and 5) holistic integrity. Antecedents of wellness were described as attention for meaning of life and its application toward contentinent and well-being, attention for general health status, desire to change lifestyle and behaviors for better life. Consequences of wellness were described as improvement of the quality of life and maximization of personal potential. Conclusion : The results of this concept analysis will be of help for understanding of the concept of wellness and provide theoretical basis for use of the concept in nursing practice.

        감정노동자의 ESG 활동에 대한 지각이 조직동일시와 유지의도에 미치는 영향 : 광주지역 콜센터 직원을 대상으로

        최근 ESG는 전 세계적인 기업의 경영 트렌드로 확산되고 있다. 기업이 ESG 경영 패러다임을 빠르게 받아들이고 있는 시점에서, 직원의 ESG 활동 지각이 직원의 태도 및 행동의 주요 변인인 자기효능감, 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향과 자기효능감, 임파워먼트가 조직동일시, 유지의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 본 연구는 실증분석을 위해 국내 주요 보험 회사의 콜센터에서 근무하는 직원들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 콜센터 직원은 고객접점에서 고객의 다양한 목소리와 니즈를 파악하여 이를 해결한다. 또한, 콜센터 직원은 비대면 감정노동의 대표적인 직업군이며, 다른 감정노동 직업군과 마찬가지로 높은 이직률이라는 문제를 지니고 있다. STATA 14.0과 SPSS 25.0을 이용해 기술적 통계와 신뢰성 및 타당성을 검증하였고, 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 분석을 진행해 변수 간 인과관계에 대한 가설을 검증했다. 또한, 다중회귀분석을 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 직원의 ESG 활동 지각은 자기효능감과 임파워먼트에 긍정적 영향을 미침을 알게 되었다. 둘째, 자기효능감과 임파워먼트는 조직동일시에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, ESG 활동 지각이 조직동일시에 미치는 직접효과 역시 유의한 결과를 보였다. 한편, 자기효능감과 임파워먼트가 ESG 활동 지각과 조직동일시 간에 각각 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 조직동일시가 유지의도에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설 또한 유의한 결과를 나타내어 채택되었다. 본 연구는 기업의 필수 경영전략으로 대두된 ESG가 직원 행동의 주요 선행 변수에 긍정적 영향을 가져온다는 직원의 ESG 활동 지각의 중요성에 관한 이해를 제공하였다. 구체적으로 현 연구 결과는 이직이 잦은 콜센터에서 직원의 유지의도를 높일 수 있는 요인으로 ESG 경영에 대한 직원 인식을 제시하였다. 직장 내 ESG 경영을 강화해야 하는 현시점에서 직원들에게 ESG 활동 지각 개선 교육 등 ESG 경영활동에 대한 인식을 높이는 활동들을 통하여 감정노동 직업군에서 많이 발생하고 있는 이직 문제를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. ESG is widely accepted as a new global management paradigm. At this time, the current research investigates the relationship between the call center employees’ ESG activities recognition and two main attitudinal variables, self-efficacy and empowerment, and those variables’ influence on employees’ organizational identification and intention to stay in the organization. To conduct the study, customer representatives at major Korean insurance companies were surveyed. Customer representatives at call centers resolves various customer problems and needs. Also, they are customer contact points, and their interactions with customers form corporate reputation. Customer representatives at the insurance industry are considered to be emotional workers and exhibit high level of turnover. Collected responses were analyzed with STATA 14.0 and SPSS 25.0 for descriptive analysis, reliability and validity tests, and confirmatory factor analysis. To test the overall structure of the model, structural equation modeling analysis was conducted, and multiple regression analysis was performed to test the mediating role of self-efficacy and empowerment. To summarize the results, firstly, employees’ ESG activities recognition showed a positive effect on self-efficacy and empowerment, important constructs known to predict attitudes and behaviors of call center employees. Secondly, self-efficacy and empowerment significantly and positively influenced organizational identification. Thirdly, there was a positive direct influence of ESG activities recognition on organizational identification; however, self-efficacy and empowerment partially mediated the relationship between ESG activities recognition and organizational identification. Finally, organizational identification positively influenced intention to stay. This study provides an understanding on the role of ESG activities recognition. ESG activities recognition increased the level of both self-efficacy and empowerment among call center customer representatives, leading to their higher intention to stay. Therefore, the results of the study suggest a practical way to manage the turnover rates among emotional workers. Organizations need to adopt programs to increase ESG activities recognition by the employees and bring positive changes in employee motivations, their loyalty towards the organization, and their intention to stay.

      • 정서․정보적 지지중재가 뇌졸중입원환자를 돌보는 가족원의 부담감과 우울에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of emotional and informational support intervention on the burden and depression of primary family caregivers caring hospitalized stroke patients. Method: The research was a quasi-experimental study using a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. The participants were 30 primary family caregivers, 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. A pre-test and a post-test were conducted to measure main variables. The emotional and informational support intervention program was executed 2 times for 2 weeks. Program consisted of education about stroke by guidebook and counseling, was given for the experimental group. Data were analyzed using χ2, Fisher s exact test, and independent t-test with SPSS 14.0 program. Results: There were statistically significant decrease in burden, but depression was not statistically significant by difference between a pre-test and a post-test in the experimental group compared to that in the control group. Conclusion: The result of this study indicate that the Emotional and Informational Support Intervention program was effective in decreasing burden although not statistically significant reduction in depression. Therefore, it can be a way to reduce burden of primary caregivers caring stroke patients.

      • 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 소명의식, 생명의료윤리가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among self-esteem, sense of calling and biomedical ethics to nursing professionalism for nursing students and the influencing factors among nursing professionalism for nursing students. Methods: This study used 317 questionnaires from nursing students attending in B metropolitan to collect data from November 1, 2018 to November 15. Data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 20.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, Scheffe’s test, Pearson s correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The participant’s nursing professionalism level was 3.52±0.40, self-esteem level was 3.07±0.49, sense of calling level was 2.68±0.57 and biomedical ethics level was 2.92±0.29. nursing professionalism was a significant correlated between self-esteem (r=.21, p<.001), sense of calling (r=.36, p<.001), biomedical ethics (r=−.24, p<.001). According to the result of multiple regression analysis, The significant factors influencing nursing professionalism of nursing students were prosocial orientation belonging to the sub-areas of the sense of calling, biomedical ethics, major satisfaction and purpose/meaning belonging to the sub-areas of the sense of calling, it was explained by 18.7%. Conclusion: Based on this finding, Based on these findings, In order to positively establish the nursing professionalism of nursing students, it is necessary to further strengthen ethical education to inspire biomedical ethics awareness within the curriculum of the university. In addition, it is believed that it is necessary to seek ways to utilize in- and extra-curricular programs to increase major satisfaction and we suggest qualitative research to identify the cause of students with low major satisfaction.

        수술 전 정보제공이 학령전기 편도선절제술 환아 어머니의 불안, 불확실성 및 수술 후 간호만족도에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 수술 전 정보제공이 학령전기 편도선절제술 환아 어머니의 불안, 불확실성 및 수술 후 간호만족도에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전후 실험연구이다. 자료수집은 S종합병원에서 편도절제술을 받은 학령전기 환아의 어머니로 실험군 19명, 대조군 20명을 대상으로 하였다. 실험군에게는 수술에 따른 통상적 교육과 함께 소책자를 이용하여 연구자와 연구 보조원이 직접 간호사실에서 1:1 개별로 평균 20분 정도 정보제공을 하였으며 대조군에게는 통상적 교육만 실시하였다. 자료분석은 빈도와 백분율, χ²-test, Fisher’s exact test, Mann-Whitney U-test를 이용하였다. 수술 전 정보제공은 대조군과 실험군의 불안(U=104.5, p=.015), 불확실성(U=83.5, p=.002)에 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 수술 후 간호 만족도(U=109.5, p=.022)에도 유의하였다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 수술 전 정보제공은 학령전기 편도선절제술 환아 어머니의 불안, 불확실성 및 수술 후 간호만족도에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 추후 반복연구와 다양한 교육방법을 통한 정보제공의 효과검증이 필요할 것이다. This study is a nonequivalent control group pre- and post-test design research whose purpose was to determine what effects the pre-operation provision of information has on the anxiety and uncertainty of mothers with a pre-school child of tonsillectomy and nursing satisfaction after the operation. Data were collected from mothers whose child underwent tonsillectomy at S general hospital. For the collection, those mothers were divided into the experimental and control groups, respectively consisting of 19 and 20 members. The experimental group was provided general education about the operation. In addition, they individually received information about the procedure that the researcher and an assistant provided on one-to-one basis for about 20 minutes, in which brochures containing the information were used. While, the control group was provided only general education as mentioned above. For data analysis, this study conducted χ²-test, Fisher’s exact test and Mann-Whitney U-test. The pre-operation provision of information was found having brought significant differences between the control and experimental groups in their anxiety(U=104.5, p=.015) and uncertainty(U=83.5, p=.002) as well as their satisfaction after the operation(U=109.5, p=.022). The findings of this study strongly suggest that information provision before the operation is positively effective in reducing the anxiety and uncertainty of mothers with a tonsillectomy child and increasing their nursing satisfaction after the operation. These effects need to be more verified through repetitive and subsequent researches and by using many other methods of information provision.

        여대생의 대인불안과 대인관계

        본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 대인불안과 대인관계정도를 파악하고 여대생의 대인불안이 대인관계에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 여대생의 대인관계를 향상시킬 수 있는 중재방안의 기초자료를 마련하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 B광역시와 K 지역에 소재하고 있는 대학에서 재학 중인 여학생 231명이었으며, 자료수집 기간은 2014년 9월 3일부터 동년 9월 17일까지였다. 자료수집방법은 구조화된 설문지에 자가 보고식으로 작성하도록 하여 수집하였고, 자료의 분석은 SPSS 21.0 Program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe"s test, Pearson correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 대상자의 대인관계정도는 중상정도이며, 대인불안정도는 중간이상의 수준이었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 대인관계는 학과만족도, 지각한 경제상태, 친구 수, 이성교제, 최근 경험한 정서에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 대인관계와 대인불안은 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 대상자의 대인관계에 영향을 미치는 요인은 대인불안과 친구 수로 확인되었으며, 총 30.1%를 설명하였다(Adj. R2=.301, p<.001). 따라서 여대생들의 대인관계능력을 향상시키기 위한 중재 프로그램 개발 시 본 연구에서 규명된 자료를 기초로 하여 여대생의 대인관계능력을 향상시키는 프로그램에 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다. This study examined the factors influencing interpersonal anxiety in female interpersonal relationships of female college students to establish baseline data for appropriate interventions. The study participants were 231 female college students in B and K city. The data were collected from questionnaires gathered between September 3rd, 2014 and September 17th of the same year, and analyzed by a t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe"s test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS 21.0 Program. According to the results, the participants" social interaction anxiety and interpersonal relations showed a negative correlation and statistically significant differences according to the satisfaction level for the major, perceived economic level, number of friends, boyfriend, and recently experienced emotion. The factors affecting the interpersonal relations was social interaction anxiety and social interaction anxiety; this was explained by 30.1%. Therefore, the collected data are expected to be useful for establishing baseline data for the development of an intervention program that can help female college students lower their social interpersonal anxiety and improve their ability for interpersonal relationships.
