The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute (4 hours) and repeated-dose (6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks) toxic effects of I -hexene on Sprague- Dawley (SD) rats which were treated by inhalation. The results were as follows; I. The median lethal concentration (LC_(50)) was estimated 52,694 ppm (confidence limit 95%; 49,494~55,447 ppm) in acute inhalation. Abnormal clinical signs related to the l-Hexene were not observed with the acute inhalation dose. Gross findings of necropsy revealed on evidence of specific toxicity related to the 1-hexene, II. By repeated inhalation exposure the body weight of male were more or less reduced by the dose of 2,500 ppm and 5,000 ppm compared with control group. However there were no significant variation hematology and blood biochemistry for the exposed rats compared with the control rats. Abnormal clinical signs and gross findings of necropsy related to the 1-hexene were not shown. In conclusion when we exposed I-hexene to SD rats for 4 weeks, 5 days per week, 6 hours per day, the Lowest observed effect level (LOEL) was over 2,500 ppm and Non observed effect level (NOEL) was below 500 ppm.

The CrO3 mostly used in plating. metal surface disposal, leather, cosmetic manufacturing, as an experiment material by repeatedly inhaling and exposure the male S.D. rats at a 0.00, 0.2., 0.50, 1.25 mg/㎡ concentration(particle size: 0.5-0.5 aerosol)6hours a day, 5day a week in 13weeks comparing with 2weeks, 8weeks of recovery group about the noxiousness of the experiment animal and the reduce scale of the CrO3 in the internal organ especially in blook and respiratory organ with the period of convalescent and clearance. The experiment results which we received are as follows. 1. In blood the RBC, HGB and HCT experiment, rats with 0.20, 0.50 mg/㎡ concentration showed that there were some decreases but not dependent. The kidneys absolute weight compared with control group was reduced intentionally(p〈0.05) and the lungs absolute weight compared with control group showed intentional increase(p〉0.05). 2. After the exposure of the experiment material, the whole blook, l\blood plasma and red blood cell in blood by (x): the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr concentration, was y=66.51 e -0.057x, y=67.2 e-0.101x, y=70.01 e-0.030 in 0.50 mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life (day)was estimated 12.0, 6086, 23.0 each. 3, After the exposure of the experiment material, the experiment animals lung, liver and kidneys by(x); the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr conentration, was y=1808 e-0.00493x, y=12.02e-0.0297x, y=67.61 e-0.0292x in 0.50mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life(day)was estimated 140.6, 23.3, 23.7, each, and including lung, liver with all of the experiment internal organs, the Cr clearance decreased as the exposure concentration increased.

<P> A novel low-cost fiber in-line-type bidirectional optical subassembly using a tilted fiber Bragg grating has been developed for fiber-to-the-home applications. We successfully realized a low-cost subassembly by reducing the number of components and simplifying the packaging process. The extinction ratio of 14.8 dB, receiver minimum sensitivity of <TEX>${-}$</TEX>26.5 dBm at a bit-error rate of <TEX>$10^{-12}$</TEX> and frequency response of 2.7 GHz were experimentally obtained. The electrical crosstalk between transmitter and receiver part was less than <TEX>${-}$</TEX>86 dB up to 2.5 GHz. </P>
A One-Kilobit PQR-CMOS Smart Pixel Array

The photonic quantum ring (PQR) laser is a three dimensional whispering gallery (WG) mode laser and has anomalous quantum wire properties, such as microampere to nanoampere range threshold currents and dependent - T thermal red shifts. We observed uniform bottom emissions from a 1-kb smart pixel chip of a 32×32 InGaAs PQR laser array flip-chip bonded to a 0.35 µm CMOS-based PQR laser driver. The PQR-CMOS smart pixel array, now operating at 30 MHz, will be improved to the GHz frequency range through device and circuit optimization. to nanoampere range threshold currents and T-dependent thermal red shifts. 일반적으로 기존의 컨버터는 역률개선과 출력전압 조정을 위하여 전력을 이단으로 처리한다. 이러한 이단 전력 처리로 인하여 소용량 컨버터에서는 역률개선회로를 채택하지 않은 경우가 많다. 하지만 하나의 스위치로서 역률개선과 출력전압 조정을 할수 있는 단일 전력단 AC/DC 컨버터를 구성할수 있다. 이러한 단일 전력단 역시 제어회로가 필요하여 소용량 컨버터 설계시 가격이 상승하는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위하여 제어회로 및 부가기능이 내장되어 있는 스마트 소자 TOP 스위치를 이용하여 소용량 컨버터를 해석하고 실험결과를 나타내었다.

Two subjects, Science teaching method and Study of the subject matters, are established to let students have the ability to teach the elementary science. It is an overwthelming view that Science teaching method course are merely divided into the above-mentioned two subjects by the elevation from the junior college to the senior one. But the authors discussed this theme on the junior college to the senior one. But the authors discussed this theme on the viewpoint that Study of the subject matters, newly established, is the result reflecting the significance of the elevation, not just the division of Science teaching method course inaugurated in the junior college period. The subject matters in the elementary school should include the fundamental concepts to attain the goal of the subject. That is, the subject matters should include the learning contents with the educational significance. Therefore, Study of the subject matters is defined as studying what these contents may signify educationally. From these points of view, Study of the subject matters is: 1) the study intended for the subject matters of the elementary school. That is ① what the fundamental concepts are, ② how they are related each other, ③ what their educational significance is. 2) to study the educational significance of the other subject contents. 3) a study for establishing the pertinent goal and selecting the subject matters to attain this goal when the educational conditions, such as the actual state and environment of children, are given. The authors discussed about article 1) in this paper.
새로운 방식의 PFC Single Stage Full Bridge AC/DC Converter

기존의 ZVS 풀브리지 DC/DC 컨버터에 역률보상(Power Factor Correction)을 위한 수동 보조회로를 추가하여 하나의 AC/DC 컨버터로 역률보상, AC전원으로부터의 절연 및 안정된 DC 출력을 얻을 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 주 스위치에 대하여 영전압 스위칭을 함으로써 소자의 전압 스트레스를 낮출 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 역률보상을 위한 스위치 및 스위치 제어, 구동을 위한 부가적인 회로들이 필요하지 않으므로 컨버터의 효율이 향상되고 가격이 절감되는 장점을 가지고 있다. 제안된 컨버터의 동작원리의 해석 및 제어방법고 함께 주파수 100㎑, 출력용량 1.2㎾ 컨버터의 시뮬레이션을 통하여 이의 타당성을 입증하였다. This paper proposes New single stage power factor correction (PFC) zero voltage switching(ZVS) full bridge AC/DC converter. The proposed converter is combined previous ZVS full bridge DC/DC converter with few passive components, two inductors, two diodes and two magnetic coupling transformer, for PFC. This process of power is isolated from the source and also regulate stable DC output voltage in a category. In this topology, the voltage stress of main switches is reduced by zero voltage switching. Moreover, the proposed converter doesn't need active PFC switch and auxiliarly circuits, like control and gating board, so it could decrease the size, cost and increase efficiency.
