In this paper, CarSim Vehicle model with 27 degree of freedom and MDPS System model using the Simulink Block were used to verify MDPS Control Algorithm. Vehicle behavior and efficiency of Vehicle movement were made an experiment using the MDPS control algorithm with Basic Assist Control, Returnability Control and Damping Control. This experiment method has the advantage of being economy of time and low costs. In days to come, the study using the Hardware In the Loop Simulation (HILS) and real vehicle will be based on this study.

This paper is about steering system of Steer-by-Wire(SBW). As a SBW system is applied in order to improve steering feel and maneuverability, the controller should have two purposes. One is controlling steering wheel for the driver's steering feel and the other is controlling the front wheel system for vehicle stability. This study focuses on steering wheel system. The column is reduced in the SBW steering wheel system. Therefore it need artificial steering feel. This is the study for an objective evaluation method with steering angle, steering torque to quantify steering feel of SBW system. Based on this method, the affect two different torque map performance was simulated and compared each other.
A Study Plant of Chemical Cleaning Wastewater Reuse in SWI (Solid Waste Incineration)

The study was to review the diversification of treatment as a substitute for chemicals(Urea solution and ammonia solution) by spraying· incinerating liquid chemical cleaning wastewater. According to the review results, when incinerating chemical cleaning wastewater, at least about 60 % of nitrogen oxides(NOx) reduction efficiency was shown. Ammonia(NH3) ingredient in chemical cleaning wastewater plays a role of a reducing agent of Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction(SNCR) and reduced the generation amount of nitrogen oxide(NOx) and is considered to have a substitution effect as a chemical(Ammonia, Urea etc.) used for removing nitrogen oxide(NOx). Thus, this study reviewed domestic relevant systems based on these results and derived institutional improvement(draft) for chemical cleaning wastewater incineration and treatment facilities management criteria(draft) etc.

In this paper, R-MDPS control algorithm was developed and evaluated using HILS. R-MDPS algorithm is composed of basic assist map, vibration reduction algorithm, returnability control algorithm and damping compensator. Basic assist map and vibration reduction algorithm are basic control algorithm to assist drivers. Returnability control algorithm and damping compensator improve steering feel and vehicle safety. In this control algorithm, load torque observer is used to reduce vibration of R-MDPS system. Road load reproduction system is used to make this experiment and evaluate R-MDPS control algorithm. This System reproduced road load using CarSim vehicle model.

This paper is about steering system of Steer-by-Wire(SBW). The SBW system consists of two parts. One is Steering wheel system and the other is front wheel system. There is no mechanical system between the steering wheel system and front wheel system. Steering wheel system applies the appropriate steering feel to the driver. Therefore it can be tuned easier than conventional system. Front wheel system is Tie-rod actuating type which has two independent actuating. We need the algorithm that operates the front wheel system and improves the stability and the maneuverability. The algorithm in this paper is based on Ackerman constraint. The algorithm is simulated by CarSim which has 27 DOF.

Background: Since the era of “thyroid cancer epidemic,” many Korean academic societies discouraged the use of ultrasonography in healthy individuals and revised the Korean Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System to ad-dress the overscreening and overdiagnosis issues. This study aimed to evaluate the change in the diagnostic effec-tiveness of thyroid cancer screening over the last decade.Methods: This single-center, retrospective observational study analyzed the data of 125,962 thyroid nodules ob-tained during cancer screening at the health promotion center of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital from 2010 to 2019. Only 327 thyroid cancer cases pathologically confirmed by fine-needle aspiration (FNA) were includ-ed in the study. The strength of the association between the number of FNA and (1) the number of thyroid cancer diagnoses, (2) the positive predictive values (PPVs), and (3) the difference in PPV from the previous year were eval-uated using Pearson’s correlation analysis.Results: The number of thyroid FNA biopsies as well as the thyroid cancer diagnoses decreased from 2010 to 2019 (166 to 48 [-71.1%] vs. 43 to 22 [-48.8%]). The PPV of FNA biopsies increased from 25.9% to 45.8% (+76.8%) and was negatively correlated with the number of FNA biopsies performed (R=-0.87, P<0.001). The difference in PPV from the previous year increased similarly but without statistical significance (R=-0.59, P=0.09).Conclusion: The diagnostic efficiency of thyroid cancer screening has increased over the last decade, as evidenced by the increasing PPV of FNA biopsies.

When we study steering system, making use of HILS is general method to study. Generally, HILS of steering System is cheaper than real car test in the economical aspect and timesaving aspect. If we test various series of vehicles or use the other type of steering systems, however, uneconomical trial to establish the new HILS system. To minimize the economical and periodical loads, we would try to introduce the new HILS system to fit diverse steering systems. We design the moving column system to correspond to each other vehicles and adopt the extension unit to satisfy the many types of tread.
Distribution of Nitric Oxide Synthase Isoforms in Perioral Exocrine Glands in Rats

Endogenous nitric oxide (NO), synthesized by NO synthase (NOS), has been reported to play certain roles in exocrine gland secretion. Little has been found, however, on the distribution of NOS isoforms in perioral exocrine glands and their innervating ganglia. Monoclonal mouse anti-endothelial NOS and anti-neuronal NOS were used as primary antibodies for immunohistochemistry. Neuronal NOS(nNOS) immunoreactivity was strongly demonstrated in the submandibular ganglion an postganglionic fibers in the submandibular and minor salivary glands in the tongue and in the lacrimal gland. nNOS was also moderately stained in the myoepithelial cells and excretory ducts of the major salivary glands with the ducts in the parotid gland staining weakest. The reactivity was weak in the sebaceous gland and barely visible in the superior cervical ganglion, trigeminal ganglion, excretory ducts of the minor salivary glands and acini of all the salivary glands. Strong endothelial NOS(eNOS) immunoreactivity was observed in the vascular endothelial cells, excretory ducts of the major salivary glands and the lacrimal gland. The eNOS immunoreactivity was moderate in the myoepithelial cells in the major salivary glands. In contrast, very weak reactivity was seen in some acini of the major salivary glands and the sebaceous gland, and no reactivity was present in the ganglia and nerve fibers. These results suggest that eNOS-synthesized NO is implicated in the regulation of blood flow and secretion in perioral exocrine glands, whereas nNOS-synthesized NO is involved in th regulation of secretion in the perioral exocrine glands and may act as a neurotransmitter in their innervating parasympathetic ganglia.
