        상악 결손부 수복을 위한 측두피판의 이용

        The functional deformity following removal of the maxilla is considerable, especially following maxilla cancer excision. Rehabilitation of oral and maxillofacial region used to be very difficult with prosthesis or traditional flaps. Temporal muscle and fascia flaps have been described for immediate reconstruction following hemi-maxillectomy, but not total maxillectomy. The muscle and superficial fascia of the temporal area differ in their physical characteristics, vascular supply and clinical applications. Both can be employed independently or simultaneously as regional flaps in the reconstruction of a variety of complex craniofacial defects. Four case is presented in which 3 case maxilla cancer, one case non-union after maxilla fracture, and all case showed successful use of this flap. Only one patient developed partial necrosis of the flap ; significant necrosis did not occur in any other patient. This present paper reviews the anatomy, surgical technique and utilisation of temporal muscle and fascia flaps.

      • 항산화제 섭취가 탈진적 운동 시 장딴지근의 GPx 및 GR의 활성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this present study was to investigate the effect of maximal exercise and a long-term antioxidants supplementation on antioxidant enzyme(GPx and GR) activity of gastrocnemius muscle in rats. Twenty four male Sprague-Dawley rats(4 weeks old) were used as subjects. The subjects were divided into 4 groups such as, CON(n=6 in control group), NAE(n=6 in non antioxidants exercise group), AC(n=6 in antioxidants control group) or AE(n=6 in antioxidants exercise group). Non-antioxidants group(CON & NAE) fed general food(Samyang, Inc., Korea) for 16 weeks. Antioxidants group(AC & AE) fed the general food and the mixed antioxidants which were consist of vitamin E(200 lu/kg/day), vitamin C(50 mg/rat/day), vitamin B6(250 ug/kg/day), β carotene(300 mg/kg/day) and selenomethionine(0.1 mg/mg/day), The weight of each subject group was weighed 2-3 times per week. After the diet experiment for 16 weeks, exercise groups(NAE & AE) completed acute treadmill running(speed increased gradually to 25 m/min, 15% uphill grade, ∼50±10 min) until exhaustion. Immediately after exhaustive treadmill exercise, all the subjects were sacrificed for the isolation of gastrocnemius. Then, GPx(Glutathione Peroxidase) and GR(Glutathione Reductase) of the gastrocnemlus muscle were assayed. The protein concentration in the muscle and heart was determined by the Lowry method. After finishing the analysis of antioxidant activity, statistical analysis was carried out by two-way ANOVA and independant t-test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: Maximal exercise increased the GPx and GR activity of gastrocnemius muscle, Further, a long-term antioxidants supplementation more significantly increased the GPx and GR activity of gastrocnemius muscle than those of non-antioxidants group. In conclusion, the present results clearly show that the exhaustive maximal exercise gave rise to increase oxidative stress which led to oxidative damage so that the antioxidant enzyme activity of gastrocnemius muscle were increased. Further, it has been found that the long-term antioxidants supplementation could decrease oxidative stress in the tissues so that the antioxidant enzyme activity of skeletal muscles was more increased.

      • 산불확산예측 프로그램 개발

        The objectives of this study were to investigate the pattern and characteristics of large-scale forest fire in Kangwon-Do and to develop a forest fire behavior prediction program. Samchuck forest fire, broken out in 2000, was chosen for the case study. The fire-damaged area was surveyed intensively to collect temporal and spatial data to analyze the pattern of frire spread and the intensity of fire front line using GIS. Based on the results of GIS analysis, developed were prediction equations for the fire spread rate and the fire intensity as the functions of variables of fuel, topography and weather factors. The forest fire behavior prediction program was developed based on GIS. This GIS program consists of spatial fire simulation module and I/O interface module for field use. The simulation module analyzes forest fire spread pattern in 3-D vector mode based on Richard's partial derivative approach.

      • 입지조건에 적합한 수종 판정을 위한 Neural Network 기법의 응용

        The objective of this study was to investigate the neural network performance in determining suitable tree species for site-specific stand characteristics. 200 sample plot data sets for 5 coniferous species were used. Each data set includes 13 factors describing the site characteristics of the corresponding sample plot. The results of this investigation indicate high performance of neural network in data processing procedures for extracting data sets with unrecognizable patterns involved. These data sets are those which have rare effect on site-specific species suitability or disturb pattern classification procedures of neural network. Also the results have shown high potential of neural network in determining the best-suitable tree species for site characteristics. The % accuracy of the neural network model in determining the best-suitable tree species for site characteristics ranges from 77.6% to 91.8% associated with the combination of site factors.

      • Software 복잡도와 구조도에 관한 고찰

        Software complexity measures are believed to provide the most objective and quantitative means of controlling software projects. In this paper, we discuss major properties and weakness of control complexity measures investigate hybrid measures and structuredness which complement the demerits of single component measures, analyze properties of control flow complexity measures and investigate a new complexity metrics using regular expression and S to measures program structuredness. To show the complexity according to the structered programs, COM1, and COM2 are presented.

      • 전력계통의 부하주파수제어를 위한 신경망 PID제어기 설계

        This paper has presented a method for self-tuning the PID controller suing a BP method of multilayered NNs. The proposed controller employ input signal as a learning signal of PID control. The proposed controller is applied to load-frequency control of power system and it is investigated a dynamic characteristic. The simulation results shows that proposed NN STPID controller has the good dynamics responses against load disturbances.

      • 태권도 품새 수련이 아동의 심박수, 심근산소소비량, 에너지 대사에 미치는 영향

        The Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo are based upon eight major branches of philosophical theories. The propose of this study was to investigate the nfluence of Taekwondo poomse trainning on heart rate, MVO2, energy metabolism in primary school students. Subjects for this study were eight male the fifth∼sixth grades students who participated in exercise program consist of Taekwondo poomse trainning in dojang which is located in Shinlim-2dong, Kwanak-Gu, Seoul(12.7± 0.5years, 150.8 ±4.6cm, 45.1 ± 9.4kg, 24.9 ± 9trainning length). The results of thet this study are as follows: 1) The average of heart rate was Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo 90.57± 4.gbeats/min in rest and 139.7 ± 17.5beats/min in exercise. The minimum heart rate was 89.0±2.8, peak heart rate was 167.1 ±6.4 in exercise. It was ranged from 42% to 80% 2) of the max heart rate and ranged 42 to 65%HRmax. Taegeuk 1 Jang was differenced with others Jangs significantly(p<0.05), 2) The time of the Taegeuk 1 through 8 Jang of Taekwondo was 5minutes 12seconds. Heart rate was ranged from 90.6 ± 7.85beats/min to 171.8 ±8.Ibeats/min and increased linearly. 3) The average of the MVO2 was 11.1 ±0.78mmHg · bpm-3 in rest and 19.1 ± 1.2mmHg ㆍbpm-3 in exercise. MVO2 was ranged from 10.5mmHg · bpm-3 to 20.3mmHg · bpm-3. There were not difference between Taegeuk Poomses(p<0.05). 4) The energy metabolism was as follows: Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.51(V02L/min),0.71(RQ),2.32Ckca1/min) in rest respectively. but In exercise Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.89 ± 0.18( V 02L/min), 0.79±0.08(RQ), 4.26±0.51(kcal/min) respectively . The difference was only between Taegeuk 1 Jang and Taegeuk 3 Jang(p<0.05). This study showed that the Taekwondo Poomse trainning was proper exercise for fitness, body composition and weight control in normal, abnormal(obese) children because the Taekwondo trainning are dynamic and exciting sport.

      • 퍼지 PID제어기를 이용한 전력계통의 안정화장치에 관한 연구

        This paper presents a design techique of the fuzzy PID controller for power system stabilization. PID parameters of the fuzzy PID controller were self-tuned by the fuzzy inference algorithm. The proposed controller compare with conventional power system stabilizer(PSS) under various of initial vlue of rotor angle deviation and load condition. The eslated simulation results show that the proposed controller was more excellent control characteristics than conventional PSS in transient-state and steady-state response.

      • GIS 응용에 의한 산림기능적합도 평가모델

        The objective of this research was to develop a GIS model to evaluate suitability of various forest functions. Among the various social demands for forest functions, chosen were five categories; forest environment conservation, forest calamity protecting, water conservation, recreation, timber production. To develop the model, quantitative measures to evaluate the suitability of forest functions were used. The land suitability map for each forest function was generated by spatial analysis for tophographic, geographic, and ecological thematic maps. Considering forest management situations as well as computation efficiency, proposed were three approaches for developing forest function maps; region grouping approach for small-scale forest lands, mesh unit approach for relatively large forest lands, and subcompartment unit approach for national forests.

      • 유동층반응기에서 CVI에 의한 SiC증착된 고표면적 촉매지지체 제조에 관한 수치모사의 연구

        In this research, to improve the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of catalyst support in manufacturing the catalyst, the formation of SiC layer on the activated carbon by permeating SiC from dichlorodimethylsilane(DDS) into pore and depositing while the porous structure was kept was studied. Activated carbons of sizes of 4-12, 12-20, 20-40 mesh were used. The best conditions of manufacturing the support were found by studying the characteristics of SiC under various deposition conditions. The results from the mathematical modeling were compared with the experimental results. The changes of the amount of deposition, pore diameter, surface area with time were obtained by simulating convection, diffusion of DDS and reaction in isothermal reactor at steady state. The uniform deposition in the pores of sample was obtained at a lower concentration of DDS and a lower pressure. Additionally, from the observation that the pore diameter and the surface area have minimum values at a certain time of deposition, it was known that deposition occurred inside of the pore at first and then on the outside of particle.
