        정신지체 특수학교 직업과 교육과정 분석 : 장애인 고용 실태와의 비교를 바탕으로

        This study was intended to analyze the vocational education curriculum based on the job status of people with disabilities. For this purpose, secondary data from statistical data of 'survey of the disabled employment reality - in-depth survey' implemented by Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were used to reveal the job status of people with disabilities. In addition, vocational education curriculum of three special schools was analyzed. In this study, following issues are suggested. First, vocational education for students with intellectual disabilities should focus the adaption ability at working sites and provide field oriented education which is for enhancing job skills. Second, by emphasizing working site-based education, an opportunity of being able to apply occupational skill and knowledge obtained with an aim of responsible duty performance and achievement of duty goals that are required at working sites should be provided diversly. Third, in order to share an information for man-recruit as well as job-seeking between school and the job sites efficiently, a communication channel is required in a governmental perspective. 본 연구는 장애인 근로자의 직업의 실태와 직업현장에서 요구하는 요구사항을 분석하고, 특수학교에서 운영되고 있는 기본교육과정 직업교과와 전공과 교육과정을 비교하여 연계성을 찾고 이를 통해 문제점을 도출하여 정신지체학생의 직업교육의 방안을 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 한국고용공단에서 실시한 장애인 고용실태의 자료의 일부를 활용하였고, 3개의 정신지체 특수학교의 직업교육 및 전공과 교육과정이 분석되었다. 연구 결과를 종합하여 보면 현재 운영 되고 있는 정신지체 특수학교 직업 교육과정은 학교 선택 직종과 취업 현장의 직무는 연계성은 있으나 취업 전형, 사업체에서 필요로 하는 신체적 기능, 직무 능력, 업무 수행능력 등과 관련된 교육 내용이 적은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 정신지체 직업 교육은 정신지체인의 직업 현장 적응력을 높이고 사업체의 장애인 근로자에 대한 만족을 높일 수 있도록 직업 영역과 제재를 포함하고 관련된 지식과 기능을 늘릴 수 있도록 시수 등을 보강하는 노력을 해야 할 것이다. 또한 학교와 사업체 간의 구인과 구직에 관한 정보를 효율적으로 공유할 수 있도록 정부적인 측면에서 의사소통의 장이 필요하다. 끝으로 연구의 제한점과 후속연구에 대한 제언이 포함되었다.

      • 여수국가산업단지 인근 지역 대기오염물질 농도에 영향을 미치는 요인분석

        Eight monitoring stations in the Yeosu National Industrial Complex will determine the concentration of air pollutants measured every hour in 2019, analyze what factors affect them, and how they correlate with the air pollutant measurements. Six air pollutants (SO2, NO2, O3, CO, PM-10 and PM-2.5) measured at eight monitoring stations around Yeosu National Industrial Complex (Seogang-dong, Wolnae-dong, Munsu-dong, Yeocheon-dong, Deokchung-dong, Hwayang-myeon, Yulchon-myeon, Samil-dong) the measurement data for each hour of the year were downloaded to analyze the concentration by weather condition, time zone, season, separation distance from Yeosu Industrial Complex, and separation distance from Gwangyang Industrial Complex. SO2, NO2, and CO concentrations were significantly higher in winter, significantly lower in summer, and O3, PM-10, and PM-2.5 concentrations were significantly higher in spring. SO2, CO, PM-10, and PM-2.5 concentrations were significantly higher between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., NO2 concentrations were significantly higher between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and O3 concentrations were significantly higher between 13 p.m. and 15 p.m.(p<0.001). The concentration of air pollutants (SO2, NO2, CO, PM-10, PM-2.5) excluding O3 was found to have a negative (-) correlation with weather condition, and in the case of O3, it was found to have a positive (+) correlation with PM-10, PM-2.5, temperature and wind speed. It was confirmed that the concentration of air pollutants emitted from the Yeosu National Industrial Complex differs depending on the season, time and distance to the industrial complex. This study aims to establish measures to minimize health damage to residents living relatively close to the industrial complex and contribute to the establishment of management and response measures according to the properties of substances to reduce the concentration of air pollutants in the future.

      • A Systemic Literature Review Method using Contents Analysis

        Objective: This study proposes a systematic method of literature review using contents analysis. Contents analysis on literatures can provide researchers with more insight on the research field without subjective bias. By conducting an exemplary case study on the metadata of vision research, we could identify the characteristic of the structured and unstructured information as well as the general trend of vision studies. Background: As literatures on specific area start from a broad range, reviewers can give more or less weight on specific issues. Quantitative approach based on metadata of literatures can complement such biases. Method: Of the articles collected with three search keywords, ‘visual search’, ‘eye movement’ and ‘eye tracking’, we collected title, abstract, and keywords as the unstructured data set, while using the keyword data for the structured one. We then evaluated seven categories on the literature terms using the inductive categorization and identified chronological trend of the research area using frequency count. Results: While studies on ‘visual search’ cover wide range of cognitive area, ‘eye movement’ and ‘eye track’ showed close relation to physiological topics. Terms on the category, ‘stimuli’ and ‘condition’ were found to be important keywords regardless of the purpose of the research. Furthermore, chronological analysis showed number of experimental studies increased compared to the theoretical studies. Conclusion: By quantitatively analyzing literatures on ‘visual search’, ‘eye movement’, and ‘eye tracking’, we concluded that the structured data is more efficient to find out the purpose of the research. Moreover, studies on physical eye movement and cognitive process have been studied together increasingly.

      • Pre-analytical phase errors: Experience in a clinical chemistry laboratory

        Recent studies have shown that up to 70% of analytical errors reflect the pre-analytical phase. However, in the field of animal experiment, various conditions for reducing errors before analysis are lacking. There is also insufficient accumulation of empirical data on the size of errors and their results, types of errors, and resolution methods. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of pre-analysis error factors found during the animal experiments, especially the hemolysis of samples, on the clinical chemistry test results, to increase the probability of new drug development succeeding and to reduce both the unnecessary expenditure and time. Among the samples requested for over approximately a year, we analyzed what percentage of samples was hemolyzed and investigated clinical chemistry test items affected by the hemolyzed sample through literature review. Also, causes and prevention methods of hemolysis, and how to handle samples after blood collection were investigated. 49.8% of requested samples from various institutes were hemolyzed. In hemolyzed samples, creatinine, total protein, AST and LD increased, and glucose, direct bilirubin and TG decreased. BUN, total cholesterol and GGT did not show a statistically significant difference. The causes of hemolysis included pulling the syringe piston too strongly, leaving the blood untended for too long, too much foam in the blood, and having water in the tube. In order to prevent hemolysis, appropriate needle with a suitable gauge for the size of the animal and blood vessel should be used for blood collection, and samples should be prepared according to the standard guidelines. This study aims to identify and improve problems with pre-analysis errors in animal experiments to prevent waste of time, probability and cost of new drug development, as well as to improve social awareness of laboratory animals. When researchers become aware of this information, and prevent hemolysis in advance, the accuracy of animal experiment results will increase, and further increase the probability of drug development to successfully reach the final launch stage.

        Genetic polymorphisms of CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP3A4, and CYP3A5 in Vietnamese-Koreans

        The Vietnamese-Koreans, especially offspring between a Vietnamese mother and a Korean fatherconstituted the highest proportion (64.2%) of total Kosian population according to a census in 2014. To evaluate genetic characteristics in the Vietnamese-Koreans, a total of 25 alleles from CYP2C9,CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP3A4, and CYP3A5 were genotyped using SNaPshot method with DNAsamples of 127 Vietnamese-Koreans. The previous reports on the CYPs of Korean and Vietnamesepopulations were also analyzed for the comparative studies for the frequencies of CYP alleles. Thestatistical significances in allele and genotype frequencies among the ethnics were analyzed by Chisquareor Fisher's exact probability test. Although most of variants analyzed in 5 CYPs did notreach the statistically significant difference between the Vietnamese-Koreans and Vietnamese, somealleles were only found in Vietnamese-Koreans. Compared with Korean population, frequencies ofCYP2D6*1 and CYP2D6*10B were statistically different from Vietnamese-Koreans (p<0.05). Thisis the first report to describe the CYP genotype profiles of Vietnamese-Koreans, which may provideimportant insight for the genotype based prediction of CYP activities of this admixture of Koreanand Vietnamese.

        Umbelliferone reduces the expression of inflammatory chemokines in HaCaT cells and DNCB/DFE-induced atopic dermatitis symptoms in mice

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Umbelliferone (UMB) is a coumarin derivative present in roots and barks of plants, such as <I>Angelica decursiva</I>, <I>Artemisia capillaris</I>, and orange. UMB has been previously reported to exhibit anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and anti-cancer effects. However, the effect of UMB on atopic dermatitis (AD) remains unknown. The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-atopic effects of UMB on 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB)- and house dust mite extract (<I>Dermatophagoides farinae</I> extract, DFE)-treated mice with AD-like skin lesions and on tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α/interferon (IFN)-γ-treated HaCaT cells. In DNCB/DFE-treated mice, oral administration of UMB (20 and 40 mg/kg) for 28 days led to a significant decrease in ear thickness, spleen size and weight, serum levels of immunoglobulin E (IgE), IgG1, IgG2a, TNF-α, and interleukin 4 (IL-4), and mast cell infiltration; it also led to the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines. In addition, UMB reduced the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines in TNF-α/IFN-γ-treated HaCaT cells via regulation of MAPK, IkB-α/NF-κB, and STAT1 signaling pathways.         A Content Analysis of the Trends in Vision Research With Focus on Visual Search, Eye Movement, and Eye Track

        Objective: This study aims to present literature providing researchers with insights on specific fields of research and highlighting the major issues in the research topics. A systematic review is suggested using content analysis on literatures regarding "visual search", "eye movement", and "eye track". Background: Literature review can be classified as "narrative" or "systematic" depending on its approach in structuring the content of the research. Narrative review is a traditional approach that describes the current state of a study field and discusses relevant topics. However, since literatures on specific area cover a broad range, reviewers inherently give subjective weight on specific issues. On the contrary, systematic review applies explicit structured methodology to observe the study trends quantitatively. Method: We collected meta-data of journal papers using three search keywords: visual search, eye movement, and eye track. The collected information contains an unstructured data set including many natural languages which compose titles and abstracts, while the keyword of the journal paper is the only structured one. Based on the collected terms, seven categories were evaluated by inductive categorization and quantitative analysis from the chronological trend of the research area. Results: Unstructured information contains heavier content on "stimuli" and "condition" categories as compared with structured information. Studies on visual search cover a wide range of cognitive area whereas studies on eye movement and eye track are closely related to the physiological aspect. In addition, experimental studies show an increasing trend as opposed to the theoretical studies. Conclusion: By systematic review, we could quantitatively identify the characteristic of the research keyword which presented specific research topics. We also found out that the structured information was more suitable to observe the aim of the research. Chronological analysis on the structured keyword data showed that studies on "physical eye movement" and "cognitive process" were jointly studied in increasing fashion. Application: While conventional narrative literature reviews were largely dependent on authors" instinct, quantitative approach enabled more objective and macroscopic views. Moreover, the characteristics of information type were specified by comparing unstructured and structured information. Systematic literature review also could be used to support the authors" instinct in narrative literature reviews.
